If you pass urine frequently you need to examine urine for infection and take appropriate antibiotic ... Alkasol is not for frequent urination

I have itching and pain in the anal region. Is it the symptoms of piles or anything else.

MBBS, MS - General Surgery, FIAGES
General Surgeon, Gurgaon
Hi piles or fissure can be painful and it an cause bleeding .you need to consult a surgeon who after examination would confirm the diagnosis and plan further treatment. Conservative measures like sitting in warm water that's is sitz bath ,taking laxatives like isabghol ,eating high fibre diet will solve your problem immediately ,but giving only temporary relief .definitive treatment for piles is surgical management .laser treatment for piles is definitive management .it is painless ,10 min procedure which solves your problem permanently. Post surgery you will be on proper diet chart and certain pelvic floor excersizes will be taught to you ,to avoid constipation in long run .we are the only centre doing laser surgery at Gurgoan .you can also contact me through Lybrate for any further details.

Sir, I have 6 mm stone in Both kidney, Can it Remove through Urination? And How? What Care I take? Please Answer only...
Dear Lybrate User, A kidney stone is mainly formed due to the accumulation of the minerals present in urine. Such accumulation occurs mainly due to low intake of fluids. Continuous low fluid intake results in the deposits of the minerals over the stone & eventually leads to an increase in the size of the stone. Formation of stone leads to pain along the kidney region. If the size of the kidney stone is below 3mm then it is possible to get rid of it without any surgery. Take Homoeopathic Mother Tincture BERBERIS VULGARIS Q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water for 15 days. The stone will be expelled through urine in between the span of 15 days of medication. But if the size of the stone is more than 3mm then you should surely go for surgery.

Retention of urine is not indicative of any infection but just to ruled out the infection blood test need to be done but first clinical symptoms would be matter of concern, retention is not the sign of infection but it may be sign of obstruction.
