Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Avoid repeated forward bending, avoid weight lifting, do not sleep straight, better sleep side wise and knee should be bent back side.

Hi, not to worry, even if fractures are there nothing much to be done. Rib belt and analgesics will help. Pain will persist for more than 1 month, especially when you take deep breath, cough, or lift weight on that side. It will gradually decrease.

I would suggest you get a usg pelvis and a spine xray done and then consult a gynaecologist/ orthopaedician depending on the result.

He has pain on left side from hip waist to ankle joint for the last 3 days. What to do?

This could be due to lumbar spondylosis with nerve root compression. Control diabetes & rule outvit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos bio d3 max 1 tab od x 10 days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. Adv Digital x-ray ls spine ap & lat views

Hi there are multiple causes for shoulder pain like. Muscular, tendonitis, ligament tear etc. It will be good if you visit physiotherapist or orthopaedic doctor for diagnosis. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

your mother mainly problem in nack it's problem pain go in shoulder you used heating paid in shoulder some exercise also do she your mother also go near a physiotherapy she/he do well treatment a physiotherapist give her heating paid+US+IFT+ exercise=batter feel it's all treatment all most 20 days but she do rest.

Ankle stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation standing calf stretch stand away from a wall and. Put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Take medicine of thyroid to maintain a check of suger level. Tk calcium supplements and do stretching exercise of both limbs like yoga avoid strain full activity and gentle movement of all joint.

Hello, this may be due to following reasons- 1. Overweight, 2. Deficiency of vitamin d3 or calcium, 3. Postural stress, 4. Muscle strain, 5. Arthritis etc. You can follow these advises:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Avoid squatting and weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. 9. Perform deep breathing exercises or yoga for proper functioning of lungs. I can explain you stiffness and pain reducing techniques, if interested. Wish you a happy and pain free life thanks.
