There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 24 years so your number will not increase now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. If you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik One thing I don't understand is how is this pair of glasses affecting your carrier? There are people in all fields who use glasses. please don't get disheartened.

I have red eyes over the week took many medicine but did not improve in my eyes. What should I do. Doc.

I have red eyes over the week took many medicine but did not improve in my eyes. What should I do.
Doc.
Eyes appear red because the vessels at the surface of the white portion of the eye (sclera) become swollen. Vessels may swell due to: • Eye dryness • Too much sun exposure • Dust or other particles in the eye • Allergies • Infection • Injury Eye infections or inflammation can cause redness as well as possible itching, discharge, pain, or vision problems. These may be due to: • Blepharitis: Swelling along the edge of the eyelid. • Conjunctivitis: Swelling or infection of the clear tissue that lines the eyelids and covers the surface of the eye (the conjunctiva). This is often referred to as "pink eye." • Corneal ulcers: Sores on the cornea most often caused by a serious bacterial or viral infection. • Uveitis: Inflammation of the uvea, which includes the iris, ciliary body, and choroid. The cause is most often not known. It may be related to an autoimmune disorder, infection, or exposure to toxins. The type of uveitis that causes the worst red eye is called iritis, in which only the iris is inflamed. Other potential causes of eye redness include: • Colds or allergies . • Acute glaucoma: A sudden increase in eye pressure that is extremely painful and causes serious visual problems. This is a medical emergency. The more common form of glaucoma is chronic and gradual. • Corneal scratches: Injuries caused by sand, dust, or overuse of contact lenses. Sometimes, a bright red spot, called a subconjunctival hemorrhage, will appear on the white of the eye. This often happens after straining or coughing, which causes a broken blood vessel on the surface of the eye. Most often, there is no pain and your vision is normal. It is almost never a serious problem. Because the blood leaks into the conjunctiva, which is clear, you cannot wipe or rinse the blood away. Like a bruise, the red spot will go away within a week or two. As a week had already passed without any relief,visit a local eyespecialist.The diagnosis of your problem in eyes can only be made by local examination of eyes

I am aged 19 and I am suffering from sever head ach and eyes pain with sinus infection symptoms I used many medicines...
As per your complaints, its all part of sinusitis. For sinusitis, in homeopathy, there are very good remedies, but thing is you need to give full details abt the complaint aswell, your personality{mind, reaction, physically, any other complaints, past h/o, family h/o of illness, aggravations, ameliorations, causative factors, etc]in detailed way.& alsou need to stick to t/ t for quite some time, as though the process is slow, will get permanent relief. You need to have patience.& to give accurate feedback abt the progress after taking medicines.

Acute Red Eye - How Best It Can Be Managed?

ABC

Acute Red Eye - How Best It Can Be Managed?

A red eye is one of the first and most common symptoms of conjunctivitis. Conjunctivitis is the inflammation of the tissue that lies over the white part of the eye and lines the inner side of the eyelid. It is usually the result of a viral infection and can easily spread from one person to another. Conjunctivitis can also be a symptom of STDs like gonorrhea or Chlamydia. In newborns, conjunctivitis can be vision threatening while in grownups it is not considered a serious health risk.

The symptoms of conjunctivitis differ according to the cause of the infection. Some common symptoms of conjunctivitis are:
*  Green or white discharge from the eye
*  Redness of the white part of the eye
*  Inflammation of the eye lid
*  Waking up to crusted yellow discharge
*  Itchiness and burning in the eyes
*  Increased sensitivity to light
*  Blurred vision

An eye examination and testing a sample of the fluid secreted by the eye can be used to diagnose conjunctivitis.  It can easily be treated at home and does not require hospitalization. Antibiotics are often given in the form of eye drops and ointments to treat conjunctivitis. These usually need to be applied 3-4 times a day for a period of 5-6 days. Wash your eyes before putting the eye drops. Once applied, close your eyes and roll the eyeball around to distribute the medicine and keep it from overflowing out of the eye. Wash your hands immediately after applying the eye drops.

Viral conjunctivitis is highly contagious. If you are suffering from it, you should take a few days off work and restrict your social interactions. Wash your hands frequently as you may unconsciously rub your eyes. This is especially important with regards to meals and finger foods. Also, avoid sharing towels, pillow cases etc to minimize the transmission of the disease from one person to another.
Avoid using makeup while being treated for conjunctivitis. With conjunctivitis, the eye is more sensitive to irritants and thus a speck of makeup can worsen the situation. Also avoid contacts. If you wear contacts regularly, dispose the current set and start using a fresh set after your doctor gives you a clean chit.

Artificial tears or non prescription eye drops can also be used to relieve the itchiness and burning in the infected eye. If only one eye had been affected by conjunctivitis, do not use the same eye drop bottle for both eyes.

Sir meri eyesight weak hain -1 hain dono eyes isko treatment kya hain without using glasses.

Sir meri eyesight weak hain -1 hain dono eyes isko treatment kya hain without using glasses.
Since you outright reject glasses which is the best option, second best is Lasik laser treatment. Worst alternative is contact lenses. Till now in my 25 years of Lasik practice I have done only one person from North East for-1.00D power. This particular person made me speechless when he posed me a question on denial: Doctor would you be able to use this procedure 30 years ago even if I would have -2.00 or -3.00 D of power. I said- No- as the technology was not there. So now how can you debar me from the advantages of the new technology. After all I can't do without wearing glasses. Here at this point I agreed and he is absolutely fine for last 12 years.
