Hello, Practicing yoga with homoeopathic medication helps you in releasing the stress from your body. Brisk walk in a park will help you inhale more fresh air and oxygen for good functioning of the cells and tissues of the body. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Bacopa Monierri 1x/ thrice daily and Kali Phos. 6x/ once at night. Yogasana: Practice the following poses if you don’t have any medical condition or pregnancy or else take an advice from your concern doctor and then only perform these. 1. Balasana: Sit on your heels with your big toes touching and hands resting on your thighs. Lower your belly and chest to rest between your knees, bringing your forehead to the floor. Relax your arms back beside your shins, palms facing up. Soften your breath by taking 5 to 10 long, deep inhalations and exhalations. 2. Savasana: lie back, letting your body sink into and open around the support. End in a supported pose on your back with a folded blanket under the length of the spine to help arch the upper and middle back, and lengthen the lower back. Move your arms a comfortable distance away from your body and anything else around you. Turn your palms to face up. Separate your legs a natural distance apart. Relax your feet and let them roll open. Finally, do a mental scan from head to toe: Where are you holding tension. Release it from every part of your body—including your heart and head. 3. Bhujanasana: Slowly slide forward from Child's Pose to lie facedown. Press your toes and forehead gently into the floor. Rest your palms lightly on the floor on either side of your chest with fingertips pointing forward and elbows bent and hugging in toward your ribcage. Inhale and lift your chest from the heart, pressing only very lightly into your palms and mostly using your back strength to hold your shoulders and chest up. Soften your shoulders. Then lift your hands off the floor completely, broadening across your collarbones and reaching your heart up. Take a couple of deep, slow breaths here. Then as you exhale, place your palms back down and gently lower your chest to floor.

There is no specific medication for treatment of a dengue infection. -Use analgesics with acetaminophen (crocin or dolo -650 mg) and avoid those containing ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin or aspirin containing drugs. -Take rest, drink plenty of fluids like coconut water, lime water etc.to prevent dehydration. -Avoid visiting heavily populated residential areas, if possible. -Use mosquito repellents/mosquito nets when indoors.

Any serious illness, especially painful ones, can make you Weak nd tired. But some quite minor illnesses can also leave you feeling washed out. Here are 10 health conditions that are known to cause fatigue. ----- 1. Anaemia-----One of the most common medical reasons for feeling constantly run down is iron deficiency anaemia. It affects around one in 20 men and post-menopausal women, but may be even more common in women who are still having periods. Typically, you’ll feel you can’t be bothered to do anything, your muscles will feel heavy and you’ll get tired very quickly. Women with heavy periods and pregnant women are especially prone to anaemia.-------------- 2. Chronic fatigue syndrome------Chronic fatigue syndrome (also called myalgic encephalomyelitis or ME) is a severe and disabling tiredness that goes on for at least six months. There are usually other symptoms, such as a sore throat, muscle or joint pain and headache. ------- 3. Underactive thyroid ----------An underactive thyroid gland means that you have too little thyroid hormone (thyroxine) in your body. This makes you feel tired. You’re also likely to put on weight and have aching muscles. It’s most common in women, and it happens more often as you get older. -------- Your Doctor can diagnose an underactive thyroid by taking blood test 4. Diabetes---------One of the main symptoms of diabetes, a long-term condition caused by too much sugar in the blood, is feeling very tired. The other key symptoms are feeling very thirsty, going to the toilet a lot and weight loss. Your Doctor can diagnose diabetes with a blood test.--------- 5. Depression--------As well as making you feel very sad, depression can also make you feel drained of energy. It can stop you falling asleep or cause you to wake up early in the morning, which makes you feel more tired during the day.---------- 6. Restless legs---------This is when you get uncomfortable sensations in your legs, which keep you awake at night. You might have an overwhelming urge to keep moving your legs, a deep ache in your legs, or your legs might jerk spontaneously through the night. Whatever your symptoms, your sleep will be disrupted and of poor quality, so you’ll feel very tired throughout the day. It can be do to VITAMIN-D deficiency in your body-----------So it is advisable to undergo BLOOD VITAMIN-D TEST done------------------ 7. Anxiety---------Feeling anxious is sometimes perfectly normal. However, some people have constant, uncontrollable feelings of anxiety, which are so strong they affect their daily life. We call this generalised anxiety disorder (GAD). It is becoming more frequent in India. As well as feeling worried and irritable, people with GAD often feel tired.---------

M.sc in dietetics and community nutrittion management

Hi Doctor, As my question is to reduce my weight, apart from running what are the other things I really need to do.
To reduce weight do exercise like swimming, skipping, push ups, sit ups, squats, yoga etc. Along with that do maintain a proper diet. Eat small amount of foods frequently. Eat 5-6 times instead of 3 large meals. Avoid fast foods, junk foods, processed foods. Take more fruits, vegetables, these will help to reduce fat. Take whole wheat, whole grain, brown rice, brown bread etc. Take protein rich foods for weight loss. Use yogurt, dates. Drink lots of water but not during meals. Stay busy with works not with foods.

