In a day how much amount of proteins, minerals etc body need in a day. Please tell.
Protein requirement of an individual is as per ideal body weight. In your case it is 59 g/ day . You may consume plenty of colored whole fruits & vegetables/ leafy veggies (2-3 servings each) daily to meet the vitamin requirement. You can meet all the macro & micronutrient requirements on a daily basis by having a well balanced diet containing all 5 food groups- cereals, vegetables, fruits, pulse/meat & dairy products.

Hi sir. Beside my penis or half of my penis get a fungus on it so what should I do to recover it before some serious ...
Immediately contact to nearest homeopath consultant, thrush in men (male candidiasis) - candidiasis (thrush) is a fungal infection caused by yeasts that belong to the genus candida. There are many species of candida yeasts that can cause infection in humans, the most common of which is candida albicans. The following risk factors make candidiasis more likely antibiotics - recent broad-spectrum antibiotic use, which causes a change in the balance of the normal microbial flora. This upsets the balance and allows the candida to overgrow taking medication that suppresses the immune system such as chemotherapy or corticosteroids immunosuppression - weakened immunity reduces the body's defence against the fungus and so allows candida to thrive. Hiv infection is one example of something that weakens the immunity diabetes, particularly if poorly controlled. Higher levels of blood sugar allow a more conducive environment for the yeasts to thrive6 uncircumcised men with poor hygiene - men who have not been circumcised have a moist, dark, warm space underneath the foreskin that is favorable for yeast growth personal hygiene. Chronic local irritants such as bath foam, soaps, shower gels, lubricants, etc. Can irritate the penis and lead to fungal infection, which is more likely on damaged skin. Not drying carefully after washing is also a risk factor because fungus can thrive on the penis in warm, moist conditions poor nutrition receiving renal dialysis. Men with genital candidiasis may experience: 7 around the head of the penis: red skin swelling irritation and soreness itchiness inflammation white patches on the skin. Foreskin: thick, lumpy discharge under the foreskin, producing an unpleasant odour difficulty pulling back the foreskin (phimosis). Pain: when passing urine during sex. Good hygiene good hygiene prevents and helps treat thrush since yeast infections thrive in moist, warm places. Selection of shower gels help prevent or treat thrush by cleaning the penis regularly with plain warm water, ensuring it is dry afterwards. But avoid shower gels and soaps as they can worsen the problem in men with a foreskin, poor hygiene underneath it can lead to the build-up of a cheesy-looking substance called smegma that can cause irritation. Help to clear up an infection by washing the penis carefully with warm water - a shower is better than a bath avoid using perfumed shower gels or soaps on the genitals because they can cause irritation after washing, dry the penis carefully to deprive the fungus of the damp conditions that help it to thrive wear loose-fitting cotton underpants to help keep the skin and penis dry and cool.

Vitamin K - Facts You Never Knew About It!

Vitamins are essential micronutrients which the body requires, though in small amounts, for optimal health. These chemicals play a crucial role in keeping our body healthy and disease free. One such vitamin is vitamin K, which is essential for optimal blood clotting process, and also has multiple other benefits. More details about the functions, benefits and sources are listed below.

Functions/Benefits:

  1. Vitamin K is actually a group of vitamins and has K1, K2, and K3. The functions and benefits accordingly will depend on the actual chemical being referred to.
  2. These are fat soluble vitamins and therefore absorption is better when something fatty is eaten along with it
  3. Vitamin K1 or phyloquilline reaches the liver and is essential for blood clotting. Reduced levels of vitamin K can lead to uncontrolled bleeding, but this is very rare in adults. Newborns can have this problem, and therefore, it is common to give them a one shot of vitamin K injection.
  4. Vitamin K2 is produced by gut bacteria and reaches blood vessel walls and bones. It prevents hardening and calcification of arteries, which is the main cause of heart disease.
  5. It helps in improving calcium and other mineral concentration in the bones and makes the matrix strong. It can be used in osteoporosis to reverse and control bone loss. It can also be used to heal fractured bones.
  6. It slows the growth of cancer cells and can be used to stabilise cancer. It has been shown to improve multiple forms including hepatocellular, prostate, colon, and oral cancer.
  7. It is beneficial in controlling Alzheimer’s disease and improves memory loss in ageing people
  8. It improves insulin action and therefore prolongs onset of type 2 diabetes
  9. It has been shown to have antioxidant properties (as most other vitamins) and also helps in reducing toxin buildup
  10. It is good for skin health and can help control bruising and dermatitis

