Weakness is a result of lack of physical or muscle strength. If you are feeling that extra effort is required to move your arms, legs, or other muscles, it could also be a result of any disease, illness and too much activity at one time and not taking the food to match the amount of physical effort you are doing. Sometimes low levels of minerals (electrolytes), such as potassium or sodium also result in body weakness. Other important reason could be the problems with your thyroid gland. Because your thyroid gland is responsible for regulating the way the body uses energy. A low thyroid level can cause fatigue, weakness, laziness, weight gain etc. And a high thyroid level can cause fatigue, weight loss, muscle weakness etc. Sometime because of stress you may feel disinterest in your routine works. Since the reasons for your weakness are not known, I shall advise the following - 1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

Check the TSH level in blood.Do yoga,muscle building exercise which will help you to gain weight.Along with this eat extra foods 5-6 times.Add ghee,cream,butter etc with food.Take high calorie foods.Add extra oil in cooking.Avoid smoking,alcohol.These leads to weight loss.No water during meals.Use supplement.These will help you but for more quickresult consult me privately.

5 days before I get yoga name SIRSASAN. But after two days I felt pain in left chest .then I met with doctor. He get some. Test blood urine and chest x ray. everything is. Normal.and Dr. said only gas nothing else. But I feel so weakness and. Some.minor pain in left side. But an in problem I felt is weakness. What can I do doctor. What is cure option.

Kindly take vayu gulika or shankha vati, 2 tabs, twice a day after meals. Do full body massage with dhanavantaram oil, daily, before meals. Take daliya, khsichdi, moong daal soup in your diet regularly for 1 month. Avoid cold eatables, spicy food in your diet. Avoid cold water drinking. Good luck.

Even after a proper night there is weight issue with my body, regular two time food (5-6chapati , rice, cereal etc ) , 2-3 eggs alternate days, still there is no increase in my weight , What should I do now!

You need to have small frequent meals at regular intervals instead of 2 large meals. Have nutrient & calorie dense foods like almond milkshake, cheese omlette, paneer paratha, til chikki, peanut chikki, cream of mushroom soup, premix, malt with cow/buffalo milk & sugar, sugarcane juice, mango lassi, banana kheer, peanut butter, rice with ghee, thicker atta-maida rotis with ghee, soyabean cutlets, chicken roll, fish fingers. Drink 3 litres water daily but avoid water consumption with or just before meals. Take 15 mins light walk before main meals to increase appetite.

Why inject testosterone when you can gain weight naturally and scientifically. Also testosterone could have certain side effects like hair loss. Is it ok for you to lose all hair? gaining weight may be often more difficult and time consuming than weight loss. Often one ends up with wrong food choices when it comes to weight gain thinking we just have to eat to gain weight. But many times it does not help gain weight and one can succumb to other disorders of the body because of faulty eating. Hi lybrate-user never take supplements here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Hello lybrate-user, weight gain is the result of well balanced diet, physical activity for 30-40 mins 3-4 days/week preferably weight training and rest of 8-10 hours. All foods included in your diet should be power packed i. E giving you many nutrients and calories, also it should be high on proteins so as to help you in gaining muscle mass for better health and immunity. Examples-banana/mango/chickoo milkshakes with honey and nuts, paneer stuffed sandwiches/parathas, chikkis of peanuts/chana to be stocked with you as this can be conveniently had anywhere, dryfruits and mixed nuts. Overeating can lead to indigestion. Foods that boost the brain are- almonds, walnuts, flaxseeds, melon seeds, fish.
