Dear friend, lemon juice. 5 ml, honey 5 ml with one glaas of water (200 ml) early morning empty stomach is useful. But few more things are also required to reduce weight. For you I feel some physical exercise and low fat diet will be more effective. You may ask if any questions about this.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user I am glad that you are concern about your health & for this you want to loose your weight. According to your height & weight your weight should be in the range of 59-63 and as I have calculated your BMR, you should start a diet chart of around 1500 calories. Reduce intake of carbohydrates in your diet & increase protein content. Have salads before lunch & dinner. Focus on green vegetables instead of starchy vegetables. Take 5-6 small & healthy meals in a day. Take light dinner & start doing Exercise on daily basis. Keep this routine on daily basis & make this habbit as a part of your lifestyle. You will achieve your target very soon.

To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

Obesity is a disorder which is characterized by accumulation of fat in the body resulting in various health problems. Diabetes is a metabolic disorder that occurs when the sugar in the blood does not get efficiently utilized by the body. This is due to the inability of the body to produce enough insulin to metabolize the sugar. 

Diabetes is classified into two types, Type 1 diabetes wherein the body is unable to produce enough insulin and Type 2 wherein the body develops a resistance to insulin. Diabetes is known to cause diseases such as blindness and kidney problems. The risks of suffering from a stroke and other cardiovascular problems go up significantly if you have been diagnosed with diabetes. 

Weight plays a big role in the development of Type 2 diabetes and so weight loss is recommended. Other factors such as stress, age, pregnancy and medications also contribute to this disorder. Usually, a majority of the people who have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes are found to be overweight. Being obese makes it difficult for the body to utilize insulin effectively in order to metabolize blood sugar.

As obesity is closely linked with diabetes, it becomes essential to focus on weight loss as a preventive measure against diabetes. 

  1. Try to exercise on a regular basis. Add cardiovascular exercises to your regimen such as running and swimming as they are very effective in burning fat from your body thus reducing the weight/fat. 
  2. Lifting weights also promotes fat loss by boosting your Resting Metabolic Rate or Basal Metabolic Rate (the body’s rate of burning off calories while you are at rest). 
  3. Follow a well- balanced diet that focuses on low carbohydrate and high protein based meals. 

Apart from these lifestyle changes, focus can be brought on the following techniques also as effective means to shed off the excess fat:

  1. Ultrasonic liposuction: This technique involves using high energy sound waves to eliminate fat from your body. It is a non-invasive procedure that inflicts no trauma on the adjoining tissues in the body and thus providing better weight / inch loss..

Dear Lybrate User, *To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Hi lybrate-user never take supplements, they are slow poison which will harm your body, television ads and gym coaches will never tell you the side effects because they want profits. To gain weight firstly start doing surya namaskar in morning, secondly start doing prithvi mudra with your fingers for 20 minutes, do this for 20 minutes. Buy shilajit satt from patanjali store put 2 drops in hot milk and eat with 2 bananas everydayin morning. Eat lots of almonds, paneer, 2 figs, green seasonal vegetables and drink atleast 3 to 4 liters of water everyday but make sure you drink no water after eating your meals, give a gap of 90 minutes. Current age is 28. Bike accident occurred at the age of 22 with knee ligament injury. and treatment taken was tablets, therapy, bandage. My ques is if currently there is no pain can it occur in future? or should I suppose that it will never occur in future? since it was occurred at young age can we say it got healed 100%? 8 hrs sitting job.

Dear, as you said you had an injury in leg. But now you feel no pain. Therefore the ligament that injured that time has healed now. But when the ligament is healed freshly it do not get its full strength initially. you have to do light exercises daily to recover your full strength back. That means you have a little chance of getting pain again if you are careless and do heavy execises, give sudden jerk and get injured on same site. So consult your nearest physiotherapist to get full strength and better future in Health. Be healthy.

Hello. Had a d and c on March 3rd. 2017.as the baby had alobar holoprosencephaly. Recent usg showed anterior wall fibroid of 2.5×2.3 cms. My Gynaec suggested to wait for 6 months for next baby? Please enlighten me about the future pregnancy. As I am very much worried about my next pregnancy and the child? How should we wait to try for the next one?
