Hi, I am 29 years old I suffered from urine infection doctor advised to take a tablet ciplox and gastric tablet later...
Ciplox is an antibiotic and it has a fixed duration for which it is to be taken.(as advised by your Physician). Some gastric derangement is anticipated when prescribing an antibiotic and an antacid is usually prescribed along with it. So you should ideally wait a few days after completing the course of antibiotics for your tummy to settle down.

My mom is above 55 age. Her left leg is getting bent by the knee, Doctor its due to calcium. I do not know for sure, ...
Bent in leg can be due to spongy bones and this can be due to Vitamin -D and calcium deficiency and there are number of reasons for deficient calcium absorption in body and a few reasons are------ 1.Diet deficient in calcium 2.No proper sunlight intake 3.No calcium supplements intake after Menopause and after menopause calcium levels start depleting from body at a faster rate due to hormonal changes and this is the time when a woman should take extra care of her diet and supplements . So start taking a proper calcium and Vitamin-D diet but before this please go for following blood tests empty stomach immediately--------CBC,ESR,THYROID PROFILE,CALCIUM,VITAMIN-D.

My hair are so thin, I have regular hairfall from last 3 year and when I rub my hair some scalp are falling out. What should I do for stopping hairfall.

Diploma In Dermatology And Venerology And Leprosy (DDVL), MBBS

My hair are so thin, I have regular hairfall from last 3 year and when I rub my hair some scalp are falling out. What...
See main cause of hair fall & hair damage is due to infection in scalp skin, which easily goes into hairs follicles & its root and results in hair fall, thinning of hairs. For control on hair fall you have to control on infections, medicines takes time to remove infections due to less blood supply in scalp skin. It requires proper medicines and care.

Hi I m 34 and have hairloss and baldness problem. I want a best hairtransplant solution at best clinic.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hi I m 34 and have hairloss and baldness problem. I want a best hairtransplant solution at best clinic.
Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: We can prevent further hairloss and retain your existing hair with oral medication. Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Hairloss For hair transplant clinic, if you are in Delhi, many options are there like Advanced Hair Studio, Dr. A's clinic, Enhance, DHI, etc. They charge little more then outside but will give you good results!

Symptoms And Treatment Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease!

DNB (Respiratory disease), Fellowship Bronchoscopy, MBBS
Pulmonologist, Ahmedabad
Symptoms And Treatment Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease!

The lungs are made of tubes through, which air passes in and out for exchange of gases, taking in alveoli. It is a disease of alveoli to which finer air conducting tubes are attached. Over a period of time, with age and exposure to various agents, these tubules get obstructed. The amount of air that can pass through these is reduced, leading to reduced oxygen supply to the lungs and thereby the various body organs.

Symptoms
The symptoms of COPD can be easily understood if we realize how COPD is caused. The progressive blockage of the air tubes causes less oxygen to reach the tissues, which is the most essential agent for all tissues and organs to function. Reduced supply produces a generalized limitation in physical activity. There are two main components to COPD - chronic bronchitis and emphysema. The symptoms indicative of COPD are as follows:

  1. Chronic cough: Also referred to as smoker's cough, the cough is relentless and does not subside with regular cough treatment. This is one of the first indications of COPD.
  2. Mucus buildup: There is constant buildup of mucus which gets expelled during coughing. The person never feels completely clear of mucus, and the regular cough expectorants do not help relieve the symptoms.
  3. Fatigue associated with limited activity: As noted earlier, the reduced capacity of the organs limits their activities. Therefore, regular activities like walking short distances or climbing stairs can induce fatigue.
  4. Shortness of breath: The above fatigue is associated with shortness of breath, even with small physical exertion. A person with COPD will see marked tiredness and reduced ability to perform routine chores and feel a tightness in the chest.
  5. Wheezing: Passage of air through the obstructed air tubes produces a whistling sound or wheezing. It is more pronounced when there is mucus accumulation in the airways.

Rarely, Frequent respiratory infections, more frequent flu attacks, swelling of the feet and ankles, cardiovascular disease, weight loss, and morning headaches.

Treatment
While there is no cure for COPD, once it sets, the following are some ways to slow its progression and reduce severity of the symptoms:

  1. Bronchodilators: Dilate the air tubes and ease flow of air
  2. Corticosteroids: Help reduce inflammation and thereby improve airflow through the tubes
  3. Flu vaccination: Helps curb the frequent flu attacks
  4. Antibiotics: To contain infections
  5. Pulmonary rehabilitation: A combination of breathing exercise and patient education to improve lung function.
  6. Oxygen therapy: In very severe cases, oxygen may be required.
  7. Lifestyle changes: Eating healthy foods, preventing exposure to dust and smoke, quitting smoking, breathing exercises, bi-annual medical check-ups to monitor lung functions are essential. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Pulmonologist.
