Which fruits are recommended for border line diabetic patients for daily intake and qty? there are contradictory views about mango. What is reality?

If a person has developed diabetes, it is better to observe certain precautions in terms of food intake. All those items containing high sugar like sweets, direct sugar are to be avoided. As regards the fruits mangoes, bananas, chikkoos, grapes, custard apples (sitaphal) and jack fruit (phanas) are to be avoided. Mangoes are very sweet, contain a lot of sugar, one can have a slice or two if sugar control is excellent. Any item rich in sugar content (sucrose) is converted to glucose in one step in the gut and hence raises the blood sugar rapidly. Other fruits have comparatively lesser sugar, hence can be eaten in moderate quantity.

1. Avoid caffeine found in coffee, tea, chocolate, cola, and some pain relievers.[four to six hours before bedtime.] 2. Quiet, dark, and cool environment can help promote sound sleep. [use heavy curtains, or an eye mask to block light, and also keeping computers, tvs, and other work materials out of the room will help promote mental bonding between your bedroom and sleep] 3. Avoid stressful, stimulating activities like doing work, discussing emotional issues. Physically and psychologically stressful activities can cause the body to secrete the stress hormone cortisol, which is associated with increasing alertness.

Sexual feelings arise in the brain and the effects are there on the body. The penis is made up of three tubes, the lower tube carries urine and sperms and the upper two tubes have spongy erectile tissue. These spongy tubes have a blood vessel bringing blood to it and thsoe thich take blood from it are kept surrounding the tube. These 3 tubes are encased in a common covering that can become taut. When sexual arousal happens the blood flow in the penis is increased and as a result this spongy tissues get more blood and they swell. When these tissues swell they block the vessels which take blood out of the penis, as a result the penis keeps on accumulating more and more blood and thus it swells and assumes a erection. So erection and it's hardness depends on 1. Blood flow in penis 2. Quality of sexual arousal many a men have sex after a heavy dinner. After dinner, the digestion starts and lot of blood rushes to the intestines to get nutrients from it. If at this time, a person wills and erection and demands blood to flow in penis, it does not happen with such vigor. Hence erection suffers and is not as rigid as one wants. So when you are attempting sex, please have a early evening snack and avoid dinner, and have sex and have dinner after it. You will see the difference. Also many men have a morning erection and it is better than most night time erections! so if you have an erection in morning on getting up, keep your waking an hour or so before your usual time, and have sex in the morning, this will boost your confidence. Erection of every man goes on reducing as age advances. One does not need a rock hard erection to have sex. A firm erection is enough to have sex. So do not worry. May be when you will be with a real partner, your erection will be better. The gap between the erections can not be reduced as it is a naturally occurring thing. Learn to use your masturbation to prolong your ejaculation time. At masturbation, men can identify that point of time when even stoppage of the masturbation will not be able to prevent an ejaculation and he will release semen. This is the point of no return. If at masturbation, you squeeze the penis head between the thumb and finger, just before the" point of no return" then you will find that this squeeze of a minute or two will prevent ejaculation. Your erection may be reduced a bit, but you can make it hard again and masturbate again till that squeeze point and repeat that squeeze. At masturbation, use lubrication, and try this again and again till you can maintain your erection without ejaculation for a good 15 minutes. If you can do this you would have mastered the art of ejaculation control. You can use this technique to last longer and prevent early discharge, at masturbation or even when with partner. There is no need to take medicines for everything.

A number of internal and external factors, such as supply of blood, sufficient oxygen and the functioning of the other bodily systems at the time of erection, determines the health of erection. While stimulant drugs and other kinds of medicines are short term solutions to sustain an erection for a longer period of time, sometimes certain changes in your daily lifestyle can also be of great benefit. Here are 5 ways to have a stronger erection:

  1. A healthy diet: Regular heavy meals are not good for your erection. This is because the flow of blood slows down and the digestive system begins working very fast. High cholesterol level or blood sugar level can cause nerve damage all over the body. If the nerves associated with the sexual organs are harmed, sexual function can be impaired. Fruits and berries which are high in micro nutrients and antioxidants are beneficial and should be a part of your diet instead.
  2. Lesser consumption of alcohol: Alcohol is primarily a depressant and can affect the normal functioning of the nerves. More than two standard size drinks in a day can be harmful because the liver is unable to process more. In fact, the toxins of alcohol build up in the body and affect most of the organ systems. Over consumption of alcohol has been directly linked to limited sexual desire, premature ejaculation, and temporary and long term erectile dysfunction.
  3. Acupuncture therapy: Acupuncture therapy involves inserting thin, sharp needles in the pressure points of the entire body to realign and regulate the flow of energy in the body. Psychogenic erectile dysfunction is essentially a disorder of the interaction between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. This can be corrected by activating the pressure points along the spinal cord. Acupuncture therapy has been proven to be an effective treatment for about 60% of the patients who underwent the procedure.
  4. Minimized intake of drugs: Medication for disorders like social anxiety, depression and narcolepsy has negative impacts on the nervous system. Other drugs like amphetamines, methadone, nicotine, opiates and barbiturates are also responsible for certain cases of erectile dysfunction. The use of such drugs should be limited to prescriptions and medical emergencies in order to improve your ability to sustain a strong erection.
  5. Lowered stress levels: Psychological stress leads to the secretion of adrenaline and cortisol hormones. These result in decreased secretion of sex hormones like testosterone because the secretion of stress hormones is prioritized by the body. So, lowering the level of stress can do wonders for sexual health and functioning.

I am a 28 year old male with a chronic skin issue. I get white spots on my face and neck every day. While these resemble acne/pimples, these spots have a puss-like white/yellow secretion inside. I can suggest some simple changes in your life to be adopted. Have light dinner and early about 7pm. Stop t. V and computer 2hrs before going to sleep. Have a shower after reaching apartment in the evening. Take deep breath before going to bed few times.
