Start daily doing suryanamaskar early in the morning. Don't skip your meals. Cut down all processed foods, salty food and coldrinks.

Start doing surya namaskar daily. Have a clean food such as avoid rice, have lots of vegetables, salad and cleat soup in your diet. Avoid oily and processed foods.

Start giving her 1 tsp of methi powder before 1 hour ago of meals. Divide her meals in 5 -6 times a day and keep her watch of carbs. Such as give her jowar ki roti, lots of vegetables and salad and thin buttermilk or curd and dal in her diet.

I am 47 Years of Diabetic with 3 years from now. But it is under control. Taking 1/2 Tablet of glimestar in the morning & night. Please mention which fruits and vegetables I should take and what not? Please mention their names as not to give as proteins, fiber, carbohydrates, fats etc. I need specific fruit & vegetables names.

Fruits like apple, papaya, pomogrenate, guava or orange can have 100 grm per day. All green vegetables are allowed just you have to avoid underground veges like potato, sweet corn, arvi, katal.

You can have two slices of brown bread in a week and half a bowl of brown rice with adding lots of vegetables 2 times a week is fine.

If your having thyroid your weight loss will be slow. For this you should do daily walking for at least 45 minutes. Have your meals 5-6 times a day which is low in carbohydrate like roti, brown rice, salads. Stop having raw cabbage, soy and soya product and do not have anything to eat for half an hour after taking your thyroid medicine.

Doctor. I am 47 Yrs old. I am weighing about 77 Kgs. I want to reduce my weight. For last 2 months I am going for morning walk & exercises. Pl suggest the vegetarian food, vegetables, fruits that I should take for getting reduced. I am diabetic with 140-160 range. Also pl specify the names of fruits & vegetables that I should take. Being a diabetic you can have a fruit such as apple, papaya, orange 100, grm per day and all green leafy vegetables are allowed just you have to stay away from ground vegetables. You should divide your meals in 5-6 portion in a whole day. A carb which are rich in fibers such as ragi, jowar, bajra and salads you can use.

Daily physical activity and cutting down all your packed and processed foods such as chipd, maida biscuits, etc and consuming a good amount of vegetables and low carb diet with good amount of protein in your dirmet will help you out.

Hi lybrate user, having a thyroid slows you metabolism of body. For losing weight. A proper diet which include green vegetables and fruit and salads and liquids such as veg clear soup and buttermilk will help you. Daily some type of workout us necessary. Avoid eating soy and soy products and raw cabbage as it interacts with you your medicine of thyriod.

My wife is suffering from Diabetes. First detected 11 years ago when she was pregnant. After a Child Birth she is completely normal. But since last 3-4 years again she has this problem. Her HBA1C is 12.5%. She is not taking Insulin. Presently is taking "Glymipride-2 mg-BD. But it is not in control. Pls. I would suggest to go to a good doctor. Insulin will not harm her in any way in fact it will control her sugar levels. With regular insulin and proper diet where she should divide her meals in 4-6, times a day.
