I'm 30 years old male suffering from knee joint pain. As per my recent MRI, doctors identified that it is" grade 1 injury" and i'm going for physiotherapy treatment. Kindly advise what kind of food do I need to avoid? Please advise what food should I take to improve my knee joint strength? Kindly answer all of my questions.

Its good to increase your calcium intake as it will increase the endurance thus will improve. Regular knee exercises wil help you to maintain this. Acupuncture will be best alternative treatment.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. It may have to be further investigated. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days, then inform again.

Sir my back is very weak n I want to join gym and I try to do yoga but suddenly I feel very painful . So what to do ?

Hi lybrate user, before doing yoga or gym, please do proper warm up exercises of 10-15 minutes. In these 10-15 minutes do some walk, jog and side jumps and light stretches. Your back pain happens because the instructors may not be getting proper warm up done. Plus whenever you start any exercises. It is important to build up slowly and gradually. Yoga does not mean training for acrobatics. It is just a way of increasing your physical and mental abilities. Do it slowly and step by step. Do not overstretch. Whatever you can't do. Don't do it. If your body is telling you to stop then stop. You know your body better than your instructor. Any exercise you feel uncomfortable. Do as much as you can and then stop. Use any balm to massage your back. It will get okay with time. All the best.

Whole body pain, feeling laziness, not able to sleep properly. I am taking medicines prescribed by the pharmacy. They are sleeping medicines which is making me more sleepy and feeling lazy. But the body pain is not getting over.

you should get your blood sugar level checked up these problems may be due to increased blood sugar level. it should be in the range of fasting blood sugar 70 to 80 mgm/dl and PP in the range of within 140mgm/dl if positive consult a medical specialist. for the time being you can take a tab paracetamol or calpol.

I got my left leg injured when playing football and later after 1 hour it is started the pain over the thigh I can barely move my body. Whenever I bend it pain most. I can barely walk. Please help me.

Dear Bikash Bhuyan, Namaskar, you must sleep on a firm mattress with a soft and thin pillow, use a commode and avoid stairs. Do hot fomentation and apply muscodac gel 2-3 times a day. Wear a LS belt. Take zerodol SP and omez 40 mgm. 1 tab each, twice a day for 5-7 days. Get swd +ust for 5-7 sittings at a good physiotherapy center. You will settle. If not get x-ray LS spine AP and lateral views and revert back to me with the reports.... You are too young to have spondylitis.... Take care.

Back pain may be due to strain, sprain, weather change etc. *Avoid bending forward while working on lap top or for any other work. *Don’t sit continuously working on laptop etc. Get up periodically and move around. *Restrict bike driving as far as possible. *Don’t carry laptop or any load on your shoulder. Carrying very light loads equally with both hands is better *Sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *You can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *Soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. *Get yourself tested whether you have spondylitis problem. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take Calc fluor 200--once daily in the morning.
