If getting quality sleep is something that you may not be experiencing regularly, you need to take steps to correct it. Sleep improves your health and revitalizes your body allowing your body to be refreshed and energetic.

In today's world, getting quality sleep has become a luxury due to various factors like excessive work and the internet. There are certain tips, which you may follow to improve the quality of your sleep. Some of them are:

  1. Limit caffeine intake: Drinking too much coffee stimulates the body making you energized and thus hampering your ability to fall asleep. Aim to avoid coffee at least 5-6 hours before you go to sleep.
  2. Follow a sleep schedule: You should make it a habit to go to bed and wake up at the same time on a regular basis. This will allow you to fall asleep easily as the body's internal sleep cycle is reinforced, thus facilitating better sleep.
  3. Try to create a comfortable environment: Comfort is an important factor when it comes to sleep. A proper environment with comfortable clothing allows you to relax and experience better sleep. Make sure the room is dark, cool and quiet to help you fall asleep faster.
  4. Pre-sleep routine: You may follow a ritual before you go to sleep on a regular basis as this may help in preparing the body for sleep. Taking a bath or engaging in mediation for a few minutes are wonderful practices to follow before you sleep.
  5. Exercise on a regular basis: You should exercise on a regular basis as this will allow you to sleep better. Exercises also releases endorphins that improves your overall wellbeing.
  6. Reduce stress: Aim to reduce stress as this will allow you to sleep better. Stress may cause anxiety and insomnia which may impair your sleep.
  7. Eat light meals for dinner: Eating carbohydrates laden meals for dinner may hamper your digestion and cause problems in your sleep. So eat light meals and preferably two hours before you go to bed.

It is difficult to suggest a diet for you since I am not aware of your food habits and patterns. However I will attempt to give some general tips for weight loss. 1. Aim for fitness and weight loss will follow. 2. Eat low calorie fruits / foods / salads one hour before every meal. 3. Cut down drastically portion size. Order less, take less, eat slowly. 4. Drink lots and lots of water through out the day. 5. Do 40 minutes intensive exercise daily. 6. Cut down all colas, juices, liquor from your diet. 7. Stay active and take a fitness challenge and work towards being fit for life.

While marriage is one of the most sought after relationships, it also is a very tricky one. A high level of compatibility is felt when you meet that one person with whom you are ready to spend the rest of your life with; sparks do fly and you feel you have just found the right person for you.

However, over a period of time, things do change. What was once cute or romantic does not continue to appeal the same way after a while. Knowing a person completely is an ongoing process, and even after marriage, especially if you move into a joint family. Knowing the person before beginning to live with the whole bunch is very important, as this helps in improving the understanding and increases the much required emotional space.

Not just that, people also do change with time and a relationship has to move to the next level too. Issues arise when people do not realise that and continue to expect things to remain unchanged rosy and romantic forever. What is surprising is that taking a step back and looking at the relationship objectively can help salvage the relationship in a number of cases.

The following are some situations when post-marriage counselling can bevery helpful.
1. When silence reigns: When a couple who would spend hours on the phone chatting away resort to silence for a major part of their time spent together, it is time to revisit the relationship. Getting external help is one of the best ways to tackle this, as talking to a friend or a family member can help get some insight.

2. When the couple just coexists: After a while, there seems to be something lost between the two, with only the same physical space being the common factor. There is a clear lack of intimacy, which can be brought back by getting someone else to talk.

3. For the children’s sake, let’s stay together: Although children help in strengthening the bond of the couple, they should not be the only reason for a couple to stay together. For a child, staying with a single parent may be more beneficial than staying in a family where the couple is constantly fighting. Here again, external help may be useful.

4. When there is the ‘other’ person: After the charm of marriage wears out, it is common for either of the couple to look for company outside the marriage. If an affair is being suspected, it is advisable to seek external help to clear the air and to save the relationship.
A marriage can easily be saved, the only thing required is a fresh pair of ears and eyes to hear and look at it from all perspectives. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Psychologist.

1.Choose a sun screen with a SPF of greater than 30 when going out door 2.Avoid exposure to bright sun light 3.Drink plenty of water 4.Use sun screen lotion 5.Take plenty of fruits and vegetables 6. Take Vit B12 supplement 7. Avoid stress 8. Apply topical de pigmentation agent like 25 hydroquinone/Tretinoin ointment after consulting skin specialist. If no relief, then micro dermabrasions Natural method of Treatment 1.Mix equal parts of lemon juice and raw honey, apply it over affected area, cover it with warm towel for 15 minutes and then rinse off 2. Apply a paste of turmeric powder and lemon juice to the affected area 3. Keep a slice of cucumber on affected area and wash it off after 30 min 4.Make a paste by mixing sandal wood powder and rose water, apply it on affected area and leave it for 20 min. Wash it with lukewarm water.

Thanks for your query. There is no other way than going back to braces. You have done a big mistake by not using the retainers. So consult your orthodontist and get it treated. I hope I have answered your query. Take care.

Diet related insufficiency: iron rich food should be taken. Particularly those with green leaves (sting netle, parsley, green onion, coriander, spinach, rocket leaf…), dried organic fruit (apricot, figs, grapes), almonds, molasses, honey.Adding black cumin (very high in iron) to deserts made of sugar obtained from sugarcane help (especially in liver patients). Fresh apple juice, pomegranate juice (which has high vitamin c levels and increases iron intake) should be taken. Fruit juices should be consumed on an empty stomach and you shouldn’t eat anything for the next 1-1.5 hours. Fresh carrot and red beetroot can be sliced and taken with lemon juice on it. (ladies can take it more at times of mensturation). Take 100 ml of spinach juice for 2 weeks.

Looking at your condition your doctor has rightly put you on a sulfonurea (glimer). A proper measure for knowing and managing your diabetes will be to ensure a hba1c below 6.5%. My guess is you would be around 7.2-7.5%. Regarding diet, we indians have high carbohydrate diet. You have to closely observe your plate and you can come up with a better diet plan for yourself. To simplify it, identify the items which are carb rich in your plate and try to compensate the same with protein and fibres, for eg cut down a roti and increase sabji, dal or salad. To have a better control you can do a monthly self glucose monitoring 3 times a day and keep a track of your food with it. Check fasting sugar, sugar one hour prior your lunch and 2 hrs post lunch, and note down the details of your breakfast and lunch items. Modify as per my earlier suggestions and within a week you will see your blood sugar level responding.

Just see lybrate-user, you are 22 and your weight is just 39 kg whereas your minimumweight should be 52 kg, means you are apprx, 13 kg underweight whereas your breast have developed normally and thatswhy your breast looks bigger according to your body, a really awkward position for you, I understand but rather than to try to decrease your breast size you should apply stepss to increase your weight and by putting 10 kg in next 3-4 months will stabalise your looks w.
