Hi, heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding, which is also called menorrhagia, can occur to any menstruating woman. It can also cause serious health problem such as iron-deficiency anemia. In order to stop heavy menstrual bleeding naturally, you can try different types of home remedies and making changes to your diet. Home remedies: -cinnamon, which you may use in cooking or baking, is also a well-known spice that may provide relief from heavy bleeding. Incorporate more cinnamon into your diet or take it alone to help calm the uterus and prevent heavy bleeding. Try mixing one cup of hot water with three teaspoon of powdered cinnamon and take it every thirty minutes during your menstrual cycle. -wash 2 cups of raspberry leaves and bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Strain and enjoy one cup up to three times a day. -placing an ice pack on your abdomen may reduce bleeding (no more than 20 minutes). It may also alleviate pain and swelling. -choose healthy and nutrient dense foods such as proteins including nuts, iron rich foods like dark green leafy vegetables, and dairy products like yogurt or cheese for calcium. Green beans contain high fiber and are enriched with vitamin b, which prevents abdominal cramps. Choose breads and grains that are fortified with iron, vitamin b, fiber and protein. Eat vegetables such as broccoli, kale, sweet potatoes, and spinach to help you get iron, calcium, and vitamin c. Eat fruits such as oranges and strawberries for vitamin c. Prunes and dried apricots are a good source of iron. Medication: take hamamelis q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water every 2 hrly during the menses. And for rest of the days, take five phos. And alfaalfa tonic. Take them thrice daily for 4 weeks and revert me back. Even after taking these medication, if there is no relief in the sufferings, need to get an ultrasound (pelvis) done.

To reduce belly fat you need to be particular about food choices & timings. Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink plenty of water. Avoid refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Keep check on your food intake.

Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight.* body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soupor salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * for thighs - work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15 minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. Repeat it for 5-10 times daily for flat tummy. * do surya namaskar yoga everyday, as surya namaskar have 12 forms of yoga. Usage of Clove (Lavang) for common health problems-

Cloves (lavang) are very useful to control diabetes, fever, cough, cold, vomiting, indigestion, iching, allergy, thirst, headache etc.
Its juice clears excess fat which blocks blood flow in nerves.

Cloves (Lavang)

To reduce Fatigue : Take 10 gms of cloves and boil them in 150 ml water till water reduces to half the original quantity (75 ml).
Filter out the cloves and take 25 ml of this liquid 3 times per day in warm condition.
This will remove all tiredness, fatigue, stress and strain effects.

Body Pains : Take Clove oil and massage on are where you feel pain.
It can be used to massage gently with fingers on teeth and gums too to reduce toothache.
Headache, joint pains will also reduce.

Sore Throat : Keep 2 cloves at a time in your mouth and occassionally chew them and take its juice.
Let those cloves remain in mouth for atleast 30 minutes and delay this process to clear throat.

Cough : Make cloves powder and for 10 gms of it add 3 gms candy sugar powder, 5 gms honey, 10 gms butter and consume daily in morning and night.

Increase sperm count and vitality : Take equal quantity of clove powder, candy sugar powder and store in a bottle.
Daily add 5 gms of this mixture in 150 ml water and consume twice per day.

As Mosquito repellent : Take clove oil and put couple of drops of this oil at all four legs of your bed and also in all four corners of your bedroom.
This will keep mosquitoes away from your bed.

Pimples and Scars : Take cloves and ajwain seeds(jeera) equally and make paste with water.
This can be applied as face pack and wash after an hour.
It will clear all bacteria and virus on face skin and make in smooth and glowing.

Pain in Intenstines : Take 20 gm of clove powder and add to 500 ml water.
Boil till water reduces to half quantity.
For every 4 hours warm this liquid and take 30 ml per one time.
This will reduce pain in stomach, intestines, indigestion, vomiting sensation etc.

Cloves can be chewed for a while to control feeling of vomiting.

NOTE :- Before making clove power, fry them for 2 minutes in a pan on thin flame and then make powder.

Avoid deep fried extra oily food: Generally deep fried over cooked foods causes acidity and gastric problem which lead to indigestion and later on weight gain due to improper digestive system. Add colors to your diet: Use color full vegetables, and eat different color fruits, it will provide phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are natural compounds found in plant foods such as vegetables, fruit, whole grain products and legumes. These plant compounds have beneficial effects working with other essential nutrients to promote good health. Divide your plate into four sections with dairy on the side to represent the five food groups: Fruits Vegetables Grains Protein Dairy What is right ammount of food? Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process, so you need to have patience!! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points ( if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Hye, Thanks for the query. Weight gain is strongly dependent on genetics as well. It's possible you are not eating the right foods at the right time when needed by the body. If you want to gain some weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. 1. Eat 5 to 6 meals a day In order to gain weight, you need to start eating 5-6 meals a day. However, it is important that you break these meals into parts, as eating a lot at once may result in indigestion. Also, be sure to include healthy foods in your diet for a healthy weight gain. 2. Weight train at least 3 times a week When you train with weights, your muscles grow. 3. Consume more calories than you burn. Eating calories more than your normal intake may not be easy, but you must do it if you want to stop being skinny. Make sure you don’t do it just by overeating at once, but instead do it gradually over the whole day. 4. Work out your entire body A lot of gym goers usually train only the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Make sure you workout your entire body for a wholesome weight gain. 5. Load up on protein As informed earlier, you have to consume more calories than your normal intake every day. You can do this by eating foods rich in protein like dairy, meat, eggs, nuts, dry fruits, pulses, sprouts, smoothies, milk shakes etc. 6.
