Heat fermentation twice a day and do stretching exercise of legs and rest or muscle relaxant medicine.

HI, Got x ray done. No heel spur. No degeneration. Still pain persists in heels I feel pain whenever I walk. Got sketchers shoes. Some relief. Please suggest. Shoud I do contrast bath or cold packs? And other treatment.

Heel Pain:Get treated with Ultrasonic therapy which would directly heal the calcaneal spur (inflammation of the calcaneum bone) which causes the heel pain in majority of the cases. Along with ultrasonic therapy, shortwave diathermy also can be given. Simultaneously it is better to wear MCR chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area. Simultaneously it is better to wear MCR chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the Plantar Fascitis weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area. You shall do contrast bath to relieve this pain. Contrast bath is nothing but keeping in one tub hot water (bearable heat) and in another tub cold water Ask your father to apply ice in the painful area which would definitely help to greater extent. If still the pain persists then it is better to keep TENS stimulation at one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics.

This is cervical pain (neck pain) and that's the reason the pain radiates until the shoulder blades. If you keep ice that would help and along side you can do hot water fermentation. You shall use cervical collar which would help you to reduce the radiating pain ie. Due to the nerve compression. Cervical spondylosis – chronic condition with radiating pain As your rightly said you have to go for traction and also you can do IFT. Please consult the near by therapist for quick relief. Since you have pain for more than 10 years it is suggestible to go for cervical muscle strengthening exercise. Use collar will definitely be helpful for him to maintain the good posture. And also cervical pillow can be used which might make you to have better posture of the shoulder neck and arm. This is cervical pain (neck pain) and that's the reason the pain radiates until the shoulder blades. If you keep ice that would help and along side you can do hot water fermentation. Obesity heavy putting too much pressure on load bearing and most complex joint of body i.e. Knee joint pain killers etc are not permenant ans for it improvement in joint functions and lossing extra fat by natural way is ans for it requires detailed histroy for solution consult privetly for details and ayurvediy medications pathyapathya.

Dear lybrate-user, Your back pain could be because of improper sleeping posture at night. Give hot water fomentation twice daily and that should solve your problem. Should the pain still persists meet a Physiotherapist who would assess you and teach you exercises. Wishing you good health and a speedy recovery.

Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.
