Is Whole Wheat Bread healthy?

Diploma in Clinical Nutrition, Certified Diabetes Educator, Diploma in Sport & Exercise Nutrition, Diploma in Human Nutrition, Lifestyle Medicine, BSC IN LIFE SCIENCES
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Bangalore

This is label of 2 bread brands of a very famous company. There is no difference in ingredients of brown and atta bread. There is only 32% whole wheat flour and rest is refined flour, including sugar, salt & vegetable oil (worst kind), additives and preservatives. So there is not much difference in white, brown atta, whole wheat & multigrain breads. In general, breads are not the best health foods to have.

How many and and how much soft and fizzy drinks can I drink in a day and what type of drinks arre good for health?
Soft and fizzy drinks are basically loaded with extra salt and sugar. Actually they donot have any health purpose but just to satisfy your taste. Instead go for coconut water. Fresh lime juice or fruit juice.

Hello lybrate-user, it is necessary to take proper medicines from a registered medical practitioner when a person is diagnosed with dengue. Depending upon the platelet count, the doctor will be able to decide if hospitalisation is necessary or not.
