Don't eat it more than once a day. Clean your teeth properly after you eat or drink anything. Get you teeth x-rayed to determine the extent of decay. Get your cavities filled accordingly with or without root canal treatment.

- use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean. Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth. - stay away from smoking and other tobacco products, which can aggravate bleeding gums. - eat a balanced diet and limit snacking between meals. Carbohydrates and sugars feed dental plaque. - try an oral irrigation device, commonly known as a" water pick, to clear debris from around the gum line. - you may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person.

From your above mentioned symptoms it sounds like you have a problem of excessive salivation. It can be caused by many factors like vitamin deficiency, gastric problems, excessive starch intake, mouth ulcers, oral infections, certain medications, certain high metals in body and may be due to inability of clearance. Inability of clearing a saliva itself has may cause tonsil infections or underlying systemic disease. Brushing and using mouthwashes can help to some extent but permanent relief will be after treating the cause. So its better to consult a dentist or physician for proper treatment.

Is It Time for Braces?

BDS

Is It Time for Braces?
Is It Time for Braces?
This is the most worrying question for parents.
By age 12 or 13, most kids will have lost all of their baby teeth and will be having a full set of adult teeth. Around this time, some parents will start to notice that their preteen’s smile isn’t looking so straight anymore. If your child’s smile is starting to appear a bit crowded or crooked, it might be time for you to seek out a orthodontist for braces. Orthodontic problems—or problems dealing with the alignment of the teeth and shape of the jaw—are common in preteens. In fact, almost half of preteens need braces or some other kind of orthodontic treatment. If you’re concerned about your child’s smile, ask your dentist today.
When should you seek orthodontic treatment for your kids? The answer is as soon as possible. As kids enter their late teen years, jaw growth slows and the bones holding the teeth in place begin to harden and set. Once in adulthood, the jaw stops growing altogether. Adults can successfully shape their smile with orthodontic treatment, but they may have to use a retainer for the rest of their life. Many experts feel that the earlier orthodontic treatment can begin, the better the outcome. Before braces, however, your child may need to wait until all 28 of their adult teeth have grown in. And sometimes orthodontic problems don’t even appear until later into the teen years. Just keep an eye on those teeth and see an orthodontist as soon as you start to think there could be a problem.
In some cases, if parents see that at a age earlier than 11 years, there is too much misalignment of teeth, as they are erupting, it is best to ask your dentist if some intervention is needed to stop a problem from worsening.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Certified Implantologist, BDS

Is it just broken or completely avulsed? if broken then assessment has to be done regarding level of tooth fracture. Simple restoration or rct with crown can be done accordingly. If completely avulsed you can go for implant placement.

How can I protect my teeth from cavities? And which is the best cavity protection toothpaste?
While no tooth paste can guarantee that you wont get cavities, there are some tooth-pastes that can reduce your risk of getting cavitits. Colgate Maximum Cavity Protection - Colgate-Palmolive India Limited. ToothMin Tooth Cream - Abott Pharma ClinPro Tooth Cream - 3M Oral Care The above definitely will ensure that enamel is protected from acid environment. However, even with the above toothpastes, you still will have to brush twice a day and floss. Watch your sugar-intake and avoid sticky sweets when possible. Avoid having sweets as a snack, have sweets with your meal. Finish your meal with durd/buttermilk rather than dessert. Please Get back if you need any other information.

Make sure you are brushing and flossing twice-a-day – every day! Flossing should be a part of your morning routine, and both brushing and flossing after dinner could even help you lose weight by discouraging bedtime snacking.

My mother feels severe sensitivity and ache in her lower molar teeth (2nd one). The dentist found a slight brackishness in the X-Ray of her tooth but said there was no major problem. My mother still got her Root Canal done and to the dentist's surprise, there was no blood after the procedure. What does this indicate? The tooth is not dead also. Her pain has not alleviated even after Root Canal. What could this possibly be? Does this indicate a problem other than a root/tooth problem? She is 51 years old.

I feel the tooth is not a vital or living tooth (the nerve in the tooth is dead) if there was no blood during the root canal. Hence in my opinion the problem should be with the bone which surrounds the roots of the tooth. You should get a x-ray done, if there is a dark area surrounding the root, after root canal treatment, then a small surgical procedure called apicectomy can be performed which should help.

If you have an impacted wisdom tooth and it is causing pain repeatedly, the tooth shall be extracted. Medication again and again will not help permanently.
