I am a 25yr old male, I suffer sinusitis often. I take medications too but only for a while it subsides. Advice me best doctor and medication.

DAA, DNB
Pulmonologist, Bangalore
Hi. I understand your concerns. Sinusitis can also be due to allergy. Best treatment option being steam inhalation and saline nasal douches. You will benefit from intranasal corticosteroids and anti allergy medicine if it is allergic. Consult a pulmonologist /allergist for the same. Hope your questions were answered. Thanks.

I have been getting inflamed tonsils for the past 2 years. I am planning to get the operation done. How much possibility there is of getting it back? and for how much time would I be away from it? and yes I am 23 years old male and also would it be okay to get the treatment done from a clinic instead of an hospital?

If you are having chronic throat problem then surgery is a better option that will remove the nidus of infection but you have to take postop precautions. Do betadine gargles twice a day till you get your operation done.

Hi lybrate-user. Very important thing to remember here. Keep your ear dry at all times. Put a cotton swab inside your ear canal at all times. Start with pain killers and then. Consult a good ent surgeon.

I am feeling dizziness quite often these days. Not sure if it's eye sight problem or some related to brain. Can anyone suggest some thing.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
I will suggest you undergo routine blood count, ESR, blood electrolytes, tests for vestibular (balance) system like electronystagmography or rotation tests to diagnose the cause for dizziness. Your local physician or GP will know about the test. He/she will order the test after complete history and thoroughly clinical examination like temperature, pulse, blood pressure which will enable us to arrive a diagnosis. Hope this will help you.

Is the tinnitus in one of your ears or both ears 3. any other ear problems like reduced hearing/ear discharge/ giddiness 4. are you taking any medicines for increased blood pressure 5. any history of trauma or exposure to loud noise at workplace [Automatically Added by Lybrate] You can consult with the doctor by clicking "Consult Dr. Shalaka Dighe" below.

This is tinnitus. Main cause is decreased hearing. Avoid using headphone and exposure to loud sound. Get a pta / tympanometry done. If hearing loss is found, you might get benefited by hearing aid. But, please keep it in mind that tinnitus is very hard to go thanks.
