Hello Doctor, my left ankle joint does not working properly. While walking it is not rotating properly nd its like something is missing in it. It is for last 2 years or so. Its like something is break in it.

Require xray to check any abnormality. Break should not be thr as fracture causes severe pain while walking. Ligament sprain is common in ankle and causes long term pain.

My muscles around my left knee swells when it I play basket ball or it gets slight twist some times it swels too what treatment you would recommend doctor physiotherapy? or else.

Sudden severe exercises can start symptoms like these. Take rest for few days. Restart gradually build & up stamina. It could be oa/obesity do hot fomentation. Any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos you will need other supportive medicines also. Contact me again if needed. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

shelcal is calcium supplement . hot fermentation twice a day. stretching exercises of spine. avoid toward bending and heavy weight. if it work then OK otherwise physiotherapy treatment of for few days

Try to apply any oil by warming it and applying to the affected area followed by a hot water bath continuously for 7 days

I have pain in back when I stand more then 30 minutes. And pain remain till one day. Sometime it's become so painful that I can stand easily. Please help me as soon as possible.

Hello lybrate user, back pain that is associated with day time jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.

This is my Mri report impression. Disc degeneration and disc bulge is seen at L5/S 1 level indenting the thecal Sac without any nerve root compression. Annulus tear is noted. 2 this r my x ray report impression. Pid L5. S 1.

Rule out high blood pressure or any other kidney problem, diabetes, vitamin d deficiency etc. Do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do knee exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. You will need other supportive medicines also. Do reply back for private consultation. And detailed treatment plan.
