Get your refraction done and wear spectacles
eat green veggies. Carrots. Strain less your eyes. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. If needed wear corrective spectacles. Put genteal eyedrops four times a day and genteal gel twice daily.

A Laser procedure called PRK will be helpful. This can bring down your power to zero. You will need a pachymetry and topography scan before the surgery.

Ways to improve visual acuity:
1. Constant use of glasses (full time)
2. Good healthy diet.
Cylinder may or may not change but spherical power will definitely change for some years. But it is important that he avoid rubbing his eyes and also see to that he is examined at least once every 6 months. If visual acuity is not improving even after 6 months then he may need some further investigations like corneal topography, fundus evaluation, squint evaluation

The solution for this problem is its reduced usage and while using computor use in proper light. There is nothing more effective than controlling usage to reduce and negate the effects.
You can also reduce the intensity of the computor screen by attaching a filter or by getting an eye-friendly screen. Above all, one must try to reduce the amount of computor usage or take frequent breaks.
