No its not problem if you have your normal diebetic ratio. You can control your diebetes by healthy diet and any workout. But always remember that your diebetic ratio should not be up and down. If it is then medicine is important for you.

Reduce your weight

•Eat only when you are hungry, not just because “it’s time” to eat.
•Eat slowly and chew your food properly. This will help you feel full, and the very act of chewing will leave you feeling more satisfied.
•Always eat breakfast. A healthy breakfast should consist of carbohydrates and protein with some fat. This will help keep your blood-sugar levels steady and hunger pangs at bay.
•Instead of 2 large meals, have smaller and more frequent meals. Keep track of the portion size.
•Eat a healthy snack every 3 hours to keep your blood sugar levels stable.
•Never skip any of your meals as it leads to increased hunger, which will result in binge eating.
•Do not eat meals in front of the TV as it can lead to overeating. Always be conscious of what you are eating and how much you are eating.
•Do not eat your dinner too late and avoid going to sleep immediately after dinner.

Do you mean structure? that is purely surgical. Consult a surgeon immediately. Regarding obesity, I am sure you already know there is no short cut to lose weight. Also ensure you have ruled out other causes for weight gain - like thyroid. Diet - avoid fried food, cut down on white rice and white sugar, amongst milk products stick to milk and buttermilk avoid the rest, avoid junk food and stale food. Include millets, barley in your diet. They help a lot. Warm water - 1 liter a day is a simple way to lose weight. Exercise - 30 minutes of daily exercise is a must.

I m 45 yr old dibetic since 9 year. On feb 2015 my father passed away after that I hv feeling that I will die and in night while sleeping my heart beat increases and breathing bcome abnormal but in day I bcome alright. Is it due to anxiety or heart problem ?

At times the body gets used to the diet and exercise routine. Also reduction in food intake which you may feel is a healthy way can drop your metabolism. Also lack of sleep and stress are major reasons for fat gain. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.

10 Tips To Stay Active

1. Make getting fit enjoyable. Pick an activity (or range of activities) that appeals to you, since you're more likely to keep to an exercise plan if you like it.

2. Choose activities that suit your lifestyle. Consider your budget, physical abilities and amount of free time.

3. Check out local exercise options. Opportunities to be active in your neighbourhood may include leisure centres, sports clubs, parks, walking trails, swimming pools or exercise classes.

4. Make exercise a social event. Find a friend or family member to be active with so you can motivate and reward each other, or make some new friends through a class or club.

5. Plan ahead for bad weather. Head to your local swimming pool or gym to exercise indoors.

6. Keep some exercise equipment at home. Options include exercise dvds, a stationary bike, skipping rope or fitness ball.

7. Have fun getting physical. Go dancing, fly a kite, throw a frisbee or swim in the sea & you're not limited to sports and structured exercise programs.

8. Get active around the house. Housework, washing the dog and gardening are all physical activities that burn calories and help keep you fit.

9. Look for incidental ways to move your body every day. For example, walk or cycle to the local shops, instead of driving the car. Use the stairs instead of the lift or escalator.

10. Involve the whole family in keeping fit. Arrange for outings that are physically active, such as walking the dog, rowing or hiking.

1. Protein is the key for the muscle building. Without adequate protein, muscle gain and growth is not possible because weight training demands for amino acids (which comes from protein). You should daily eat about 2.2g of protein per kilogram of your weight. For example, if you are 50kg , then you should eat 50x2.2=111g of protein spread over 5-6 meals in the day. Include high protein foods in your diet. Your protein intake should be from foods rather than from supplements. Good protein foods: beans,soybeans, whey, fish, dairy products (low fat variety), meats, nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds), peanut butter. Many of these are easy digestible foods. Milk is one of the best muscle foods. The milk contains two high quality proteins, about 80 percent whey and 20 percent casein. Whey is quickly broken down into amino acids and absorbed into the bloodstream. Whey is very good to consume after workout. Casein is digested more slowly and provides the body with a steady supply of protein for a longer period of time. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat and cholesterol. Include healthy skim yogurt in your diet, which can give you as much as 120 calories. 2. Eat custard apple (Saripa, Sitaphal) to put on some weight. This fruit is high in calorie. 3. Healthy fats: Avoid fatty foods. Most mothers, especially in India give too much ghee or butter to their children, thinking they will put flesh fast. But ghee is mostly saturated fat which is not a healthy fat for any body. Healthy fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids. Good fats: cold pressed oils (olive, sunflower, linseed, canola ). 4. Drink pure fruit juice. It is full of sugar and added nutrients so it is a healthy and nutritious way to gain some pounds. 5. Complex carbohydrates are also needed for gaining weight.. Corn bread is also full of carbohydrates, one piece gives approximately 328 calories. Potatoes are rich sources of carbohydrates and complex sugars, eat baked or as grilled potatoes. Pasta is a calorie rich cereal carbohydrates. 6. Eat bananas. These are rich in carbs and nutritious, one banana contains approximately 100 calories. 7. Some people think that drinking beer helps, but it is not true, it accumulates in your abdomen, making it fatty. 8. Don't take protein supplements for gaining muscles. Consult your doctor for protein supplements. 9. Non Vegetarian Foods Some of the non-vegetarian foods that help increase weight are given below: 1. Red Meat lean ground beef, lean steaks. 2. Pork, ham, lamb 3. Fish: Eat two portions of salmon, cod, or tuna every day. 4. Shrimps: The nutrients and necessary acid content present in shrimps gives healthy calories. 5. Turkey 6. Chicken breast Chicken breast, is supposed to be the healthiest and non-fat part which has approximately 78 calories for each serving. 7. Whole eggs: Eggs are loaded with protein, vitamins A,D and E.

Dear Mr. Lybrate-user, quitting alcohol needs a bit of will power. In case you find it difficult to stop alcohol then you should decrease your alcohol intake on regular basis. On first 7 days try to take one peg less everyday than you drink in other days. On the next 7 days try to decrease another peg. Carry on this process. Homoeopathic mother tincture acid sulph q, 15 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water will help to decrease your craving for liquor. For your problems of being over-weight I would advise you to walk for one hour daily. You have to simply burn the extra calories. Now kindly pay attention to quit your addiction for smoking. . Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight.* body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soupor salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * for thighs & hips - work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. Hello, Just like fat does not get deposited overnight, you can not get rid off it overnight. The most balanced solution to your problem is ensure your mother sticks to a natural balanced diet with some increase in physical activity. There are no medicines for healhy weight, even if they are you need to first focus on the right diet. At an age such medicines and pills can prove to be fatal.
