Sir, if the wisdom tooth is visible and in line with other teeth you can go for root canal, due to its posterior position it gets difficult to get the success rate better to get it removed. No implant in that region.

You would have come across the any hair line fracture of jaw or ligament tear at the time of injury. It will on its own now, avoid opening the mouth too much, hot fomentation of jaw joints is advisable 3 times daily using towel soaked in warm water.

Dear lybrate-user. Thanks for the question. A mouthwash or rinse does not replace a regular oral hygiene routine of twice-daily tooth brushing and daily flossing. And your dentist may prescribe a specific mouth rinse or mouthwash if you are recovering from a fungal infection or a bout of gum problems. Even salt water is a mouth wash. Take care.

Hi, This is Bikash. I have gums problem. It bleeds while brushing and also I have bad breath.
Hello Mr. lybrate-user Gum bleed with bad breath is most commonly present because of improper dental hygiene. Kindly change your toothbrush every 3 months and brush your teeth twice daily, floss daily, say no to tobacco, Drink plenty of water. Gingivitis is very common gum disease that is caused due to poor brushing technique and poor oral hygiene. You may also develop pain in gums due to this but do not worry, just eat well, take vitamin C- carrots, pomegranate, citrus fruits, guava, oranges etc to keep your gums healthy.

Use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! Brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - Floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - Control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - Rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean. Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth. - Stay away from smoking and other tobacco products, which can aggravate bleeding gums. - Eat a balanced diet and limit snacking between meals. Carbohydrates and sugars feed dental plaque. - Try an oral irrigation device, commonly known as a "water pick, to clear debris from around the gum line. - You may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person.

Hello lybrate-user, occurence of a mouth ulcers can be due to hundreds of reasons. Do you know, mouth ulcers can be due to stress. A very little change in your food habits can cause ulcers. Everyone is the only good physician for one's own body. You have to watch you and you have to find the cause. Once the underlying cause is removed you can be free from ulcers. For now the solution may be taking B-complex supplements for a minimum period of 7 days. Rinsing your mouth with a prescribed oral rinse and topical application of some gum paint.
