Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired that can also be reason to have frequent sprains in the leg once the oxygen levels in the blood comes down it automatically leads to improper functioning of the joints and muscles and that also might make the hip muscles to become tired thereby straining mildly might lead to leg pain.

I am 51 years suffring from back rib gage pain both left and right side.Please do help

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually `there are very few conditions in orthopaedics which will cause rib cage pain, usually it can be upper back pain radiating to sides or sometimes there can be inflammation of the costochondral junctions where ribs join the sternum, we have to see whether there is any other medical cause to it. My advise is to take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication which suits you, start with physical therapy and see whats happening in 10 days time, otherwise I will advise few blood tests for you as well as an opinion from a pulmonologist/chest physician. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Please advice some treatment for bulging of disc I tried everything possible. Visited all type of doctor, did physical exercise and massage as well but still pain persists.

Ok, please try for the laser therapy 6 to 10 session may do some change for your back pain please don't discontinue your spinal extension exercises planks, core strengthening exercises, hamstring stretching, standing balance on stability disc or you may try for seragem for one month.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Knocking sounds around your knees. Firstly we need to know your age. If your elderly the sounds can be crepitus and be a part of arthritis. However if you're young it could be just a snapping noise from soft tissue structures around the kneecap. If these noises are not associated with pain you need not worry about it. However to reduce the noise you might need to do exercises to strengthen the knee cap. Clicking noises are due to cartilage tear and might warrant further investigation like mri and usually associated with mechanical symptoms and pain.

Take pain killers and muscle relaxant for time being vitamin d supplement avoid sitting on floor do not bend forward to lift heavy weight start doing back stenghtning exercises if pain does not settle, consult privately.

You are too young. These symptoms should not be ignored. Stiffness & pain in back & other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Yes, there is simple remedy. You need to strengthen your back muscles. Posture modification is required. Exercises regularly. Milk intake and sunlight exposure.

If you travel lot via bike. Then you have to change or travel for few weeks via any four wheeler or via train as there shouldn't be strain on your back. You have to daily surynamskar exercise as you tolerated. It will strengthen your back muscles. And help to recover. For present pain you have to take. Pain killer antacid as per orthopedic consultantion.
