Detox Your Body The Right Way!

Are you looking for an ideal detox diet? Taking a detox diet does much more than making your skin glow and your eyes sparkle. It boosts your energy levels, improves your digestive system and also helps you with weight loss. A detox diet contains no grains, no milk, no alcohol and no sugar. A detox plan aims at taking the load off the organs which detoxify your body, such as kidneys, liver, and bowel. There are several things you should keep in mind before undertaking a detox diet.

How to start?
You should undertake a detox diet when you have a long break from events and occasions which might disrupt your detox diet, such as parties, weddings, and birthdays. You may experience a cleansing reaction during the first few days of the detox diet, like loose bowel movement and headache. This happens because of the abrupt withdrawal of some food items from your diet.

Food you should avoid
While on a detox diet, there are several food items you should avoid. They include milk products, sugar, maple syrup, honey, artificial sweeteners, coffee, alcohol, dried fruit, and grains such as wheat, barley, oats, rice, and barley.

Food you should take
Here are the food products which should be a part of your detox diet:

  1. All kinds of fresh fruits
  2. All kinds of fresh vegetables
  3. Fresh fish or fish canned in olive oil or water
  4. Lean red meat and chicken
  5. Legumes such as chickpeas, lentils, and kidney beans
  6. Organic eggs
  7. Unprocessed coconut oil and extra virgin olive oil
  8. Nuts such as walnuts, cashews, macadamias, and unsalted almonds
  9. Seeds like pumpkin, sesame, and sunflower seeds
  10. White tea, green tea
  11. 1 to 3 liters of water every day

Seven day detox plan

  1. You should start your day in the morning with lemon juice, which is good for cleansing your system and kick starting digestion.
  2. During detox, you should exercise for an hour regularly. Vigorous exercise is required, which increases your circulation and lymph flow for helping you sweat out toxins.
  3. Consume raw food items as they contain more enzymes and nutrients.
  4. You also need to detoxify your mind. You should meditate for at least 15 minutes every day. You can also try belly breathing.
  5. Drinking lots of water is very important during a detox diet. This helps in moving the lymphs and supporting detoxification from your kidneys.
  6. It is important to chew your food properly. You should chew a mouthful of food for about 10 to 12 times before swallowing it. You should avoid a detox diet if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, are underweight, or if you are an elderly person. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dietitian-nutritionist.

My wife have diabetic and pregnant now with 8 weeks her weight is 73 kg. Now my question is what meal chart is good and when and what she should have in meals? What are the free foods, vegs, fruits? Please do not drink excess of water. Drink water according to your thirst only. However you should drink a glass of water after every meals this is a must. Rest depends on your work environment.

Hi shaikh There is very simple and easy to follow diet plan with which you can lose 2-5kg in just 15days. This plan can be done by you easily. For Breakfast you take 150g curd, 30g Lipolyzer powder, 10g milk cream, 25g roasted flax seed, 100g any fruit, mix them all together in a bowl. Lunch – 2 Chapatti made with Nutroactive Brown Atta, 150g cooked vegetables, 150g green salads like cucumber and tomato. Dinner – 200g any cooked vegetable or vegetable soup only. Follow this diet plan exactly as said; you will surely lose few kilos immediately. .

Commercially available fruit juices are the worst food choices as they have a high glycemic index instead eat whole fruits. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to. Weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there' s more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0. 5-1. 0kg) a week I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Sir/Madam, I am 20 years old presently, but still I weigh 45 kgs, I am getting thin day by day, I have formed pits in my cheeks, which I didn't had earlier. I am very much thin. I seem I have a weak digestive system its because I eat well, I eat lots of dal and rice, 2eggs thrice in a week, but when I get up in the morning after returning from the washroom I feel like I have nothing left in my stomach, It feels like it has suken. Surely, morning shift is best. If you want to improve on weight and muscle percentage. Take a fruits/ fresh fruit juice / fresh vegetable juice, half an hour prior gym.And some good Protein source : like- peanut butter sandwich, egg, paneer roll, sprouts, Badam milk, after 1/2 an hour of gym.

Do let me know which diet (veg/non veg) you prefer? a therapeutic diet in itself can solve many of your problems. Dietary therapy prescribed by a registered dietitian is needed. You need to provide me daily food intake example. There are many lifestyle and dietary guidelines that can be followed. Eat a balanced diet as prescribed by a registered dietitian, I being a registered dietitian and doctor have been successfully helping patients achieve their optimum weight goals and help in several diseases. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to I strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Avoid fatty and spices food and skip lunch with mild breakfast and dinner take warm water with lemon and honey 2 glass daily empty stomach walk for at least 4-5 km daily with mild exercise and diet control avoid non veg and fast food do exercise and take plenty of water and papaya every day.

Diabetes cannot be cured but controlled if you walk for 40 m. Every day, keep a strict diet and take regular medicines. The treatment of diabetes has to be monitored every 3 months by a diabetes specialist.

Hi to gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.

Hye. See that you eat well when you eat. Don't just eat by habit or by consciously reducing intake. When you eat enough and as per the body's needs, you won't feel so hungry so often. Also thirst can be disguised as hunger. So drink water when you feel hungry first to check if you actually are thirsty. Avoid too much junk and sweet foods. Avoid smoking and drinking. Sleep well.

Excessive weight gain occurs only when calories intake is more than calories lost....So,,Dear to decrease your fat you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Drink 3 litres of water daily.stop sugar intake. 4.Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running 2 km early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk, yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc.... 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.......
