Stop eating refined flour and sugar if you are eating that like maida and sweets. Eat more of fibrous foods likes oats, wheat bran, sprouts, broccoli. Drink coconut water daily and use coconut oil as good fat for cooking. Also try zumba as interesting workout to burn calories and gain strenght.

Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control. Take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day. Medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day. And pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day. Avoid junk food. Oily food. Fermented food. Alcohol consumption. Sugar. Milk products and sweets. Take oats and cereals more. And do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day. And do exercises. Dont sleep immediately after taking meal.

I have big stomach over a 5 years how can I be slim tell me?

PGDD, RD
Dietitian/Nutritionist,
You cannot target a particular body part. You have to manage an overall loss and toning. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.

you are over weight, with bmi 27.81kg/m2, this is one of the reasons for improper control of blood sugar. But still 183 mg/100 ml, is not that bad. If you are really serious on reducing weight then exercising is a must. How to take out time is your decision. One way is to have a tread mill machine at home and exercise. Please let me know the hba1c%, which gives an idea about long term sugar control.

How safe is liposuction?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
Pediatrician,
How safe is liposuction?
Common & minor complications common & minor complications are conditions that do not threaten a patient's life, normal body functions or the ability to work. These include superficial irregularities of the skin, seromas, hematomas, focal skin necrosis, allergic reactions to drugs, visible or disfiguring scars, discoloration of the skin, fainting during or after surgery, temporary bruising, numbness or nerve injury, and temporary adverse drug reactions. Most of these complications can be considered minor, however some may become quite serious. Post-liposuction syncope (fainting) the next morning at home, especially after urinating is not rare. This can be serious if the patient falls and experiences a head or neck injury. (see common & minor complications). Rare & severe complications rare & severe complications associated with liposuction include problems with anesthesia, blood clots in the leg or lung, injury to the abdominal organs, excessive intravenous fluids, excessive blood loss, excessive loss of body heat (hypothermia), infections, allergic drug reactions, aspiration pneumonia (most likely under general anesthesia), cardiac arrest and potentially fatal cardiac arrhythmias, permanent nerve damage, brain damage due to lack of oxygen under general anesthesia, and seizures. How to reduce belly fat and how to increase volume of hair. Please suggest a proper diet.

How to reduce belly fat and how to increase volume of hair. Please suggest a proper diet.
Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Read the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous) . Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals. When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. Medication for obesity: Start taking Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 1 month. There after revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

Am 26 weeks of pregnant, I was 65kg when I conceive baby, now am 83KG I have put up about 20kg, which is very abnormal. Am not having sugar, BP or thyroid. However I was a fat from my childhood, I have reduced my weight being in diet and exercise. Now am not able to do diet or exercise my body is not co-operating. Am so worried about my weight and feeling stressed, how can I overcome this. Will I loose my weight after my delivery. Or what can I do for this, please help

Hye. This is not the time now to think about weight loss. Usually dieting for most people means crashing your food intake. This may have shown loss on the weighing scale but at the cost of losing out on muscle mass and nutrients. Now that you are back on your routine diet the body is taking up whatever it's getting. Try to now concentrate on eating right. Do not try to avoid certain foods so you don't gain weight. You weight is essential for the growth of your baby and both your immunity. Just try to enjoy your pregnancy. This time won't come back again. Also, if you follow a healthy lifestyle, good nutritious diet and stay active after delivery, you should definitely lose the pregnancy fat. So, enjoy the pregnancy and all the best health to you.

Eat a healthy, balanced diet. Food is the fuel your body gets its energy from. A healthy, well-balanced diet keeps your body healthy and energized, raising your stamina. Try to eat a well-balanced, low-fat diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables and lean meats. For long-lasting energy, we also recommend having up to a third of your diet be composed of starches and carbohydrates (whole wheat varieties are preferable). To keep your body steadily supplied with energy throughout get energy by eating several smaller meals throughout the day rather than one or two large meals. Snack on fruits, raw vegetables, nuts and other lean proteins between meals. Carry high-energy fruit and nut mixes with you during times of extended performance, such as hiking, cycling or cramming for final exams.

Hye, Thanks for the query. At your age nutrition is crucial for growth. Try to think in terms of what you should eat rather than what all foods to restrict to lose weight. Firstly it is important to understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals. Take a glass of lime water 10minutes before meals.

I am 26 year male, I feel I have some strength issue in my hand, as compare to my body my hands are so thin.
Hye, thankyou for your query. To build your arm strength, you will have to challenge your body with targeted training and stay consistent in your workouts. 1. Perform exercises for your biceps and triceps to build arm strength. Train your arms two or three times per week on nonconsecutive days. Superset your biceps and triceps exercises, dumbbell biceps curls. Use a variety of equipment to work your arms. You can choose from machines that target the arms, cables, bands, barbells, dumbbells and even your own body weight. Working your arms with different equipment and from different angles will help stimulate growth to improve strength. Remember- stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, nauseated or light-headed. Don't workout if your arms are still sore. Take a little more time so they can heal. Don't compromise exercise technique for additional resistance -- form first, then add the weight. Have a spotter to help you if you are lifting very heavy weights.

Constipation: is due to an incorrect lifestyle and irregular eating patterns, not taking enough fluids, sedentary lifestyle. Foods that are heavy and difficult to digest, as well as oily, spicy, fried, and junk foods are the culprits. Eating food in a disturbed atmosphere or in front of the television and being awake late at night all lead to bowel disturbance. Psychological factors like stress, anxiety, fear, jealousy, and sorrow also play an important role. Diet & lifestyle advice: increase intake of fiber, especially fruits and cooked vegetables. An apple or pineapple/pomegranate each day is helpful. Drink 7-8 glasses of lukewarm water each day. Take daily morning and evening walks for at least 20-30 minutes each. Eat whole grains /nuts/sprouts and muesli in breakfast avoid refined foods like white flour, bread, pasta, pizza, white rice, or high protein foods like cheese, meat and cold foods like ice cream or chilled drinks take meals in a relaxed and calm atmosphere. The food should be warm and freshly -prepared, as cold food slows the digestive power. Take 30 ml/6 tsp of syp piclin thrice daily after meals with lukewarm water.
