What could be the reason for pain in heel after waking up in morning in winter season.
It is due to the calcaneal spur (inflammation of the calcaneum bone) which causes the heel pain in majority of the cases. It is better to wear mcr chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area. Keep ice which will reduce the inflammation.

Hi heal pain usually happen due to weak muscle in you lower leg and in adds on if you are heavy in weight o start strengthening he leg muscle and for pain please apply ice for 10 minutes three times a day in night local applicatiion of some pain relieving balm or gel will also give you some relieve.

I am suffering from leg pain only when I sleep af night. It's nothing when I play , walk but triggers only when I sleep.
: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Take hot fermentation. Avoid prolong sitting and standing. Avoid cross leg sitting. Avoid squatting too. Do knee joint strengthening exercises. Otherwise consult physiotherapist.

This could be due to OA knee &/Or obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated Rule out diabetes & vit.D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. IBUPROFEN 200mg OD & SOS x 5days CALDIKID PLUS (mankind) 1 tab ODx10days You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan.. Don't ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi You may use spinal brace in daytime, rrmoving in bed. Do spinal muscles strengthening exercises, avoid lifting heavy objects. Do hot fomentation, apply omnigel locally. Myospaz after meals twice a day for 5 days. Consult a spine surgeon if need for lumbar traction. If disease process advances, spinal fusion, directory and foraminotomy may be needed. As of now, conservative treatment should help yes, you can marry, no such implications are there best wishes.

Most leg pain results from wear and tear, overuse, or injuries in joints or bones or in muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues. Leg pain can also be caused by blood clots, varicose veins or poor circulation. To relieve mild pain: stay off your leg as much as possible apply an ice pack or bag of frozen peas to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day elevate your leg whenever you sit or lie down please go to a physiotherapist if: you have pain during or after walking you have swelling in both legs your pain gets worse your symptoms don't improve after a few days of home treatment you have painful varicose veins if you feel the pain is from muscle cramp then you need to drink a lot of water because poor fluid intake (dehydration) may predispose to cramps also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly cause cramps. Continuuously work is your problem tk break between work and do walk for 5 to 10 minute and slight stretch your muscle. Then again do your work. And heat formation with rest time and apply the pain relief ointment.

Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain inflammation 4) exercise and manual therapy will help in pain free movement. I am 56 years old. I do not have heart, sugar, bp or any problem. Due to excessive physical work since last 6 months I am having knee and leg muscle problem. Got physiotherapy (tft) and exercise (20 sittings) but no medicine. What medicine should I take. I am not on any medication.

Hello according to your condition you have to take hot water fermentation through towel and do it 3 times in a day duration-15 min along with stretching and back exercises like straingh leg raising, bridging with -20 min repetition -5 sec hold do it for 3 days sure you will get well soon take care.

I am 67 years young. Problem is higher level of triglycerides and marginal fasting sugar of 130. But have lot of gas. Some pain in lower back. Not taking any medicines.

Hello, single value of 130 fbs isn't significant. 2 consecutive higher fbs pp2bs value are of significance. Tell me your both fbs & pp2bs values, if both are on higher side, get done hba1c report. Also check your bp. Send your lipid profile report too.

Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain.

My sister has pain in her left forearm for more that a year. We have consulted ortho and done enough physiotherapy as advised. But either no relief or cure. We do not know to whom we consult further as we now we feel neither ortho nor neuro has nothing to do with this ailment. Please advise whom we have to consult.

Cervical spondylosis/ thoracic outlet syndrome are some of the conditions that may cause such type of pain. Also in certain cardiac conditions it may be present. Get an ecg. Please share detailed history like how and when did the pain start. What causes more pain and how does it relieve? for how long does it pain. Any history of injury etc. Any medications consumed.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.
