Hello lybrate-user, health is defined as a relaxed mind and fit body. Its a holistic approach of well balanced diet, physical activity for 30-40 mins 3-4 days/week preferably weight training and rest of 8-10 hours. All foods included in your diet should be power packed i. E giving you many nutrients and calories, also it should be high on proteins so as to help you in gaining muscle mass for better health and immunity. Examples-banana/mango/chickoo milkshakes with honey and nuts, paneer stuffed sandwiches/parathas, chikkis of peanuts/chana to be stocked with you as this can be conveniently had anywhere, dryfruits and mixed nuts. Overeating would harm more than help as it would lead to burning excess calories to use the food eaten leading to wastage of energy and in the bargain you might lose weight. If you have tried all of it then you can consult your doctor and undergo a check-up for any hormonal imbalances.

Hi 1) take 10 ml of fresh lemon juice, ginger juice and 1 tsf of jaggery along with 60 ml of water early in the morning on empty stomach and after meals, do this for 30 days, it gives you good result, yes it is bad to health of heart so try to reduce these values. Thanks.

I am a 64 years Male , having ED problem and low libido ,Went to urologist and they gave me medicines for anxiety and got my testosteronelevels checked they were normal , Can you help?

Dear lybrate user...There is a gradual decline in erection and libido with age and this is a normal physiological response of the body. Having normal testosterone levels suggest that you have no organic problem as such. Certain mind-body functions are not under our will and having inadequate erection or libido sometimes during sexual intercourse is normal. But if the next time of sexual intercourse we start thinking about the past failed attempt than it causes anxiety and may lead to a failed attempt again. This may gradually become a vicious cycle of anxious attempts and failed or insufficient results. Thus my advise to you would be to just forget about having an adequate erection and enjoy being with your partner at that moment. Also less desire can lead to insufficient erection, so you need to do more of foreplay before actual intercourse. Also there are many aphrodisiac food stuffs and medications which may be used to increase the sexual desire. Remaining sexually abstinent for a few days say 2 to 3 days may also help. I have earlier also asked for the help on Lybrate but didn't got satisfied help. I have lost few hairs on my front side of hair ND can see scalp clearly. Thanks for query, now a days cases of female balding are on increase & are mainly due to either stressful daily routines or hormonal problem. Through blood test hormonal level is estimated & if level is normal then hair transplant be done.

Hello, it appears that hypothyroidism is not in control. On treatment tsh should be between 3 to 4 milli units/ l. Then only symptoms are in check. Dose thyroxine has to go up. Then she will feel better.

