According to ayurveda, for treatmnet of obesity, you firstly stop causative factors from your life style. Like drinking too much cold water, eat too much sweets, day sleep, water after meal, lack of exercise, curd, menda etc. I will need your detail history. Till you can follow this * start drinking hot water * stop day sleep * start any exercise in morning, like suryanamaskar, walking, joging, sports * drink juice of turmeric n ginger with honey * take jau barley, instead of ghenhu wheat. * use cow ghee n milk only * boild rise in open pot, don't use cocker. Withdraw water if rice we are offering ayurveda course for obesity.

Hye. Usually any kind of fat burner will cause muscle loss and not so much of fat loss, hence the moment you discontinue medication, you usually tend to gain all the lost weight (that is, if you do lose weight, considering you have hypothyroidism) and a lot more of fat. Even if you do decide to take the medication, know that it can't work exclusively. If your diet and exercise is not managed right the medication may not be able to help much.

Each body is different. You should not compare with others. Aim is to be strong and fit. To gain some weight, you need to eat healthy. Take small meals but eat something solid every 2 hours. 1. Take at least two fruits per day and one glass fruit juice. 2. Take one peanut butter/cheese sandwich daily. 3. Eat 20 almonds & 5 khajoor daily 4. Drink full cream milk, curd, lassi, chikoo shakes etc. 5. If your are non veg you can have more eggs, chicken, fish. 6. Dals have good protien. Have more dals, rajma, kabuli chana, soya beans etc. 7. Avoid junk food and colas. Avoid chips and other namkeen. 8. No need for any extra supplements. Natural diet is best. 9. Go for regular walks / exercise / do yoga. Sleep well. 10. Take deworming tablets every six month. Feel confident about yourself and be positive. All the best.

TIFFA scan is nothing but anomaly scan which will find out congenital anomalies wit in your fetus. Hence this is very much necessary during your 5th month to detect any genetic or congenital abnormalities in your fetus especially like Down's syndrome etc.

Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. b. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. c. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. d. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. e. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. f. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. g. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow this regimen and you will soon start seeing the results.

To reduce belly fat you need to be particular about food choices & timings. Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink plenty of water. Avoid refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Keep check on your food intake.

Hi you should include protein rich food in your diet like soyabean, sattu with milk, sprouts, milk and milk products, egg, combination of cereal and pulses, take healthy and heavy breakfast. If you are non vegetarian include egg fish and chicken in your diet. No drink before and with meals. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals. Potatoes are crammed with carbohydrates. All forms of this stuffy food have major impact on weight gain. You can grill or bake potatoes with butter. People who eat potato chips and French fries tend to gain weight faster. Make French fries using extra virgin oil, if you like them.  Moreover, you can also make a delicious potato salad. Peel and slice potato. Boil them and mix them with the high calorie ingredients like buttermilk, mayonnaise, and veggies.

Diet related insufficiency: iron rich food should be taken. Particularly those with green leaves (sting netle, parsley, green onion, coriander, spinach, rocket leaf…), dried organic fruit (apricot, figs, grapes), almonds, molasses, honey.Adding black cumin (very high in iron) to deserts made of sugar obtained from sugarcane help (especially in liver patients). Fresh apple juice, pomegranate juice (which has high vitamin c levels and increases iron intake) should be taken. Fruit juices should be consumed on an empty stomach and you shouldn’t eat anything for the next 1-1.5 hours. Fresh carrot and red beetroot can be sliced and taken with lemon juice on it. (ladies can take it more at times of mensturation). Take 100 ml of spinach juice for 2 weeks.

I am diabetic can I drink alcohol and what is the effect of spread cheese in diabetic.
Mr. Lybrate-user, our advise is to refrain from alcohol, as it gives empty calories, affects gastric mucosa badly, reduces hypoglycemic awareness and damages liver. Alcohol even in small quantity is not recommended. Cheese spread may be taken occasionally, provided blood sugar is very well controlled.

I am kind of low weight guy and I am trying hard to gain weight but it doesn't seem its working. I have almost applied every single measure including exercise, high glycemic food, having food at every short interval of time but its not working. I just want to know should I start taking protein supplement and if yes then which protein I should prefer or Is there any more effective measure to gain weight?

One of the reasons of not gaining weight can be that your diet must be low in protein. Low protein diet hinders muscle development. Increase tour protein intake in the food as well as you can have a good protein supplement you can have a good whey or soy protein just check its bio availaibilty.

I feel you are cutting too much on carbs and protein. Please include bread/oats/daliya in breakfast. In mid morning: have a glass of orange or lemon juice. Lunch: lunch is okay. Evening: for protein eat sprouts dinner: have salad with vegetables and paneer with one roti. If you will crash your diet, you will gain back weight very fast. So put a long term foundation of your weight loss goal.

INGREDIENTS
100 g curd/yogurt
½ tsp roasted cumin powder/bhuna jeera powder or add as required
3/4 cup water
5 to 6 small ice cubes
black salt/kala namak as required
pinch of Hing
a few coriander leaves or mint leaves for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS
take all the ingredients in a blender jar, except the coriander leaves.
just pulse the blender for some seconds till everything is blended well and the mixture becomes frothy.
pour chaas in glasses.
garnish with coriander leaves and serve chaas immediately.
you can also chill the butter milk in the refrigerator and serve later. but use it in the same day.
