What pain killers to be taken for spondylitis as I have been taking voveran SR so far.

What pain killers to be taken for spondylitis as I have been taking voveran SR so far.
Take homeopathic medication to replace chemical painkillers, as they have no side effect and have long term relief also. Medicine like bryonia, rhustox and spondin are very helpful, please consult a homeopathic medicine before taking any medicine.

I feel so much pain in right shoulder from last 6 days half neck to shoulder or arms.
It may be cervical spondylitis. Or some thing like that. Consult an orthopedic doctor and get the diagnosis. Till then you may take the homoeopathic medicine Nux Vomica 30 3 doses in the evening at 1 hour interval. Report after 1 week to 10 days.

Sometimes, my calf of any one leg move slightly up and it cause severe pain. What is the problem and what should I do for it?

Sometimes, my calf of any one leg move slightly up and it cause severe pain. What is the problem and what should I do...
It is called muscle cramps. In such case I would advise you to take some precautions and start taking the physio treatment to get it completely cured. Take some alum mix in hot water and take fermentation thrice a day along with calf stretching and strengthening exercises. Make a habit of brisk walking daily for 20-25 min atleast. This will give you some percent of relief. Start exercises one or two days after hot fermentation do no start immediately. Make sure not to sit in one position for long time with knee bending. Avoid prolong standing as gravity creates a downward flow so you may face pain. So avoid against gravity positions. Using your thumb massage your calf area as it will increase pump action and release all toxins from your body by reducing pain and gives you relaxation for any doubt please contact. Regards.

I had a bike accident 3 years back, and I ended up spraining my elbow. Every once in a while, I keep getting pain in my elbow. Doctor's don't seem to have an idea as to what is causing this problem. What should I do to resolve this persisting pain problem.

Mr. lybrate-user, If your latest TSH level is 27.07 mU/L, then the current dosage of thyroxine is not adequate. It has to be increased. Plus you will have to take a restricted diet, that matches your caloric needs based on ideal body weight and extent of daily physical activity. Plus please do a blood glucose (fasting, PP) check up and come back with the results. Thanks.

Sir my wife is 43 years old. Her wombs was removed last 12 years. She gets lot of pains in hands. Legs and back pain? Is it due to calcium deficiency or other problem. Pl. Guide me.

Hysterectomy in early age can cause hormonal disturbances which lead to osteoporosis (weak bones). She should get her vitamin B12 and D3 and calcium levels tested. Many cities now have BMD Dexa scan machine which can accurately find the amount of weaknesses in the bones.
