There are many possibilities for a single problem in terms of human health which a doctor rules out at the time of clinical examination and by relevant investigations. Like in your case it could be: 1. Any inflammatory condition of knee joints. 2. Varicose veins around knee joint. 3. Thyroid disorder. 4. Deposition of crystals as in gout. 5. Calcium or vitamin deficiency. It could be anything, every disease has its own pecularity which a doctor percieves and makes the diagnosis. So better see an orthopedic surgeon.

Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem kindly follow advises given below: you can take: 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4. We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis consult physician for further management.

Im having pain on my left knee since last 3 months. Am only 25 years old and am a mother a a 2 years old child. It's difficult for me to climb stairs or stand for a while even I can't sit on vehicles for long time. I feel a ball-like thing inside my knee while this pain is high. I can't press on the ball-like thing because it increases the pain. I consulted ortho, he asked me to take 1.2T MRI scan. Is there any other solution for me. What is my problem?

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

Visit any physiotherapily centre an take proper treatment for it. Since you have irritation n pain in left side of head , you must be having spasm in neck muscles. Take hot pack and do stretching exercises of neck.

Rule out High Blood Pressure or any other Kidney Problem Do hot fomentation Keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take IBUPROFEN 200mg OD & SOS x 5days CALDIKIND PLUS (mankind) 1 tab ODx10days Do knee exercises It may have to be further investigated Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. You will need other supportive medicines also. Do ask for detailed treatment plan.. Don’t ignore..It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Dear lybrate-user, namaskar, you must do some sort of physical exercises in the morning or evening. Say for about 45 minutes. Also learn meditation. You should try to concentrate with deliberation on your respiration when you go to bed. Once you are trained. Your problem will go away. Take care.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Tk muscle relaxant medicine and heat fermentation twice a day if it work then ok otherwise tk physiotherapy treatment. Avoid long standing toward bending long sitting lifting heavyweight, etc.

I am a 27 years old female. 3 problems- 1. Sometimes under my feet it seems like fire and sometimes it seems like crack in my feet. 2. Sometimes my hand fingers are struck (not possible to bend), 3. Both arms become very tired even not done any work / work just 10 minutes.

This is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take bio d3 max 1tab odx10days ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days do neck & back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Use of cervical collar will give you relief. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

There is nothing to do with medicines for limping it is purely pathological and poor rehabilitation a good rehabilitation on advise of surgeon's (who operated on ur- thr) and gait training exercises may correct to certain extent as it is 2 1/2 years old of post surgery weight should be 62 kg is ideal for you.

Hi there are various causes for ankle pain like. Mechanical pain (improper foot wear), tendonitis or planter fascities. For pain. -apply ice, -do stretching of calf muscles, -wear proper footwear -do reply for detailed treatment plan. Best wishes.

It might be of plantar fascitis do not worry have ust physiotherapy treatment for 10 days of 15 minutes duration along with hot water with rock salt into it for fomentation thrice a day for 7 days of 15 minutes duration followed by normal water fomentation for 5 mins.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.
