Sleeping pills are not good and not available untill needed or prescribed by doctor. Anxiolytics are there which need doctor's prescription only have meditation before sleep and get relax body.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Dear lybrate user, simple things can be kept in mind like the following. A strong immune system is the best defense against all infections, common colds included. It may not keep you from getting infected, but you'll recover more quickly. Boost your body's natural resistance by eating well, not smoking, and drinking plenty of water every day. Minimize contact with people who have colds. Don't share towels, spoons, etc. or beverages with them. Cold viruses often survive for hours in the open, on doorknobs, on money, and on other surfaces. Wash your hands frequently and properly.

When there is a formation of an embryo in the womb of the mother at that time only it is fixed whether its a boy or girl and hence if its a boy which has an x chromosome from father gets a penis.

"Natural remedies to control Acidity "!!

Acidity or heartburn is the most common gastrointestinal problem experienced by adults during their lifetime. There are many over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription drugs available in the market, but if you suffer only from occasional heartburn, lifestyle changes and natural remedies may be the route you want to take.

1) Baking Soda: A spoonful of sodium bicarbonate, or teaspoon-full to be exact, can help put an end to the burning sensation of heartburn caused by acid reflux.

2) Aloe Juice: Aloe is a plant used to soothe burns, and people often think of using it to help something like sunburn, but it can do more than that. It is able to soothen the heartburn too because it reduces inflammation.

3) Don't lie down: Heartburn tends to get worse at night, due to the fact that you’re lying down when you sleep. Gravity works against you, and it’s easier for the digested contents of your stomach to back up into your esophagus, along with acid. Try elevating your head about 6 inches when you sleep by placing blocks under the legs at the head of your bed. You could also try a wedge-shaped pillow under your mattress, but don’t simply pile up extra pillows as it’s easy to slip off of them at night.

4) Don’t lie down within 3-4 hours after eating, because lying down with a full stomach makes stomach contents press harder against your lower esophageal sphincter.

5) Eat Bananas and Apples: Bananas contain natural antacids that can act as a buffer against acid reflux. If you want to try out the simplest home remedies for heartburn first, try letting a few bananas ripen up nicely and eating one every day. You can also try an apple a day. Slice one up and eat it a couple of hours before bedtime to relieve or prevent discomfort.

6) Avoid Tight Clothes: Tight fitting clothes make it more likely that the stomach contents, will push through and you will experience reflux.

7) Avoid Smoking and Drinking: Smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol can set you up for terrible reflux.

8) Watch your weight: Being overweight increases your risk of GERD, and you’re going to suffer from occasional heartburn a lot more as well. This is because unnecessarily added pounds will put pressure on your lower esophageal sphincter.

9) Buttermilk: Another simple home remedy for acidity is buttermilk. It contains lactic acid that normalizes the acidity in the stomach. You can buy buttermilk or make it yourself.

10) Cloves: Cloves can help alleviate acidity and dispel gas due to their carminative effect that increases hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Contrary to the popular belief, acidity can be caused due to low stomach acid too.

11) Cumin Seeds: Cumin seeds can also be used to treat acidity as cumin works as a great acid neutralizer. Also, it aids in digestion and relieves stomach pain.

You need to use a salicylic based facewash, medicated anti dandruff shampoo. Use creams on the acne which can help in decreasing the inflammation going on. Also chemical peels will help in improving the texture of your skin.

hello pooja egg yolk is good for making hair softer and shinier. u can apply it on your hair and leave it there for around 15min. always wash your hair using normal temp water.never take hot water for washing hair. use filtered water. use less chemical containing shampoos. always condition after using shampoo.

When leg pain occurs after strenuous physical activity, you can simply apply cold compresses. This will help reduce the pain by numbing the affected area and control swelling and inflammation. 1. Wrap a few ice cubes (or a bag of frozen peas) in a thin towel. 2. Apply this pack on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes, while keeping the leg (s) elevated. 3. Do this a few times a day. Note: do not apply ice directly on the skin, as it may cause frostbite. 2. Massage massage promotes faster recovery from muscle damage that causes leg pain. 10 minutes of massage therapy attenuates inflammatory signaling after exercise-induced muscle damage. In addition, massage improves blood circulation and helps relieve stress and anxiety. 1. Rub some warm olive, coconut or mustard oil on the affected area. 2. Using gentle yet firm strokes, massage your legs for about 10 minutes. 3. Do this 2 or 3 times daily as needed. You can also use a self-massage device or apply pressure to sore muscles using a tennis ball. Also take mag phos 6x - twice daily 4 tablets. Do a x-ray of the affected area.

