I am 19. Though I am 5'8 I am just 50kgs. I wanna know some food habits that I can make in home and even some bodybuilding exercises. I don't wanna have a physique like a body builder. Atleast just a decent look.

Hye, Thanks for the query. If you want to gain some weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. 1. Eat 5 to 6 meals a day In order to gain weight, you need to start eating 5-6 meals a day. However, it is important that you break these meals into parts, as eating a lot at once may result in indigestion. Also, be sure to include healthy foods in your diet for a healthy weight gain. 2. Weight train at least 3 times a week When you train with weights, your muscles grow. 3. Consume more calories than you burn. Eating calories more than your normal intake may not be easy, but you must do it if you want to stop being skinny. Make sure you don’t do it just by overeating at once, but instead do it gradually over the whole day. 4. Work out your entire body A lot of gym goers usually train only the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Make sure you workout your entire body for a wholesome weight gain. 5. Load up on protein As informed earlier, you have to consume more calories than your normal intake every day. You can do this by eating foods rich in protein like dairy, meat, eggs, nuts, dry fruits, pulses, sprouts, smoothies, milk shakes etc. 6. Drink your calories It may be tough to meet your calorie requirements by just eating. Drinking milk, lassi, milkshakes or fruit smoothies with little or no sugar can be a great way to load up on the required calories. 7. Try and eat fast (but don’t choke on it) Your body takes some time to give signals of satiety which is why eating fast can help you eat more. 8. Focus on recovery after each workout Stretching exercises, foods rich in carbohydrates can help recover your body significantly. Also, you should aim for 8 hours of sleep as inadequate sleep can cause several problems. 9. Be patient with yourself Hoping to gain weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Even if you follow all the advice that is there, you may end up gaining just 1-2 kilos in a month. Every body is different, and just because you are not seeing results in terms of weight gain, you shouldn’t feel discouraged. Living healthy by eating the right diet will make you feel better and more positive about life and increase your strength. 10. Believe in yourself.

You can go for kayani skin clinic products. You r a victim of acne vulgaris and it's sequelae like most people your age. It's a very common problem with a lot of solutions. These acne pimples if broken leave really dark marks. So steer clear from them. Don't pick at them. Avoid cosmetics and over the counter face products. Overwashing won't remove pimples or spots. You need to use cold water and wash face with a salicylic acid containing wash twice a day and not more. It vil help reduce the oiliness to a large degree. Avoid milk and milk products, you can have them occasionally. Instead, you can have tea or coffee. Do not stress over your problem its treatable. Stress vil only increase chances of more pimples. Exercise. You can practice meditation, it vil take your mind of your problem and create all the right chemicals in you. Have fruits with a high vitamin a content (such as broccoli, papaya, spinach and carrots) as this helps to flush acne-causing proteins from the system, and with high vitamin e and c contents (oranges, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, avocados) which have antioxidant effects and help to calm the skin. Have adequate amount of water. Include nuts like almond, walnuts. Avoid milk and milk products like butter, cheese as well as refined flour items and sugary drinks.

If you r sure that the darkening is due to sun exposure, n if you r in a position that you cant avoid also, then its better to take precautionary measures like wearing sunglasses, covering the face with some scarf/cloth, frequent washing your face with cold water, whenever you come from outside[don't use soap often, if a all, you just prefer mild one only], take more kheera, carrot etc juices, even you apply the paste around the eyes, minimum twice per day, taking plenty of water [min. 3-4-5 litres per day], intake of tender coconut water, fruits, avoiding spicy, junk, dry food, etc all these will definitely help u.

I am suffering from typhoid fever Last time I got my blood tested on (15/9/2015) that time S type (o) & (H) where 1/160 +&1/180+ That time I took injection monocef 1g BD (20 injection) I got relief after 25 days I got headache as I got in typhoid last time then I got my blood tested on 18/10/2015 this time type (0) & type (H) are 1/160 +& (1/160+) please tell what medicine & injection should I take.

Get well soon my boy. Now you are suffering from post fever weakness, headache etc enough antibiotics have been given, very good broad spectrum antibiotics has done its job. Since no fever now, only health tonics, fresh fruits, juices, milk, food supplements like born vita, horlivka, viva. More frequent small meals are advised. Still you need complete rest. As regards your typhoid blood test titre it will continew to show positive figure for next 6 o 8 months, as it s antibodies not the active infection.

I am 31 years female. I just visited neurologist because I have been facing problem with my left foot. There is no pain even not muscle pain neither bone pain. Problem with my leg is it is just not able to take a load on it. So while wailking, my walk goes left right. I am not able to walk striaght. Neurologist asked me to do mri. Result showed this is due to multiple sclerosis (m. S.) doctor said there is no cure for it. Just we can avoid it to spread it further. Apart from this I am facing weakness at times. Once after I have my meals I feel better. Also not able to stand for a longer period. I had also gone for a blood check which showed vitamin d3 is less than 8 where it has to me more than 30. Please revert thank you.

You have a serious problem. This illness ms is generally relapsing and remitting. Symptoms comes and go away. Unpredictable. Cause is not exactly known. But autoimmunity is at fault. Allergy of nerve covering of nerves of brain. I strongly advise you to only take treatment from a neurologist, better he be the same doctor. Don't change doctors. If he know your case from beginning he will be better efficiently manage, and will be able to help you better. Trust him, your illness is such that you have to be very patient and cool.

Diet management and exercise/walking for atleast 45 minutes daily. Avoid fried foods and junk foods. Limit rice and add plenty of vegetables like cabbage, cucumber, cauliflower to the diet. Also check the thyroid values and confirm along with sugar values for further advice.

For increase of height- take protein rich food -eggs, milk products, seeds, pulses, dry fruits, soya milk etc. Whole grains, fruits, vegetables and greens provide carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Have vigorous physical exercise to improve absorption of food and blood circulation. Games like basketball, volley ball and stretch exercises like pull ups, cycling will be helpful. Chances are better for the age group up to 20 years.

I am suffering from fever over 5 days, What should I do? And what should I eat in food?

Follow health advises given below: Measure your temperature and tell me reading 1. Avoid exertion 2. Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg after food (If No Drug Allergy) as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days 3. Lot of fluids to be taken 4. Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapati etc. 4. Avoid wearing synthetic and tight cloths. Get CBC checked and review with reports consult physician/me for further management and let me know what medicines you were taking and also tell me if you are having other symptoms like cough/ throat pain/ burning urine/ stomach pain so that we can confirm cause of fever.

Hello lybrate users- its due to excessive vata-pitta prakopa happened due to late night schedule. I always suggest my patient not to wake up late at night. It causes insomnia, loss of mental alertness, lathargyness, and dementia up to some extent. Try this ayurvedic routine to recover safely from your symptoms- a) massage with sheer bala oil daily in the morning before bath. B) massage your foot soles with plain cows ghee daily for 1o minutes before going to bed. C) use mahabhrngraj hair oil for head massage daily. D) take a glass of milk with one sweet at bed time. E) avoid day sleeping as you might feel drowsy in the morning due to lack of sleep. You will surely see the change from first week of treatment.