Sources:
Vitamin K is found naturally in many foods and the daily dose required for an adult is about 120 to 150 mcg/day. Therefore supplementation is usually not required.
Leafy green vegetables including spinach, okra, cabbage, beans broccoli, and asparagus

  1. Fermented foods like yoghurt
  2. Soybean in all forms including medium cooked as well and Japanese diet uses boiled, fermented soybean called natto, which contains tremendous amount of vitamin K
  3. Nuts, such as cashews, almonds, walnuts, are a good source
  4. Strawberries, grapes, prunes, and apples
  5. Seafood such as salmon and shrimp contain good amount to control heart attack and stroke.
  6. Meat (duck, beef, chicken, and lamb)

Supplements are to be avoided, especially in pregnant and/or nursing mothers and people with a history of stroke, heart disease, heart attack and blood clotting problems.

Hiv Treatment

MD - General Medicine
Sexologist, Delhi
Hiv Treatment

HIV treatment is done by antiviral drugs, there are number of antiviral drugs available in the market, usually HIV is treated with combination of drugs, usually two to three drugs are used in treating HIV in initial stage, we can change the combination of drugs according to requirement of the patient. Drugs can be adjusted or increased if there is resistance of HIV in the patient.

There are number of compounds (about 22 in number) which have been formally approved (by the US Food and Drug Administration) for the treatment of HIV infections (AIDS). According to their point of intervention with the HIV replicative cycle, these compounds can be classified in 5 categories: (1) NRTIs (nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors): azidothymidine, didanosine, zalcitabine, stavudine, lamivudine, abacavir and emtricitabine; (2) NtRTIs (nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors): tenofovir, administered as its oral prodrug form TDF (tenofovir disoproxil fumarate); (3) NNRTIs (non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors): nevirapine, delavirdine and efavirenz; (4) PIs (HIV protease inhibitors): saquinavir, ritonavir, indinavir, nelfinavir, amprenavir, lopinavir, atazanavir, fosamprenavir, tipranavir and darunavir; and (5) FIs (fusion inhibitors): enfuvirtide. Starting from the drugs which are currently available for the treatment of AIDS, numerous combinations could be envisaged. Drug combinations are, in principle, aimed at obtaining synergism between the compounds (reasonably expected if they act by different mechanisms), while reducing the likelihood for drug resistance development. Such anti-HIV drug combination regimens were initiated about 10 years ago and have been generally referred to as HAART (for highly active antiretroviral therapy). While HAART originally consisted of a pill burden of twenty (or more) pills per day, this has been gradually diminished over the past few years, and, since July 2006, a all-in-one pill (teevir from myelin and virotrenz from Ranbaxy sun pharma) has become available, which contains three anti-HIV drugs (tenofovir disoproxil fumarate 300 mg, emtricitabine200mg and efavirenz 600 mg) to be taken as a single pill only once daily. Given the information that has been acquired on the therapeutic use (efficacy, safety) of tenofovir disoproxil fumarate over the past five years, it would now seem mandatory to further consider the prophylactic use of TDF [and its combination with emtricitabine (Truvada) and/or Atripla], as a single daily pill to prevent HIV infection. New combinations of drugs are also available which include tenofovir 300 mg lamivudine 150 mg which are very new drugs.

Now a days we can treat patients who had sex with some sex worker or any male transgender or some unknown person and during sexual intercourse condom gets bursted , we can treat them if they come to us within 72 hours of direct contact, these medicines are called POST-EXPOSURE PROPHYLAXIS (PEP) drugs for HIV or prophylactic treatment for HIV, by using these drugs we can treat a patient and we can stop transfusion of HIV virus to the person.

