C- Section is a major operation so don't push yourself too much. The soul focus of exercise after a C section is to get in touch with your core muscles, to get your pelvic floor muscles back to normal, to strengthen your abdomen muscles and back and lastly to lose those unwanted inches and weight. Do not do strenuous exercises like the one you said (cross trainer). Cross trainer basically gives a cardiovascular workout that can help you lose or maintain your weight. First you should focus on your vital organs, lower abdomen, back and finally to your weight. I would recommend you to first prepare your body for easy and effective exercises followed by mild stretching and strengthening exercise and finally to cardio workout. Hence Cross trainer should actually be your last level of exercise and not first. You can consult me for a complete Post Natal exercise programme. Take Care.

One of the best oils that you can think of switching to if you feel that you are overweight is olive oil. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy eggs nuts fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week.

Hi, to gain weight you need to follow the under noted tips. Tk, apples, carrots, cheese, mangoes, soya been, rajma, papaya, bananas, milk, pumpkins, almonds, walnuts, regularly. - tk, banana with hot milk and butter in d breakfast. - tk, ghee in lunch. - - go for aerobics for 30 mnts. - go for meditation to reduce your stress and to nourish cells, tissues to enshape your body. - tk, your diet b easily digestible, on time. - homoeo medicine: @ alfalfaq-10 drops, thrice. Decreaae calori intake, corbohydrate intake. Increase protien intake, green vegitable and fruits. Increase exercise. Decold tab twice/day for cold for 4 days.

Hi lybrate-user, to increase weight in the form of muscles you have to take high calories high protein diet. Try to take protein in natural form like milk & milk products like curd, paneer, butter milk (lassi), dal, sprouts, roasted chana, sattu and if you are non veg eater take egg, chicken fish, these are the best sources of protein. You can also include dry fruits like badam, akhrot in daily routine. Don't go for the shortcut just take well balanced diet which should be included all food groups like milk cereals, pulses, vegetables and fruits. If it is not sufficient with the diet than go for the supplements but make sure you are doing sufficient physical activity for approx 40-50 minutes daily.
