You may take zoridol Mr. Twice a day for five days. Apply mustard oil mixed with camphor and do massage of your shoulder. Do neck exercises clockwise.

Get an xray or mri done to know the exact cause - meanwhile - gentle massage over the affected part with lukewarm herbal pain relieving oil for 20 minutes followed by hot fomentation. It will relax the muscles and the veins of your affected part improving the blood supply to the organ and giving strength to it. Please avoid over-use of the part affected i. E. Lifting weight - pushing or pulling heavy objects. Give proper rest to the part - let it heal with the time. This will greatly help. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. Please update with your valuable feedback after 15 days.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Ofcourse. Consult an orthopedic surgeon. Till then you may take homoeopathic medicine Arnica Montana 200 1 dose And Hypericum 30 tds for 1 week. It should help.

Most likely you have strained your shoulder blade muscle. Try hot water bottle + volini gel. If you don't feel better, go for 4-5 Physiotherapy sittings.

Gentle Shoulder Stretching. Core Strengthening Exercises. Gentle Neck Exercises. Avoid sleeping on affected side. Warm up and cool down is a must. Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment shoulder is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the shoulder with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

My right arm has been hurting for the past two weeks now. The pain only occurs when I move my hand in a particular way else in a resting position it doesn't hurt. Guess I slept on my arm. The pain is like a nerve pull. What could be the reasons for the pain and what do you suggest?

So Rest to affected part, Ice packs at home, physical therapy under supervision of a physiotherapist and gentle anti inflammatory medication like Tab Etoshine or Tab Paracetamol or whichever suits you should be sufficient to help you get rid of this pain, but it may take 2-3 weeks. I am 40 years old male, diabetic, wt-75/ht-175 fasting 120, pb-170. I occassionally play tennis and regularly hit gym or jog 7. 5kms. There was a small pain on my right shoulder, this pain would become very severe for a short time while playing tennis or due to some sudden action by the right hand. This pain does not pro long for long time.

My Father aged 58 is suffering from a condition in which he feels stain and pain when he walks in his left leg. We approached to Neurologist where after MRI he said that it is Cauda equine syndrome and asked to undergo minor surgery to relive the pressure upon the particular nerves. But we afraid to undergo operation as it may create some other problems too. Please advise.

Hi Well, I can tell you that if it is cauda equina syndrome, then it is advisable to undergo surgery decompressing the spinal canal and the roots because if it is not done, then it can lead to a permanent neurological deficit and bladder and bowel involvement. The question is what surgery is to be done and that will actually depend upon a thorough clinical examination and study of the investigations. So if you can send me the investigations and detailed neurology, I can see and advise you accordingly