Hello Lybrate-user Always remember what goes in your body, shows on your skin. So maintaining a healthy diet and physical activity level is very important. Some of the effective home remedies for clear skin are- 1-Detox Water-2 liters water+ sliced 1 cucumber+sliced 1 lemon+ a handful of mint leaves- mix everything and keep on sipping it entire day 2-Coconut Oil- you need virgin coconut oil and Cotton ball or cotton pad Lightly warm up the oil. Dot the oil all over the skin with your fingertips and massage the area for a minute or two. Let the oil soak in for a couple of minutes. Wipe away the excess oil with a cotton ball/pad Coconut oil is an excellent natural moisturizer for the skin. Its antimicrobial properties will keep the skin clean and infection-free. The phytochemicals present in it are powerful antioxidants that scavenge free radicals and impart a natural and healthy glow to your skin 3-Apple Cider Vinegar You need- 1 part apple cider vinegar 1 part water Cotton ball Mix the vinegar with water and soak the cotton ball in it. Apply this on the skin and leave it on overnight. Wash the area as usual in the morning. You can also add a teaspoon of ACV to a glass of water and drink it every morning. Do this every night before going to bed. The acids present in ACV exfoliate the dead skin cells and reveals a fresh and healthy layer of skin cells. ACV is also an astringent and will prevent your pores from getting infected and inflamed 4-Green Tea Daily consumption of green tea is recommended for a healthy body and also for healthy and clear skin. Green tea is full of antioxidants that will nourish, heal, and detoxify your body. The condition of your body from the inside is reflected on your skin. Green tea is also good to reduce blood cholesterols levels and maintain optimum heart and bone health 5-Lemon Take a lemon and cut it in two halves. Take one half and rub it directly onto your skin in a circular motion. Do this for five minutes. Rinse your face with cold water Lemon juice is a rich source of vitamin C, which helps in skin lightening. This remedy helps you to get rid of spots and blemishes and paves the way for clear, flawless skin 6-Honey On a clean and dry face, apply a thin layer on the skin. Let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then, rinse with lukewarm water. Repeat this every day for glowing and clear skin. Honey contains vitamins and minerals that nourish the skin. It also contains antioxidants, called flavonoids, which give you youthful and glowing skin. Its cleansing properties will keep the skin pores clean 7-Aloe Vera Take a leaf from the aloe vera plant Remove the thorny sides and the green outer covering from the aloe vera leaf. Cut the gel into small cubes. In order to use the gel, you can either grind the cubes to a pulp or rub the cubes directly onto the skin. Include the aloe vera remedy in your daily skin care routine for spot-free, flawless skin. Aloe vera is known to have skin-friendly and antiseptic properties. It is a well-known moisturizer and helps in clearing the skin of blemishes and spots 8-Olive Oil You need- Extra virgin olive oil Soft washcloth Hot water Take a few drops of this oil, and apply it thoroughly on the skin. Follow this up with a gentle massage in circular motions. Leave it on for a few minutes. Then, wipe it off using a washcloth dipped in hot water. Repeat this every night before going to bed. Olive oil contains vitamin E that hydrates the skin and restores its freshness and elasticity (13). The oil will absorb all the impurities, leaving a clean and clear skin 9-Oatmeal You need- 2 tablespoons oatmeal 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon honey Mix all the ingredients to form a thick paste. Add a little water if required. Apply this mask on the face and neck, and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Apply this mask twice a week. Oatmeal soothes the skin and exfoliates the dead skin cells. It also moisturizes the skin, thus keeping it at its optimum health. The anti-inflammatory compounds and antioxidants found in oatmeal are added benefits for the skin 10-Rose Water- Place the rose water in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Apply it all over a clean face and neck using the cotton ball. Let it air dry. Moisturize as usual 11-Potato Cut the potato into round slices. Take a slice and rub it onto your skin in circular motions. Rub the slices for five minutes and wash it off with cold water. Follow this routine once daily for best results. Potatoes contain natural enzymes that have bleaching properties. Hence, using a potato slice for treating spots, blemishes, and discolorations can help you get clear, flawless skin 12-Turmeric Mix two tablespoons of turmeric with water to make a thick paste. Apply this paste over your face. Let it stay on for about five minutes. Then, rinse your face with cold water Turmeric is a natural antiseptic and is widely used to treat minor cuts and wounds. It also has skin lightening properties due to which it can get rid of those spots and blemishes 13-Tomato Make a pulp of the tomato and mix it with two teaspoons of rose water. Apply this mixture on your face and keep it on for 10 minutes. Wash your face with cool water and pat dry with a soft towel. Apply this pack to your face and skin daily to reap maximum benefits. Tomato has antioxidant properties that keep the skin youthful and also help in lightening spots and blemishes on the skin Additional Tips To Get Clear Skin Apart from the home remedies listed above, here are a few tips to get radiant and spot-free skin. Drink Water – Drink lots of water. It will flush out all the toxins and help maintain your skin’s hydration levels from within. This will help you get clear, glowing skin. What is the symptoms of angina pectoris and what is the treatment for angina pectoris.

Recurring pain on left side of heart which is not severe. Treatment is tablet sorbitrate to be put under the tongue and not to be swallowed. Soluble aspirin tablet also helps. Angina doesn't cause damage to heart muscle but person should get examined for blockages in blood vessels of heart to know the further course of treatment depending upon the numbers of blockages and extent of blockages. Either baloon therapy or a bypass heart surgery. One cannot go on suffering from angina.

Diabetes - 5 Complications Associated With It!

Diabetes is a serious disorder which happens when your body has an unreasonably high level of blood sugar, which further leads to harmful effects. Diabetes has a wide variety of complications associated with it, and they start to build up slowly and gradually. Some of the common complications are:

  1. Retinopathy - In simple words, diabetes leads to eye damage by making the eye exposed and prone to severe eye disorders like cataracts and glaucoma. If you have retinopathy, then you may also have face the consequence loss of vision or permanent blindness.
  2. Skin conditions - During diabetes, your skin health is bound to degrade to a large extent. Your skin will become thin in texture and more prone to cuts and breakages due to internal skin cell damage. Thus, the skin gets more exposed to the bacterial and viral infections and its healing process also slows down as the cell division takes longer than usual.
  3. Nephropathy - Nephropathy refers to kidney damage which is caused due to diabetes. The kidneys act as a filter system to the body and they filter out waste materials from the blood. Diabetes causes damage to the blood vessels of the kidneys which may further result in serious kidney disorders and may increase the risks of a sudden kidney failure.
  4. Cardiovascular diseases - This means that if you are having excessive diabetes, then you are at a risk of having a major heart attack or a heart stroke. Additionally, increased blood sugar levels also lead to other heart-related diseases like chest pain, narrowing of arteries etc.
  5. Neuropathy - It is a complication related to the nervous system of your body. The complication generally occurs in the legs as there is a numbness, burning or tingling sensation in the legs. This happens due to the extra sugar in the body, which damages the walls of the blood vessels. In the worst case scenario, you can lose sensation in the legs.

However, it is always desirable that you go and consult a doctor if the conditions persist for a longer time. Additionally, you can also depend upon some domestic care measures to bring your blood sugar levels under control.

I'm suffering from height problem. I want to increase my height. So please give me some suggestions.

Dear, follow methods by which you can gain your desired height. 1. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly. 5. Take 1/2 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder with milk once a day.
