Dear sir, the cells of your kidney are not able to handle minerals and they are leaking them so size of stones is increasing. You need ayurvedic tablets to repair your kidney cells so that tendency to form stones is curbed. Regards Dr. Omkar balkrishna shahapurkar

You should follow these very important and simple things to prevent stone formation & to get sure treatment of kidney stones: 1. First take a lot of fluid daily. The more you drink water and fluid, the less amount of deposit accumulate in kidney. So you have to make your kidneys healthy just only by drinking 2-3 liters (10-12 glasses) of water. 2. Stones are mainly formed of calcium and oxalate. So take very low quantity of milk, cheese, cream and dairy products. 3. Do not take strawberry, plum, spinach and tomatoes. These fruits and vegetables are rich in oxalate. So avoid them to prevent from kidney stones. 3. Stop taking supplementary vitamin d and calcium medication. 4. Avoid animal protein diet- eggs, red meat, fish in diet. 5. Take less amount of salt, pickle and western foods. They have high amount of sodium. So avoid it. 6. Urinary infection are also one of the cause of stone. So take proper antibiotic treatment of urinary infection on time. Even when you feelburning sensation or pain during urination, don't avoid it. Take medication as soon as possible. I hope you follow them in your life andstay healthy. 7. You can take gokshur tablets of himalaya for 3 months. It definitely get relief from kidney stones.

Types And Symptoms Of Urinary Incontinence!

M Ch Urology, MBBS, MS - Urology

Types And Symptoms Of Urinary Incontinence!

Urinary incontinence is the inability to hold urine in the bladder because of loss of control of the bladder. The severity may range from temporary to chronic, depending on the cause of this disease. Urinary incontinence is more common in women than men and can be categorized into three types.

Types and symptoms of urinary incontinence

Stress incontinence: this incontinence may occur while participating in any physical activity such as a sudden cough, laugh, sneezing or exercising. The stress here refers to the sudden physical pressure that a person experiences, leading him/her to urinate involuntarily.

Urge incontinence: a sudden, involuntary contraction of the muscular wall of the bladder causes an urgency to urinate. This urgency can be formed by a sudden change in position or sex.

Overflow incontinence: this is more common in men with prostate gland problems, damaged bladder or blocked urethra. The person has an urge to urinate frequently but in small amounts.

Causes of urinary incontinence

There are a number of causes of urinary incontinence ranging from aging to cancer and physical damage to the neurological disorder.

1. Aging: with age, the bladder muscle weakens and the chances of incontinence increases.

Damage: since the pelvic muscles support the bladder any damage to it (surgery or any procedure to remove the uterus) can lead to urinary incontinence.

2. Enlarged prostate: enlargement of the prostate gland in older men may give rise to this condition.

Cancer: urinary incontinence may be associated with untreated prostate cancer, which is a side effect of treatments for it.

3. Menopause: estrogen is a hormone that keeps the lining of bladder and urethra healthy. After menopause the production of estrogen is decreased, increasing the chances of urinary incontinence.

4. Prevention: urinary incontinence is not preventable but some steps can be taken to reduce the risk of it. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, avoiding smoking, practicing pelvic floor exercises, avoiding caffeine and acidic foods and eating more fiber to prevent constipation can help decreasing the risk of it. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Urologist.

(higher-potassium foods) 1. Avocados, bananas, melons, oranges, prunes and raisins 2. Artichokes, winter squash, plantains, spinach, potatoes and tomatoes 3. Bran products and granola 4. Beans (baked, black, pinto, etc.), brown or wild rice 5. Whole-grain bread 6, Bran cereals and oatmeal 7. Nuts and sunflower seeds 8. Dark-colored colas You need water to live, but when you have kidney disease, you may not need as much. This is because damaged kidneys do not get rid of extra fluid as well as they should. Too much fluid in your body can be dangerous. It can cause high blood pressure, swelling and heart failure. Extra fluid can also build up around your lungs and make it hard to breathe. If you do need to limit fluids, measure your fluids and drink from small cups to help you keep track of how much you’ve had to drink. Limit sodium to help cut down on thirst. At times, you may still feel thirsty. To help quench your thirst, you might try to: 1. Chew gum 2. Rinse your mouth 3. Suck on a piece of ice, mints or hard candy (Remember to choose sugar-free candy if you have diabetes.)

Hi, it has three main causes: lack of blood flow to the kidneys direct damage to the kidneys themselves urine backed up in the kidneys these can happen when you: have a traumatic injury with blood loss are dehydrated go into shock during a severe infection called sepsis have a blocked urine flow, which can happen with an enlarged prostate take specific drugs or are around certain toxins get complications with a pregnancy, such as eclampsia and pre-eclampsia, or related hellp syndrome kidneys that don't work well for longer than 3 months is called chronic kidney disease (ckd). It's dangerous, because you may not have any symptoms until a lot of damage, that often can't be repaired, has happened. Diabetes (types 1 and 2) and high blood pressure - both are the most common causes.