PEP involves taking anti HIV drugs as soon as possible after having been exposed to unprotected sex with some sex worker or transgender or with homosexual PrEP is a new HIV prevention method in which people who do not have HIV infection take pills of medicine daily to reduce the risk of becoming infected with HIV virus ,PEP should be taken within 72 hours of exposure to unprotected sex before the virus has time to rapidly duplicate in your body, PEP consists of 2-3 antiretroviral drugs taken for 28 days.

Hii I am 32 years old married person I want to quit masturbation please consult me.

BHMS
Homeopath, Sindhudurg
Hii I am 32 years old married person I want to quit masturbation please consult me.
Here are the best ways on how to quit masturbation. Remove all the sources that trigger the urge to perform the act of masturbation such as block the websites which allows access to pornographic content. Some toys which trigger the body sexually to perform masturbation must be removed. Try to avoid staying up until late night. Avoid taking hot showers which may also trigger the urge to perform masturbation. Getting socially active is one of the important factors for controlling and quitting masturbation, as living alone promotes the activity of masturbation especially if a person is heartbroken with his relationship. Getting in a social group fills up the leisure time so that the person can optimally control such thoughts. One of the most important things is to try not to touch the intimate part of the body. To ensure this, spend more time in good company and not alone. If any other friend is also experiencing the issues, then it is always a good idea to quit the relationship or friendship. Masturbation also results due to excessive body stress or tension. Exercising regularly helps in relieving the body stress and tension. It is recommended to increase or double the exercise when a person feels depressed or stressed. Try to make the body to adapt abstinence. Initially try not to perform masturbation for a day, then gradually moves to days then weeks. A homoepath can help in finding if there are some underlying causes that entice you to perform masturbation so regularly. If there is some cause then appropriate treatment can be sought.

Foot Care & Eye Care In Diabetes

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
Foot Care & Eye Care In Diabetes

Diabetes can wreak havoc on the eye and the foot. Proper care is necessary in order to refrain from any serious consequences. It can damage the blood vessels and the nerves of the feet resulting in numbness and permanent disability. Some of the alarming foot symptoms include bruises, cuts, cracked skin and hard spots. Some of the common measures that need to be taken for foot include checking the temperature sensation of the foot by immersing it in hot water, drying the feet gently in between the toes and using agents such as lotion, lanolin, and petroleum jelly.

Some of the other preventive measure includes cutting the nails when they are young and straight to ensure no injury to the foot takes place. It should be ensured the toe is not touched by the nail of the toe. A pumice stone can be used to get rid of the corns immediately after a bath. No medicated pads or sharp razors should be utilised to cut corns. The feet should be soaked in warm water before trimming nails.

A shoe should be put on at all times to save the feet. The shoe sole should be thoroughly checked for foreign objects such as stones and nails to ensure that the foot is not hurt. Tight shoes should be strictly avoided in order to refrain from soreness and blisters. Dry and clean socks should be put up to ensure the foot is clean. For people living in cold area, wearing thick socks should be practised. This will help the foot protect from cold. Finally, a doctor should be called in case there are any visible signs of swelling, redness, cracks, pain or sensation of burning.

Too much blood sugar can cause harm to the eye in four ways: It can cause damage to the retina, lens, optic nerve and vitreous gel. There could be serious repercussions of diabetes to the eye including low vision and complete loss of vision. Diabetes blocks the retina and is capable of cutting off the total supply of oxygen.

Some of the common symptoms of retina related problems include double vision, a pressure in one eye, problems in corner vision, flashing lights, pain in the eye, blank spots etc. A simple check up by an oculist can reveal any eye problems related to diabetes.

An ophthalmologist can treat the diabetes-related eye problem by medicine that blocks the protein responsible for fluid leakage and blood vessel growth. He can also go for laser treatment to treat macular edema. Even scatter laser treatments are also used for this purpose. If all else fails a doctor chooses to perform a procedure known as vitrectomy.
