Hello Lybrate user weight loss is not an easy task you need to be very determined and sincere to follow the plan. The one mistake that most people make is not taking fats at all resulting in becoming weak less energetic and bloated. Do not go for low carb diet it will make you more bloated. You should eat protein rich diet and fats what you have to be careful about is do not increase your carbs levels than your proteins. Protein uses up the carb for digestion and fats after digestion gives you energy. So you need everything just do not eat too much at a time. Have a heavy filling breakfast than keep reducing the size of your meals ahead of the day. You should notice a visible difference in a month. And at last but not leat try practising yoga regularly. Follow methods by which you can gain your desired height. 1. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. 1. Stay busy and focused by engaging in activities like playing games/sports, learning music/painting etc. 2. Find new hobby like cooking, gardening, writing, public speaking 3. Eat healthy diet 4. Volunteer your time by doing social work like tutoring needy children/ working at shelter home and rendering free service, raising money for a good cause 5. Avoid loneliness, socialise with friends/relatives 6. Stop watching porn in computer/moble 7. Develop will power, determination to stop practicing 8. Don't have guilty consciousness since it is normal and a healthy way of relieving sexual tension if done in moderation (1-2 times/week) 9. Get adequate sleep (7-8 hours daily) 10. Take plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits and have balanced diet. Avoid oily/spicy/fried/junk food. Try to have vegetarian food. Observe fasting for 1-2 days in a week 11. How much alcohol can someone over 50 safely drink, and does our tolerance change with aging?

There is a certain safety limit for alcohol, and for adults it is usually around 80mg. However for a person over 50mg there could be further restrictions due to possibility of metabolic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, depression etc. Also alcohol can be a contraindication for people with compromised liver status like cirrhosis, fatty degenerations, hbv infarction in past etc. So it would be more appropriate to discuss above issues before deciding any safe limits. Anyways alcohol is not a necessary element for maintaining good health. Avoiding alcohol is a healthier option. Take care.
