Is butter (ghee) and curd, and milk is harmful for oily skin? My skin is oily and I eat all of these things.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hi, sebaceous glands which are present on our skin are secretory glands and not excretory glands! also, hormones are basically responsible for acne or oily skin, apart from that external skin care is an essential part for maintaining the secretion of oil by the glands. Of course, intake of junk food does affect the skin, so be choosy in selection of food. Always, go for healthy, nutritious and balanced food. If butter, ghee is taken in moderation, it would never affect your skin. Milk and curd is pretty safe and good for us.

There are medications and serums available which can reverse and prevent hair whitening. Hair fall/loss can be due to variety of causes. However, many of them can be controlled and dealt with. Most common cause is nutrient deficiency which can be rectified my oral medications and supplements. Hair loss, now-a-days, is common among males and females of all age groups. We all lose some hair strands everyday, however, some people lose more than normal strands in a day that can cause severe hair loss. Hair loss is mostly genetic, so if hair loss runs in your family, you are most likely to suffer from hair loss too. Hair loss happens either in clumps, that is overall hair loss, or focussed on any one part of head - especially the crown. While genetics play a big role, some additional factors can aggravate hair loss - hormonal imbalance, alopecia areata, stress, thyroid disease, anemia, protein deficiency, chemotherapy, and low vitamin levels may cause hair loss in you. Start by following a good diet - eat adequate amount of protein. Your hair is made up mainly of proteins. Eat eggs, cottage cheese, chicken, soya, lentils, whole grains. Vitamin c, zinc and vitamin b are other important nutrients for great hair health. So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet. Exercise daily to keep yourself healthy inside out. Next important step is to follow good hair care - oiling your hair with a mixture of oils like olive, sesame, coconut and castor oil keeps provides moisture to your hair and prevent them from drying and breakage. Once in a week apply a good hair mask. You can mix and prepare different types of masks using eggs, green tea, olive oil, milk, gooseberry, thyme, chamomile etc. Condition your hair using organic apple cider vinegar, rosemary tea once in awhile. A good dermatologist can successfully reduce hair fall by conducting some tests beforehand that includes blood tests, iron level, vitamin b, thyroid function tests and a biopsy of the scalp. Since some hair loss is temporary, your hair will grow back on its own without medical treatment. More serious hair loss can be treated with creams, oral drugs and surgery. Dermatologist can give your head a fuller appearance with the help of hair transplants and scalp reductions, which is successful both in males and females. To determine the best technique for your hair loss issue, consult a good dermatologist.

Since you have tried several other methods, ayurvedic tips may be helpful to you - 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin c like amla and oranges. 10. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

You can use a mole removal cream. If it still does not go, you can get laser mole removal treatment. Raised moles are easy to remove but the flat ones don't go.

I have the habit of masturbation does it cause hair fall my hair is losing Give some tips for get rid hair fall My hair becoming tinny.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
No masturbation will not have any side effect .In general, you lose about 50-100 strands of hair each day, but the loss is not visible as new hair grow in their place. However, if you lose more than a 100 strands in a day and more than 200 strands on the day you shampoo, you may be suffering from what is known as excessive hair fall. Apply coconut oil and do not use shampoo. Only dry the excess Certain factors or reasons may cause you to lose hair at an alarming rate, which are, 1. Thyroid problems Your thyroid is responsible for your body’s overall functioning. The hormones (primarily T4 and T3), which it produces help in regulating metabolic activities. Problems with your thyroid gland can cause your hormone levels to rise or fall to unhealthy levels, which can result in hair fall. You can improve the functioning of your thyroid gland through a diet rich in calcium, iodine, magnesium, protein and Vitamins A, B and C. 2. Scalp infections-Infections of the scalp can also be one of the factors that may cause your hair to fall at an alarming rate. Of the different scalp infections, the ringworm scalp infection is the most common. Although this fungal infection can occur in any part of your body, when it develops on your scalp, you end up losing clumps of hair. Alongside the use of anti-fungal medications, even anti-fungal shampoos and creams can provide you with respite from the problem. 3. Poor diet, Gorging on unhealthy foods or going on a crash diet can result in the lack of essential nutrients in your body, which are required to maintain healthy hair. Furthermore, since hair is made of protein, having a balanced diet consisting of proteins and vitamin- rich foods is a must. 4. Stress gives rise to certain conditions such as alopecia areata, telogen effluvium (hair loss caused post-pregnancy or surgery) and trichotillomania (an impulsive need to pull your hair out), which can cause you to lose significant amount of hair. To avert a hair loss crisis caused by stress, make it a point to do some simple stress-reducing exercises, such as meditation or breathing exercises.

The Derma Roller (also called skin rollers, microneedle rollers, and dermarollers) is a small hand-held rolling device which has micro surgical steel needles that reach the inner surface of your skin and promotes skin repair from the inside. It stimulates elastin and collagen production in the skin without causing any harm. The Derma Roller can be used by itself to stimulate the production of fine hairs (vellums) in the scalp, or used in conjunction with a pharmacy product called Minoxidil or Rogaine. It works by enhancing the penetration of the product and improving blood flow to the scalp and hair follicle. peeling. thanks

Hello Lybrate user Motherhood is a special and joyous moment in every woman’s life. But this is possible if her health is taken care of during postnatal period. The postnatal period or Puerperium is called ‘Sutika kala” and woman is called ‘Sutika’ in Ayurveda. A woman is called ‘Sutika’ only after the placenta is expelled during labour. The duration of ‘Sutikakala’ is usually 1-1/2 month (45 days). Great emphasis has been laid on post natal care i. E. Sutika Paricharya, as during this period she restores her health and strength. Ayurveda compares the condition of woman after childbirth with that of a pot filled with oil up to brim. If the pot becomes unstable, the oil spills. So, if proper care is not taken during postnatal period, her health deteriorates. According to ayurveda Vata activity is responsible for the process of child delivery. Vata will be immensely increased soon after delivery. The digestion power, hygiene and immunity will also be very low in the mother. Its time to take care without ignoring it. Rx Shatavari granules 1tsp with milk twice a day Suddha bala taila Massage whole body regularly before bath. Draksharista 3tsp diluting with cup water twice a day for 2 weeks.

Regular massaging of the scalp with lukewarm oil helps to stimulate the hair follicles. This is also an easy way to cure hair growth deterrents like dandruff and fungal infections. Regular massaging increases the blood circulation in the scalp. It is also useful for lowering anxiety or stress that is often the underlying reason for thinning of hair. Recommended oils for 3 to 4 times-a-week massaging schedule includes coconut oil. You can alternate this with mustard oil. Keep the oil on for at least six hours before washing it off with a mild shampoo. Other oils that can be mixed with coconut oil in trace amounts for faster results include almond oil.
