This is due to allergic rhinitis(allergy in the nose) that can be relieved by taking tab. Allegra-m daily 1 at bedtime, flomist/ezicas-f nasal spray 2 puffs twice a day and steam inhalation twice a day.

Dear lybrate-user, your mother should be advised to avoid cold water and use warm water, avoid smoke ie mosquito coil burning in the the rooms, no smoking in the house do not use wood/gobar for cooking. An allergy test under the guidance of an allergist followed by allergy immunotherapy for dust mites. Taking oral antihistamines at night for 4-6 weeks will be help ful. Thankyou.

Yes sure lasik is possible for you but that depends on what is power of your glasses. Doctors will do few tests n if those r ok then you can safely go for lasik surgery.

I have a problem of bleeding from the nose. It happens when I used to go out of my home. How can I get relief of this problem.

HI. This problem is due to increased amount of abnormal pitta dosha (heat) in a rakta (blood) dhatu. And because of this strength of capillaries in the nose decreases and they rupture consequently bleeding occurs. You have to follow some basic things, so that you get better results in a short period of time . 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal 4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods 5) avoid late night sleeping habits. 6) avoid day time sleeping. A) take 50 ml of AUDUMBARAVLEHA and 15 ml of honey along with 50 ml of lukewarm water early in the morning and at night before sleep. Along with this take 2-2 tablets of RAKTASTAMBHAK VATI (dhootpapeshwar company). B) take 2-2 tablets of MADHUMALINI VASANT and SUTSHEKHAR VATI after meals. C) instill 4-4 drops of CHANDAN BALA LAKSHYADI tail in each nostrils two times in a day. Do all these things for 7 days. This formulation is 100% effective, THANKS.

Penis size cannot be increased, unless you have hormonal problems size of penis varies from person to person, like other physical features like height etc. On an average, it ranges from 3.5 inches to 5.5 inches on erection. If your penis is within this range on erection, then don't worry. For female satisfaction only a small part of vagina (1-2 inches inside) is sexually sensitive. In pornographic films they show big penis by injecting drugs etc. Which is harmful, so most people have wrong ideas about penis size. Don't compare, if ever you have done so, with others. So you can do serum tsh and testosterone test.

Dear lybrate user, pcod (polycystic ovarian disease) is a disese of hormonal imbalance. Due to imbalanace in the ladies hormones you get small multiple nodules in the ovaries which is the main cause of infertility. It is genrally shown in fatty ladies. Due to excessive fat your digestive system and blood purify sysytem leads to hormonal imbalance. For that. Avoid fast food, junk food, oily food, soicy food, rice, potato, etc heavy food. Take easily digestible food like green leafy vegetables etc. Drink at least 3 litres of water in a day. Regular do yogasana /pranayama / deep breathing exercise etc to reduce stress and anger. This is the most necessary in this case. You must try to manage stress and anger. 100 steps walking immidiately after meal. Take dinner 2 hours before sleeping time. Take enough sleep. Regular walking for an hour 5 days in a week. You must try your best to reduce your weight. Take. Breakfast = 7 am to 8 am lunch = 12 noon to 1 pm dinner = 8 pm to 9 pm. Pcod is a such life style disease. Now a days obesity and stress increase the numbers of patients of this disease. So it is necessary for you follow above all instructions.

Take a bowl add 2 tablespoon of baking soda and add 1/4 cup of lemon juice to it. Mix it properly to make a thick paste. Apply the paste to the affected area. Let it dry for 5 -10 minutes. Once it dries take some water on your hand and slowly scrub the affected area on your face. Wash your face using luke warm water and pat dry. If your face becomes too dry then apply some antiseptic lotion or moisturiser.

Hello, this may be because of acidity/ indigestion/ gas you can take(if no drug allergy): 1. Tablet Meftal spas one tablet stat after food 2. Tablet Pantocid 40 mg before food once a day for 2-3 days. And follow care advises given below. Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. Kindly show me digital x rays of affected part.(ls spine) rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi lybrate-user here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit.

Few tips on diet for kidney disease - have a low protein diet (decrease in milk and its products and also decrease in the intake of pulses and nuts etc) - can use corn oil, sunflower oil, olive oil for cooking -decrease the intake of butter, ghee, cream, coconut etc - avoid farsan food items - whole grain cereals are best for carbohydrate intake - get your blood checked for electrolyte levels regularly and adjust salt in diet as per the report values.

I have bad breath problem since 6 yr. I have visited many dentists they said. There is no problem in my mouth although always have bad smell and taste in my mouth even dry mouth specially in the morning. I also feel bad smell coming out of my nose also. I brush twice still could not get rid of this problem. I do not thing scaling will help me as I have this problem for way long years.

Bad breathe could be due to other reasons also like gastritis or gastrointestinal conditions. As you said dry mouth. Dry mouth could be due to mouth breathing at night due to nasal blockage ultimately bad breathe. So go step by step for cure. Exercise properly to relieve your nasal symptoms and try and stop breathing from mouth. You could go for consultation with an ENT or laryngologist. You shoul take drugs for proper salivation but to some limited extent. Try retaining body fluid by drinking water and juices. Get your full body check up for vital organs like kidney liver thyroid heart etc. Go for a gastroentrologist for gastric gases which also emit bad odour due to nitogenous gases or sulfur gases. Do not panic. You are perfectly alright. If you care you should take care.

Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3 months.
