I don't feel energetic throughout the day. I sleep for 12-13 hours unintentionally. Though I do not do any physical activity then also. I do not feel like doing anything physically neither I want to study n like to socialize. I was not like dis before but I realy want to change now but I do not hav any motivation to do anything, whether its career wise or personal life or relationship wid family or friends. I know its not good but I dnt feel like to change anything. Please help me.

I think that you have depression and there are some major ramifications to take into account. I believe there may be some genetic predisposition or there has been some childhood issue, related to anger, that needs urgent attention. You must go and meet with a counselor immediately and if that person advises that you meet with a doctor you must do so and cooperate to your utmost. Please visit these professionals along with your parents. In the meantime please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least, 30 minutes but not in the scorching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don’t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love. Learn all about emotions and how to handle them and that will get you out of the depression rather easily and quickly. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive every day and learn to be contented with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. Whatever happens please cooperate with the therapy and do not discontinue until the condition is completely resolved.

Hye. Thankyou for the query. It is possible that he may be suffering from burning skin sensation due to anxiety or stress. This can happen in certain areas or the whole of the body and may or may not be a regular occurance. You need to check if he is on any medication that is causing this reaction . You can also get his blood sugar levels tested.

There are two possibilities: if you are waking up nervous and restless, then the influences of dreams and the unconscious mind’s persuasions could be the cause; and if you get up and then feel this experience, then it is possible that the fear of facing the day, even if there was nothing to worry about, could be the culprit. In both these instances survival level fear and some insecurity could be behind the experience. Death could then be an escape from facing these major fears. Sunlight is fortunately an equalizer by the effect of light itself on the human being as an amazingly stimulating power, and as you move around getting into your chores, the energy levels spike and the biorhythm (which has three areas of influence: climbing energy levels, mood levels and metabolic rate) rises up to peak at 11 am. By this time I guess the fear subsides, primarily by the influence of daylight and sunlight. If all this I say is true, even remotely, meet with a counselor and explore the survival level fear and deal with it effectively. You should be well free of this disturbance. The morning effect is to be seen as a revelation from your system to draw your attention towards something really important that needs consideration.

Lunch ? Salad of raw vegetables such as carrot, beet, cucumber, cabbage, tomatoes. In case you do not digest raw vegetables, either steam or boil them. Whole grain bread or whole wheat chapattis (Indian recipe) and a glass of buttermilk. It will be good to add some roasted cumin seeds, green coriander leaves, a little salt and some grated ginger in the butter milk.For more details consult me privately.

Excess sleep can be from sugar not controlled well. Diabetes, often referred to by doctors as diabetes mellitus, describes a group of metabolic diseases in which the person has high blood glucose (blood sugar), either because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body's cells do not respond properly to insulin, or both. It is a difficult task to control blood sugar in the desired normal range. Whatever we eat is metabolised to sugar in the body to provide energy for our daily activities. For the absolute control, one has to monitor his / her blood sugar at regular intervals (Self-Monitoring of Blood glucose – SMBG). Though difficult, this can be done by a glucometer and keep a record. Get an idea of Fasting sugar (FBS) and 2 hours after food (PPBS), & HbA1C (inform me) and check before dinner and after every major food. The basic idea is to reduce the food intake to 1/3 of what you take now. The dictum of sugar control is diet, exercise, diet + medicine and at later stage medicine+ Insulin will be needed. There are different diet plans of varying calories for each person depending on his activity & life style. For diabetes, hypertension (high BP) and many long-term illness control there is the need for regular advice and follow up. Just one time consultation or advice is not enough to guide a diabetic in scientifically & medically correct manner. If you are trying to gain weight, make sure that you are doing it in a healthy way. To gain weight you must consume simple foods for weight gain, which has enormous amount of calories & protein. Consuming lot of calories doesn’t mean that you have to over eat or over stuff yourself. You must always choose healthy sources of calorie dense foods. You must eat natural and simple foods for weight gain. Eat foods with high amount of calories than your required metabolism. Never skip your meals and make sure you are including all varieties of foods like fruits, vegetables, cereals and foods with high protein in your diet. Take 3 major meals & 3 - 4 small meal. Dairy products like milk, yoghurt and cheese are rich in protein and calcium. If you are vegetarian then include Egg & meat Egg is a protein rich food with high amount of calories. Nuts are the most nutritious and protein rich food. Fruits are the best sources of carbohydrates, healthy sugars, vitamins and minerals. Don't forget to take sufficient water.

Hi, there is no such medicine which helps to reduce weight. I advice you, you should go for brisk walk in the morning and evening. Do regular exercise atleast 20 minutes. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Take salad before meals. Avoid heavy dinner and late night meals. Have adequate, timely, good night sleep. Drink more water in a day. Take small and frequent meals.

Though a proper diet you can cure this problem. Take food more frequently. Increase your plate size. Eat fruits like apple, banana, grape, chikoo, jack fruit, mango etc. Eat dense vegetables like sweet potato, white potato, carrot, corn, beet etc than cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli etc. Use whole grain, whole wheat, brown rice, brown bread. Take bread with jam, jelly, butter, cream, cheese, honey, avoid fast foods, junk foods, processed foods. Take protein like fish, egg, milk, dairy products, soy products etc. Take good fats like olive oil, fish oil, refined vegetable oil, almond, walnut, flax seed etc. No smoking as smoking cause of weight loss. No alcohol. Drink lots of water. Do regular exercise and lead a stress free life. Take sleep about 7-8 hours.

Generally TB treatment lasts for 9 to 12 months and should be taken regularly and sincerely. If tubes are blocked due to TB then IVF can be tried. Repeating AKT after taking full course is generally not necessau and the values of antiTb antibodies can remain high for a long time even without TB disease.

The reason of not gaining weight are * improper diet * indigestion (disease of stomach, loose motions) * thyroid disorder * diabetes *addiction (smoking or alcoholism) dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Be healthy

Hi first of all you have to reduce your weight. It's not seems good. Uvhave to check your blood sugar level and if it is high control it. Avoid spicy, jung and fried foods. Have homely food always. Reduce the amount of food taken and increase the frequency. Have fruits and vegetables as dinner and have it before 4hrs to bed. Do some exercise for 1hr. Do yoga, prenatal and meditation. Thank you.

Do regular exercise. Make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. No drink before meals. yes,, it's true,, any food/ fruit which is Rich in fiber is a boon for diabetics, as increase in fiber in diet decreases and delays carbohydrate abortion in body and hence reduces blood sugar level,, fenugreek and coriander does the same and also increases insulin production and decreases insulin resistance,, exercise plays a major role in making body cell reactive to insulin action.

Dear , What other medical problems you are suffering with ? This can help us whether its due to obesity or obesity is due to those problems. Till then follow this: Please add Jou or barley flour in your diet. Roast this flour and mix 1/4th of it in normal wheat flour. Prepare chapaties wit it and Eat it daily. Eat more of fiber containing food like green leafy veggies, more of fresh seasonal fruits, drink less water with meals instead take sips of water while eating food and don?t drink before and after. Sit in Vajra asan for 2-5 mins or walk 100 steps after every meal. You can also chew 4-5 leaves of curry patta daily as it will reduce your weight, protects liver and works as antioxidants along with increasing Hb which will overcome your weakness.