Hello lybrate-user. Depression is a tough thing. I want to share with you some of my strategies I developed and wrote about to overcome depression without medication. 1.Art. Creating art I found to be very therapeutic. I would create paintings in my early stage of therapy to release my emotions and express what I was thinking. At the end of the process I had produced a piece of work that now sits on my parents mantel piece and helps me remember the time when I overcame great difficulties. 2.Get rest. Sleeping, particularly in the early stages of depression is necessary for your mind to heal. When I first fell ill I was sleeping a lot, for around about 3 weeks. Sleeping has been scientifically proven to have great benefit and also to help you recover from your ordeal. I wrote a blog about this a while ago to try and help give more clarity on this. The importance of sleeping when healing from depression 3.Keep a journey journal. Every day, when you are awake, try to write how you are feeling, no matter how bad it may seem. Writing it down helps to get it out of your head and also identify when things are not as bad as you previously thought. Some days will be better than others and as you progress through your journey, eventually, you will see a real difference until you no longer need to write any more in your journal. I still keep my journals I wrote in and when I look back at them, I see just how far I have come to where I am today. 5 reasons why you should consider keeping a 'Journey Journal' 4.Set goals, wild crazy goals as well as achievable ‘realist’ ones. All people are goal orientated, fact. No matter what it is, it can be meeting a perfect partner, having large groups of friends, being a great artist, running your own business, settin a meal plan or simply forcing yourself to get out of bed in the morning at a certain time. These are all goals! I encourage you to get a piece of paper (or in the back of your journal) and write out 10 different goals you’d like to achieve. If you are struggling to get up in the morning before 9 am say, maybe one of your goals can be to try to get up for 8: 30 am. Possibly another goal might be to get a shower every day if you have stopped doing that. These small goals can work you towards bigger ones. It is important to dream big too so set your biggest dream goal in action too! So imagine your wildest dream, do you want to be a millionaire? Then set it as a goal. It is achievable but the goal is the first step on the journey towards it. I have also wrote a blog about goal setting here:- The importance of goal setting for depression 5.Exercise. As hard as it may seem, do push yourself to exercise. This should be one of your top goals. Exercising releases natural endorphins and the good news is, you don’t have to go the gym either! You can simply go the park for a long walk (the double effect of being in nature will be of great benefit to you ), or you can use a computer such as the wii fit or xbox 360 with kinect to train yourself at home. Actually I used a combination of the wii fit and walking the family dog on long walks to help stimulate serotonin release in my brain naturally and it did help, plus I was starting to see a difference in my weight and body shape which gave me some more confidence and hope. 9 Reasons why regular exercise is good for depression - Battle of Mind Blog 6.Watch motivational videos and films. When I was going through difficulties and I found it hard to motivate myself I would watch motivational videos. There was one in particular that was quite powerful to me about gladiator and how you achieve a good life and one you can be proud of when you look back. In fact, with your question this may well be of benefit for you to watch as well:- Gladiator mindset and inspiration to overcome pain and adversity 7.Laugh even when you don’t want to. Watch your favourite comedians, things that you know are funny to you. Even force yourself to smile for at least 30 seconds, when you smile you can’t feel sad and it naturally lifts you! Try it now, go on! See how you feel after smiling that long!:) Meditate. I can’t state enough how important meditation is for a peaceful mind. I use guided meditations in an app. Simply look for one in your chosen app store, there are plenty of free versions. It is reaaaally good and with regular practice you will find some peace of mind. 8.Assess Relationships. Are all your relationships healthy? Not just love relationships but also friendships? It is sometimes important to detach from people who are causing you distress as sometimes letting go is not only beneficial for you but also to the person you are letting go off. 9.Seek A Therapy. Lastly but not least, you really need to try different therapies alongside exercising, goal setting, sleeping well and finding motivation. I am not ashamed to say that I have tried over six different therapies before I found the one that worked well for me. For me personally I found hypnotherapy to be of great help but maybe speak to your GP before you access a specialist to see if that therapy would be suitable for you. Seek a therapy - helping you find a local therapist easily Thank YOu All The BEst.
