Most common pain is knee pain.You may worry that exercising could cause more damage or pain. But the opposite is true: Strengthening the muscles that support your knee, and keeping them flexible, is the best way to prevent further injuries. Start slowly, and build your strength over time. Some muscle soreness is normal when you exercise. But you shouldn’t feel more pain, especially in your knee. If you do, stop and contact your doctor.

Hello doctor, I am 22 years old male , suffering from weakness in my legs. Earlier I used to sleep in a A.C. Room where I didn't feel comfortable. Firstly I thought that shiverness in my legs is the bad impact of A.C but even now when I am using a cooler for cooling then Also I feel shiverness in my legs. I feel suicidal for no reason, I often try to slit my wrist. What do I do to make these thoughts go away?
They are not just thoughts alone; there is a lot of unexpressed anger lurking within you that needs to desperately express itself. This anger is turned inwards and the result is this tendency to hurt yourself or terminate yourself. Whenever it seems that there is no specific reason, then it is bound to be something from early childhood that needs to be dealt with. Meet with a counselor and identify the feeling and thoroughly expend it out of your system. Your parents will know a lot of factors that may have contributed to this situation. Life is extremely precious and no one has a right to willfully end it unless there are very justifiable reasons. If you visit a geriatric ward in any hospital you will know the premium that is placed on survival, and how every possible way you can stretch life is attempted on frail and weak bodies that are in the twilight of their lives. You must also show that regard for your life, especially when you are that young and life is just beginning. You are obviously a bankrupt person spiritually: no spiritually sound person will contemplate suicide. Life is a gift of God and to be held in high esteem and preserved at all costs. You are probably depressed and when people are in that state, life looks miserable, hopeless, and futile. Depression can be resolved and if you have not used all the options to resolve depression, you would be inadvertently throwing away your precious life, never to get it back again. This life is an opportunity and since you have probably not utilized it well for various unfounded reasons please look at it with other people for other options and it will seem better. People who contemplate suicide are lonely people: just addressing that problem alone you will find good reasons to live. Failed or the threat of failed relationships are at the bottom of most suicides. A newer theory about suicide, devised by an American psychologist called Thomas Joiner, states that three main factors can cause someone to turn to suicide. They are: •A perception (usually mistaken) that they are alone and no one cares about them. •A feeling (again, usually mistaken) that they are a burden on others and that people would be better off if they were dead. •Fearlessness towards pain and death. Fearlessness poses the biggest risk that someone will commit a successful suicide attempt – they may fear the pain more than the fear of death. Go out there and conquer the world and don't ever let it get the better of you, ever.

1st of all avoid long time sitting, if you have maximum sitting sessions then try to change your positions. Apply some ice pack to the target area and follow some extension exercises. Take care.

Advice hot fomentation. Gentle stretching of hand muscles. Ball exercises. Wrist exerciser. Leg pain- for leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Right iliac fossa pain could be because of intestinal reasons, associated with liver, radiate from kidney, liver etc. For the time being pl take ajwain boiled in water and hing roasted in ghee and black salt. It will give relief. If problem persists, clinical investigations may be got done and reported for further advise.

You might have developed Shin splint. The most common site for shin splints is the medial area (the inside of the shin). Anterior shin splints (toward the outside of the leg) usually result from an imbalance between the calf muscles and the muscles in the front of your leg, and often afflict beginners who either have not yet adjusted to the stresses of running or are not stretching enough.  when shin splints strike you should stop running completely or decrease your training depending on the extent and duration of pain. Then, as a first step, ice your shin to reduce inflammation. Here are some other treatments you can try: Gently stretch your Achilles if you have medial shin splints, and your calves if you have anterior shin splints. Also, try this stretch for your shins: Kneel on a carpeted floor, legs and feet together and toes pointed directly back. Then slowly sit back onto your calves and heels, pushing your ankles into the floor until you feel tension in the muscles of your shin. Hold for 10 to 12 seconds, relax and repeat. Make sure you wear the correct running shoes for your foot type specifically, over pronators should wear motion-control shoes. Severe over pronators may need orthotics. Have two pairs of shoes and alternate wearing them to vary the stresses on your legs. Please visit a physiotherapist to identify and treat issues in your legs or running mechanics that may be causing pain. A therapist can also help ease the pain and guide your return to sport. Hello Prolonged working on laptop/TV/mobile can cause computer vision syndrome. Computer vision syndrome is a condition resulting from focusing the eyes on a computer or other display device for, uninterrupted periods of time. Some symptoms of cvs include a. Headaches b blurred vision c. Neck pain d redness in the eyes e. Eye strain f dry eyes sometimes watery eyes these symptoms can be further aggravated by improper lighting conditions. Measures to reduce this include 1. Work under proper light. 2. Blink a lot. 3. Cold compresses.

Sir your muscle pain could arise due to low vitamin d or b12 or elevated uric acid, so get your vitamin d3, vitamin b12 and uric acid levels and revert back with reports.

1. You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2. You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3. Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4. Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5. Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6. Take light dinner. 7. Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. Have a glass of warm milk at bed time. 8. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner. Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 9. Avoid late night. 10. Don’t sleep in day time 11. Don’t take sleeping pill 12. If no relief consult doctor.

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation piriformis stretch 1. Lie on your back. 2. Cross your left leg over your right so that your left ankle rests on your right knee. 3. Use your hands to grab hold of your left knee and pull it gently toward the opposite shoulder. 4. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds. 5. Relax, and then repeat with the other leg. 6. Repeat this cycle 2 to 4 times.

Your wife most probably has osteoarthritis with an acute inflammatory flare. The diagnosis needs to confirmed. If in fact she has osteoarthritis then she needs to be assessed for comorbidities and needs to be put on an intensive exercise program with control of pain using safe pain modfiying medications instead of pain killers.
