Hello , please follow the doctor prescribed medicine. Which controls the diabetics and will not allow you increase. But along with medication, you need to concentrate on food also. Make sure you food must have high protein, fiber and omega-3 nutrition. For a diabetics, its good to have more protein rather than carbohydrates, which converts into glucose and may have a chance to increase the diabetes. What we suggest is the nutrigemoic protein, who certified, with 9 essential amino acids. This will help you cure your diabetics. But you will definitely have a result, if you can use protein with vitamins and minerals, fiber and omega-3 supplements.

Hi eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. There is no short cut. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure this suggestion will at least help you with initial fat loss.

Hello. Congratulations! I would advise you not to lose weight right now as you are pregnant and in pregnancy, your diet should be for two - you and your baby. Any deficiency during this crucial time can result in unhealthy baby and lifetime repent, so better think of reducing it later once you start weaning the baby from your breast milk to top feed! Include food rich in good calories. Salty peanut butter on bread. It gives you approximately 192 calories plus it is extra high in protein. One serving of cheddar cheese packs a good 69 calories. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat, cholesterol and cheese calories. One banana contains approximately 100 calories. Not only are bananas rich in carbs and nutritious, they're also great.

Health benefits of Honey

Honeys that are darker in color are considered to have more antioxidants.

Honey is quite different from white sugar, it contains about 30% glucose and 40% fructose – two monosaccharide or simple sugars – with 20% other complex sugars. Honey also includes dextrin, a starchy fiber. This combination helps the body regulate blood sugar levels.

From what you describe, it appears like that even though you have a medical problem which you have barely fixed you continue to test your health in obviously dangerous ways. This is an indication that you do not comply with healthy ways and much more can be read from that. Now, whether the problems came first or your irresponsible behavior caused these health problems may be a contentious point. From this, I can garner that you may be contributing to the conflict with your wife to a large extent, after so many years of marriage, and now pushing for a divorce that may add more to your misery. With your father having committed suicide, which incidentally can run in families, you need to be very responsible about various things. My advice is that you drop the idea of divorce and sort out the differences with your wife together with the help of a marriage counselor, immediately. Then you must give up your drinking habit and if need be, admit yourself in a rehabilitation center to resolve that. You must get into a health regimen that will ensure good health and longevity. You must also look at getting some employment since the business deals failed ( I do not know how much of that was due to your attitude). Please take serious note of my suggestions even if it upsets you and take concrete action steps to reduce the stressful life you are leading right now. They have only one outcome if you continued to persist with it: total ruin and destruction that need not be named.

Hello Lybrate user Thank you for sharing your health concern. Overweight or obesity mainly due to absence of physical activity. Other causes may be sleeping during the day, intake of Kapha - increasing foods (heavy, sweet, cooling and unctuous food in excess). Over intake of food. Heredity and Pathology are rare causes. Tips to reduce Fat formation •Avoid excess eating, eating during indigestion or just after taking pervious meal. •Avoid day sleeping; sleep in the night after one hour of your dinner. •Do regular exercise like brisk walking (at least), running, swimming etc. Avoid sedentary and lethargic lifestyle. •Avoid eating excess sweets. Have lowfat /skim dairy products. Avoid product like chocolates, ice creams, cheese, paneer, sugar etc. •Take non-vegetarian food like chicken, fishes, eggs, meats etc. In moderate quantity. Remove fat from meat & skin from chicken. •Try to minimise excess oil & ghee in cooking, Use a non-stick pan for cooking. Avoid hydrogenated vegetable oils, Instead of frying things try to consume roasted things & change your cooking techniques a little. Grill or bake food instead of frying, cook vegetables without fat by steaming and boiling. •Use low fat spreads and chutney on wheat bread instead of butter and cheese. •Don't consume excess alcoholic drinks or water on empty stomach. •Avoid aerated drinks and excess water after meal. •Intake of fat and carbohydrates should be restricted. Rx Triphala ras 10 ml_0_10 ml diluting with warm.

Heavy lifting, sudden movements and twisting can lead to spinal injuries and must be avoided while working out in the gym.

There are simple precautions that you can take to protect your spine from accidents and injuries while doing heavy lifts in the gym. Not only will these precautions ensure that your spine is protected from any harm, but they also yield a range of health benefits in the long run.

Following are a few precautions that can be taken from spinal protection:

  1. Check the object before lifting: It is important that you check the weight of the object before performing the lift. Test it out by pushing it with your hands or your feet very lightly to see how heavy it is and determine whether or not you should be lifting it.
  2. Perform a warm up exercise: This is one of the most essential factors for preventing exercise-related injuries. Pace around and stretch all your muscles before you start lifting. This will keep your muscles from suddenly stiffening or locking while you do the lift.
  3. Ensure that the weight is well balanced: Unbalanced weights greatly increase the risk of injury. You should always make sure that the weight you are lifting is evenly balanced on all sides and that the packing is proper so that it does not move around when you lift or have pieces falling off it.
  4. Maintain proper posture: One of the most important aspects of lifting in the right manner is to maintain proper body posture. You must always avoid arching your back or reaching out while you lift as that will surely lead to injury.
  5. Move slowly: Sudden jerks and movements are sure to lead to injury when lifting weights in the gym. Slow and smooth movements are recommended as they keep you from straining your muscles. There is no need to rush through your workout. Always avoid twisting while performing a lift.

Diabetes is not curable but it can be checked up to greater extent if addressed properly. A healthy life style is very essential for pharmacotherapy to be successful. Eat more of whole grain n fiber rich diet. Avoid sweets n any thing containing sugar. Keep your body weight at control.

You can have whole egg everyday. Yellow is a good source of proteins and vitamins specially b 12. Eggs do not effect the levels of cholesterol.

Healthy diet: while trying to gain weight, the focus should be more on eating healthy foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals. Healthy food includes meat, poultry, unsaturated plant fats, low-fat milk, healthy starch content, vegetables, fruits and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. Research suggests that umami flavour inrceases satiety and enhances appetite.

Do regular exercise. Make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet. If you are non vegetarian include eggs chicken and fish in your diet. Fluid should not be taken before or with a meal.

This seems like a muscle cramp. Take muscle relaxant and painkiller preferably after food for a few days.
