I am 42 year old male, from last 60 days I am experiencing significant increase in frequency and urgency of urination. Also last week I found small amount of blood in my semen while ejaculating, when I went to loo on a semi hardened penis I saw drops of blood coming out with urine. Please tell me what could be the reason for this, other wise normally I do not get any blood in urine, it is only after ejaculating that I see it in semen as well as in urine when I pee for the first time after sex. I am worried, what should I do, what could be the reasons?

Don't get panic Ayurveda has solution for there problems. Semen consists of sperm and fluids released by the prostate and other glands. The fluids, also called ejaculate, join the sperm as they pass through a series of tubes to the urethra for ejaculation. A number of things can break blood vessels along this route or along the urinary route to the urethra. Broken vessels then leak blood into the semen, urine or both.

Hello, yes definitely you can pass on the stone with the help of ayurvedic medicines and diet schedule. Do not opt for surgery as it has its complications, it costs a lot and more over stone upto 7mm size can easily be removed. My treatment will remove your stone within a month.

I am a 21 year old male. Over the past three months whenever I urinate, my urine stream splits in two (one continuous stream and one stream which is basically drops of urine.) Is there something wrong? And if there is something wrong, it's treatment may include surgery?

To get started: find the right muscles. To identify your pelvic floor muscles, stop urination in midstream or tighten the muscles that keep you from passing gas. These maneuvers use your pelvic floor muscles. Once you've identified your pelvic floor muscles, you can do the exercises in any position, although you might find it easiest to do them lying down at first. Perfect your technique. Tighten your pelvic floor muscles, hold the contraction for three seconds, and then relax for three seconds. Try it a few times in a row. When your muscles get stronger, try doing kegel exercises while sitting, standing or walking. Maintain your focus. For best results, focus on tightening only your pelvic floor muscles. Be careful not to flex the muscles in your abdomen, thighs or buttocks. Avoid holding your breath. Instead, breathe freely during the exercises. Repeat 3 times a day. Aim for at least three sets of 10 repetitions a day. Don't make a habit of using kegel exercises to start and stop your urine stream. Some doctors think this could cause a bladder infection.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query In a diabetic patient it is absolutely essential to get blood glucose levels in strict control. Because uncontrolled diabetes affects all the vital organs including kidneys. Since she is diabetic, it is necessary to maintain fasting glucose closer to 100 mg, PP 160 to 170 mg & HbA1c% <7. That will help Her electrolyte levels are with in normal limnit, there is no reason to worry. Thanks.

One kidney is sufficient. You can live a completely noRMAL life with it. I t does not affect sexuality and child bearing. Please only take medicines which are prescribed to you. Stay away from drugs toxic to kidneys. Go for regular follow up to rule out hypertension and hyperuricemia.

Urine infection can be diagnosed by routine examination of urine. Early morning midstream sample is best. In urine infection other common symptoms are increased frequency and urgency along with burning while micturition. Common site is just below the umbilicus. In your case it may be due to some other cause also, so please consult a physician for proper evaluation. Regards.
