You need to correct your diet wherever it’s going wrong. Focus on higher protein intake, lower fat and restrict carbohydrates to high fibre foods only. Avoid simple sugars as far as possible like sugar, jaggery, honey, sweets, candies, chocolates, cold drinks etc. 'Eat Out' less, avoid junk and have good quantity of fresh foods which are not processed like fruits, vegetables, soups, salads, nuts, low fat milk, curd etc If you need us to help you with proper customised Diet plans for weight loss, you can opt for our online program or contact us through Lybrate' private consult'

Hi doc, I'm 35years old &suffered from diebeties.My postperidial blood sugar levels are near about normal but my fasting levels are too high.So kindly suggest me how it can be control. & please suggest me diets. Fruits & vegetables. Pomegranate can tke it in diebetis.

Hi my age is 29 (men) old, height 175 cm, weight 85 kgs. I will be going to gym daily, running, cycling, workout I will do weekly 6 days. I have knee pain from many years, I went for checkup doctor after so many tests he said everything is fine you don't have strength on your knees so you are getting pain. So could you please suggest what to do for this. He said stop running on thread mill do cycling, walk daily. I will be following strict diet also daily morning oat meal, 2 eggs per day, 2 cups of green tea, milk per day. Only in the after noon I will have rice, no sweets, slight oily, daily night 1 banana, chapati with curd. Please suggest me what to do. I will get severe pain while climbing stairs.

- there could be deficiency of vit d, have to checked it yet. - avoid thoses exercises at gym which puts more stress to your knee joint. - to increase quads muscle strength you can do isometrics at home.- simply with your knee straight and back supported, place towel roll beneath your knee joint and press it till you count 30, than releive. Repeat the same for 10 times for 2- 3 times per daily .do this exercise atleast 10 days .there are more exercises which need to be done by theraband.

Hello,take homoeopathic medicines 1.Thuja 1M (4 drops in little water) only one dose (on 1st day) After that ( on 2nd day) 2.Baryta Carb 200 (4 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days. Things to do 1.Daily body stretch for 2 minutes early morning.This can be done by standing on your fingers of feets,arms joined upwards.,looking upwards while stretching yr body upwards. 2.Do Yoga 3.Make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. 4.2 glass milk daily 5.Green leafy vegetables in diet 6.Avoid stress and anger.

You need to visit a psychiatrist. After 1 or 2 sessions the psychiatrist can roughly predict the time for recovery and duration of treatment. All the best.

I am a 35 years old female, and I have backache, tiredness, leg pain continuously for last 2 months. What should I do?

Stiffness & pain in back & other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.
