I want make my body because I am very thin my wight is 50 kg and I am 20 years old.

MSc

I want make my body because I am very thin my wight is 50 kg and I am 20 years old.
Hi here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. Related tip: the most powerful way to put on weight - snacking right.

What STD can be there with oral sex for insertive partner? Can you pls suggest what STD test should be taken?

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), MD - Ayurveda
Sexologist, Haldwani
Hello- Though there's admittedly less risk of STDs in oral sex than in vaginal or anal sex, the risk still exists. You can get a bacterial infection of chlamydia, syphilis, or gonorrhea in your mouth and/or throat and – in some rarer occasions – can develop genital warts in the mouth. If your sexual history and current signs and symptoms suggest that you have an STD, laboratory tests can identify the cause and detect coinfections you might have contracted. Blood tests. Blood tests can confirm the diagnosis of HIV or later stages of syphilis. Urine samples. Some STDs can be confirmed with a urine sample. Fluid samples. If you have active genital sores, testing fluid and samples from the sores may be done to diagnose the type of infection. Laboratory tests of material from a genital sore or discharge are used to diagnose some STDs.

Hi. If you can follow some basic things then you will get better results in a short period of time, 1) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals, 2) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal, 3) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods, 4) avoid late night sleeping habits, 5) avoid coffee and tea, A) take 30ml of BHRUNGARAJASAVAM and 30 ml of water and 1 TSF of jaggery after meals, B) apply equal quantity mixture of aloe vera juice and divya godhan ark of patanjali ayurveda in the roots of hairs…. Leave it for 30-45 minutes…. After that wash hairs with ROOTZ SHAMPOO (rajah ayurveda) three times in a week, do all things for 30 days. These things are much more effective, avoid use of any shampoo and hair oil…for 30 days…THANKS.

Generally women have cramps during their menstruation period. Can I know the exact reason behind having these cramps?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

Generally women have cramps during their menstruation period. Can I know the exact reason behind having these cramps?
Menstrual cramps are contractions — tightening and relaxing of the uterine muscle — that enable the shedding of the bloody uterine lining. When the uterine lining breaks down and sheds itself each month, hormone-like substances called prostaglandins are released and can cause pain and inflammation.

Dear lybrate user, you must be quiet tired and frustrated if you are not able to sleep for 2 - 3 days/night. Sometimes the mind keeps working without break and hence affects the body. Your lack of sleep may be a result of something going on in your mind. Probably you are not aware of it or may be you are unable to express it with someone you can trust. The allopathy medicines will give you only symptomatic relief but will not treat the root cause. Hence, please talk to a counsellor who will help you to understand what is going on in your mind and how you can manage your emotions. Take care.

I am very slim like drum stick. Plzzz tell me is there any tests or tablets to gain my weight. Plzzz help me.
Hello, Weight gain is the result of well balanced diet, Physical activity for 30-40 mins 3-4 days/week preferably weight training and rest of 8-10 hours. All foods included in your diet should be power packed i.e giving you many nutrients and calories, Also it should be high on proteins like chicken (skinless, egg whites, fish, milk, beans and sprouts so as to help you in gaining muscle mass for better health and immunity. Examples-Banana/Mango/Chickoo Milkshakes with Honey and nuts, Paneer stuffed sandwiches/Parathas, Chikkis of Peanuts/Chana to be stocked with you as this can be conveniently had anywhere, Dryfruits and mixed nuts. Overeating would harm more than help as it would lead to burning excess calories to use the food eaten leading to wastage of energy and in the bargain you might lose weight. If the above does not work well then get a thyroid profile done and visit your family doctor.

If you are noticing a general lack of interest in things, people, and work around you then you are likely to be going through some sort of psychological stress or a difficult situation which you may not be conscious about. Reflect upon how the environment around you is like, how you are feeling about it, is your body also showing signs of lethargy, what has changed in these 6 months, how was it like 6 months before. Etc. If you can see what's bothering you then you can also work on helping yourself. If the issue persists then consult a counsellor for one to one counselling. Take care.

Its very major problem for me. Just because of this problem I get tired very soon.

BAMS
Ayurveda, Ambala
Dear, if you tired very fast and feeling weakness. Then you will definitely recover from weakness by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. Very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. You can also do pranayams like anulom vilom for better results. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can take ashvagandha churn of baidyanath 1 teaspoon with milk daily for 2 months atleast to get your strength back. * check out your haemoglobin level in 3 months, if it is low you get tired early. So get treatment of low haemoglobin (anemia). If you have any disease like asthma /diabetes / hypertension, then get complete treatment of them. * avoid all fast foods and habit of smoking or drinking. You surely get great strength and recover from weakness by following these important things.

I'm doing a job which is upto late night due to which I'm sleeping too late. How to protect my health?
Lybrate-user. A sound, refreshing and relaxing sleep of 8-10 hours is essential of general well being and good health. Late night shifts hamper sleep quality and disturb sleep timings, biological circadian sleep rhythm patterns. In the long run if you wish to stay healthy, you may ensure a set sleep pattern unless very necessary otherwise. Get a relaxing sleep everyday, preferably during the night hours. If you still feel the quantity and quality of sleep is not upto mark consult me personally. Do not use sleeping pills available over the counter injudiciously / alcohol before sleep.
