At your age you require at least 8 hrs sleep. Are you getting it? if not, you are likely to feel sleepy during the day. Sleep from 10. Pm to 6.00 a. M and see the difference.

Dear lybrate user, increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is whey protein. But kindly remember only taking supplement is not enough. You need to take those supplements according to a fixed schedule. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.

You must take alfafa tonic thrice a day two spoons each time fir one month and add banana shake, grapes juice, mango shake in your diet daily for one month. You should go for walk daily atleast three to four km's.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can't lose 10 kgs in a week, same way I didn't gain all this weight in a week. As you are young you can easily lose wght if you follow customized diet plans for weight loss. For time being add 1spoon isabgol in your rotis and triphala powder soaked overnight in water have it in morning and night and avoid spicy junk fry foods and do 30 mints of exercise in the day. 1. Increase soluble and insoluble fibre intake – 2. Drink warm water 4-5 times a day – 3. Cut down on whole milk and curd – 4. Substitute your rice and roti (chapatti/breads) with oats and dalia (broken wheat) – 5. Half a teaspoon of lemon juice or amla (Indian gooseberry) powder – 6. Increase your liquid intake – 7. Have lighter dinners – 8. Maintain a food diary – 9. Avoid sugar and excess salts – 10. Keep your expectations low – U need to take a balanced diet.

lybrate-user, Canyou clarify what you mean by" I decreased intake of sugar & salt" Because if you talk only added sugar or sweets that one eats contains GLUCOSE, then it is wrong. All the food that we consume like wheat flour, jowar flour, bajra flour, rice, potato, bananas, bread, pastries other bakery items etc everything get converted to GLUCOSE in the body after digestion. Secondly actual salt intake should not exceed 2 to 3 grams a day. But every food preparation made at home, processed marketed or packaged food contains a large quantity of Sodium Chloride (table salt). Therefore, one can hardly reduce the intake unless there is very strict diet control with severe calorie restriction. Plus by reducing salt intake blood pressure does not go down. By salt restriction rise in pressure can be reduced. Thanks.