Yours is a fear related condition. You are exaggerating the stimulus e. G. Of closed places. There is nothing wrong with closed places but your fear is so much that you make enclosures frightful. The bottom line is with fear. You may not have developed sufficient attitude to fear and therefore no tools to tackle it properly. The foundation could have been laid in early childhood or through some reprimands that may have frozen you to the point of avoiding fear. This you can do only for some time. It will later show its ugly head and take over your being. Please seek counseling and deal with these deep rooted fears and you will see great changes soon. If that fails, the counselor will refer you to a doctor who will recommend medication. You must however continue counseling and cooperate with both therapies to be successful in the long run.

Hello Doctor, I am 23 years Old and I am a ca final student not able to give my exams due to this mental illness From past 16 months I am suffering from bad anxiety and depression but from past week my thoughts getting changed everyday earlier I was getting that everyone is talking about me or wants to kill me now I am getting that I want to kill others or I want to do some violative act or want to kill or hurt myself. Well yesterday I went to the psychiatrist and he has diagnosed me with OCD and prescribed me Paxidep CR 12.5 once in a day, Clonazepam 0.50 Mg 1 and half tablet a day and risperidone 2 mg Half medicine in the night I have start taking other medicines except risperidone as it is a anti psychotic Now please can you tell me what symptoms I am going through and should I take risperidone.

MBBS, MD (AIIMS, Gold Medalist), Diploma in CBT (Glasgow)
Psychiatrist, Delhi
Hello Doctor, I am 23 years Old and I am a ca final student not able to give my exams due to this mental illness From...
Hi, Thanks for writing in, welcome to the forum. Let us look at your scenario systematically. First, what is the likely diagnosis? It is difficult to say with the limited information available, but if one were to conclude with this information, I would agree with the diagnosis that was assigned to you (OCD). Your doctor is not using risperidone as an antipsychotic here, but as an augmenting agent. The dose of risperidone is on the lower side and that further confirms his intentions. The use of risperidone when there is unsatisfactory improvement with an SSRI is well known and proven beyond doubt. But the question here is whether we can just have improvement with an appropriate dose of paxidep alone or not. The only way to get to know that is to try it without the risperidone with appropriate dose adjustments from time to time. A call regarding risperidone can be taken after a few weeks of treatment along these lines. Please understand that all of the above suggestions are for your information only and I have no intention to question or interfere with your doctor's line of treatment. Also, since I have not seen you, I am assuming that the diagnosis of OCD is accurate and you have previously not taken medicines for the same or previously did not have any psychiatric ailments. A number of psychiatric terms, diagnoses and medication classes are deceptively similar to words used in general english. For example the word obsession as used in english and as used in psychiatry are completely different. Similarly, a medicine that is called an antidepressant or an antipsychotic is not simply a medicine to be given in depression and psychosis only, but depending upon the dose and other medicines being used alongside, can have vastly different effects and can be used in many different conditions. For example, a medicine such as propranolol, depending upon the dose and formulation can be used in the treatment of migraine, BP, anxiety, heart disease, intra-abdominal bleeds, aggression and so on. So stay away from a simplistic interpretation of what a medicine is for and clarify with the doctor. Take care!

Lybrate-user short cuts are dangerous, start doing regular pushups everyday. Its the natural formula to gain upper body muscles, for lower body cycling, skipping are recommended best exercise. Gaining muscles in 30 day is not possible naturally, and I request never go for supplements, they are like poison.

How 2 loss weight.

Certified Diabetes Educator, Registered Dietitian (RD), PGDD, Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (B.U.M.S), General Physician
Dietitian/Nutritionist,
How 2 loss weight.
Hi, I am both a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in losing your weight as well as solve your other health problems through a dietary therapy. Let me know your food intake details. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0.5-1.0kg) a week I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Don't fall for self dieting or fad diets availiable online they have harmful effects in the long run, if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you may not lose as much fat as you would with a more modest rate of weight loss. Instead, you might lose water weight or even lean muscle tissue, since it's hard to burn that many fat calories in a short period. I will need to carry out detailed assessment in your case, after assessing your personal challenges to weight loss, I will recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. Also the overall objective should not be to drastically reduce weight but doing it gradually and help rebuild body tissues and to maintain ideal body weight. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies. Do reply back for private consultation for rx.
