Natural Ways to Get Healthy Hair

Natural Ways to Get Healthy Hair

1. Olive Oil

Olive oil will also add body to your hair. Plus, it will help soften and strengthen your
tresses.

Massage your hair and scalp with warm oil and leave it on for at least 30-45 minutes. Risen it out thoroughly and wash your hair overnight and then shampoo your hair the next morning.

Another option is to mix olive oil with some honey and apply the mixture on your hair. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes and then wash your hair.

Use either of these remedies once or twice a week.

2. Fenugreek Seeds

Fenugreek seeds can also be used to prevent hair loss and enjoy better hair growth.

Soak two to three tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in water for eight to 10 hours. Grind the soaked seeds to make a fine paste. You can also mix two teaspoon of coconut milk in it. Apply the paste on your hair and scalp and allow it to sit for about 30 minutes before washing your hair with lukewarm water. When done weekly on a regular basis this remedy will prevent dry scalp and help you enjoy thicker hair.

3. Indian Gooseberry

The anti-inflammatory,antioxidant, antibacterial and exfoliating properties present in Indian gooseberry can help a lot in maintaining a healthy scalp and better hair growth rate.

Mix one tablespoon of Indian gooseberry or amla powder in two tablespoon of coconut oil and heat until boiling. Strain the oil and massage it onto your scalp before going to bed. The next morning, shampoo your hair as usual. DO this on weekly basis.

4. Aloe Vera

Another very popular ingredient that can be used to enjoy thicker hair is aloe vera, thanks to its moisturizing quality. It will also help restore the pH balance of the scalp.

Extract the gel from one or two aloe vera leaves and rub the gel onto your scalp. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes before rinsing your hair with lukewarm water. Do this once or twice a week on regular basis.

5. Henna Leaves

Another easy way to get thicker hair naturally is to apply henna. Henna leaves will give your hair a rich natural color and make it thicker, softer and less prone to breakage.

Grind a handful of fresh henna leaves with a little water to make a fine paste. Let it sit for two hours and then apply it to your hair. Cover your hair with a shower cap. After a few hours, wash your hair thoroughly and shampoo your hair.

Another option is to mix sufficient water in henna powder to make a paste with a yogurt-like consistency. Instead of plain water, you can also use green tea for better conditioning. Keep the henna paste aside overnight. The next day, add one raw egg and two teaspoons of lemon juice to this mixture. Apply it to your hair and leave it on until it dries completely. Finally, wash it off and shampoo your hair.

Note: Make sure to wear your gloves when using henna and apply the paste using a hair brush to avoid staining.

Halo sir. I am suffering from ringworm last 8 months in every parts of pubic area. I have consult doctors repeatedly but no use. please help me sir to cure permanently because it struggle me lot.

BHMS, Diploma in Dermatology

Hi sir, Skin is a THERMO-REGULATORY organ in our body. Basically whenever you have got allergens in your body through perspiration or sweating toxins automatically will thrown out. But when you get any skin disease it is actually because of lower immune response. First diagnose it is ringworm or any chronic disease like Eczema or psoriasis because our skin has deep layers beneath our skin like epidermis & DERMIS ,so when your allergy goes into deeper layer then ointments & antibiotics will suppress allergy so it's not permanently cured. So once go to a homeopathy doctor for better results for permanent cure.

I am a 26 years old female and have severe acne problem suggest me a good dermatologist in delhi.
These are the methods to treat fastly acne - • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. * Mix black pepper powder in some water to make paste & apply on the pimples three times a week. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day.

Oily Skin - How Can You Deal With It?

Oily Skin - How Can You Deal With It?

We all have different skin types. While some have dry skin, others have oily. So if you have oily skin, then here are 5 tips to keep in mind, to keep your skin oil free. Oily skin is usually a constant problem in every season since even after washing the face properly it becomes very oily after some time. And, if some cosmetic is applied, then also it makes no difference, the skin remains as oily as ever. Now dermatologists offer various solutions to this problem.  Even though you might come across home remedies like the sugar and lime scrub or yogurt, turmeric paste, it is always better to seek professional help for oily skin.

There are mainly 5 skin types:

1. Oily:  This skin type has too much oil, which can be seen on the face even after cleaning it.

2. Dry: The dry skin lacks essential moisture and looks very dry.

3. Normal: The normal type of skin is neither dry, nor too oily and not too sensitive also.

4. Sensitive: Sensitive type skin is very sensitive and is easily affected by weather changes or any other factor.

5. Combination skin: Combination skin is, in which some parts of facial skin are dry and others are oily. Use non comedogenic and powder based cosmetics.

Here we are going to deal with the oily skin type and its treatment. Oily skin appears to be greasy and teenagers often face the problem of oily skin during their puberty. Oily skin can also be caused due to heredity, diet, hormone levels, cosmetics usage and humid or hot weather. According to dermatologists, diet plays an important role behind oily skin. Consuming oily or fried food or having too much oil in your diet can be the reason behind your oily skin. Weather can also make your skin oily. Humidity especially causes the oil to come out of the pores and give your face a greasy look.

Tips to treat oily skin:

1.  Use a gentle face wash or cleanser and reduce the use of toner: Use a gentle face wash to wash your face at least twice a day to reduce the oil levels.  Also reduce the use of toner, and if you use toner then try using an alcohol free one.

2.  Keep yourself hydrated: Keeping yourself hydrated is very important as the face starts releasing oils if the skin is not hydrated properly.

3.  Try the home remedies carefully: You might not know the exact concentration of lemon in a sugar lemon scrub, as excess of lemon can cause allergic reactions. So apply home remedies with discretion.

4.  Use the cosmetics according to your skin type: Cosmetics are very important for a woman and if your skin is oily, it's better to choose non comedogenic and powder based cosmetics

5.  Consult a dermatologist for quick solution: We all know that a doctor knows the best cures to all our ailments, so try consulting your dermatologist for a quick solution to your problem of oily skin.

Hello, the cream you mentioned contains steroid in it. So it is not a good idea to continue the cream for longer period as you are using. It is better to shift to a safer non steroidal based applications. If use then could cause atrophy of skin and further damage. I suggest you to meet a dermatologist and get a proper medication prescribed. All the best.

I have low haemoglobin. Do I have to take iron tablets? Its been 2 months I don't feel tired or weak, but since then I started losing hair a little more hair than before.

I have low haemoglobin. Do I have to take iron tablets? Its been 2 months I don't feel tired or weak, but since then ...
Folic acid, a B-complex vitamin, is required to make red blood cells. So, a folic acid deficiency automatically leads to a low hemoglobin level. Some good food sources of folic acid are green leafy vegetables, liver, rice, sprouts, dried beans, wheat germ, fortified cereals, peanuts, bananas, broccoli and liver. u should eat iron tablets u need to take a balanced diet

Hello Sadly, grey hair is a problem with no treatment except coloring and camouflage. If yore not having any sort or itching or redness after applying the dye, there seems to be no problem with the products you're already using, The increased rate of grey hairs is probably because of the natural progression of the problem rather than the hair color. Try to get complete blood count and hemoglobin done for any deficiencies. And try to take supplements which contain PABA and calcium pantothenate daily like tablet hairbless.
