Towel hamstring stretch lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated hamstring stretch while sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds repeat 3 times for each leg.

I am trying to eat vegetarian diet. How can I get the protein that I need? Is there any side effect for body?
If you are trying to get protein from vegetable then have mushroom, tofu, soy milk, soybean, soy product, cottage cheese, peas, peanut butter, almond, yogurt. You can use whey protein as a protein source. Animal protein is good protein source but there is no side effects if you use vegetable protein source.

Don't let more than four hours go by without eating. Eat several foods at once. Eat healthy, but dense foods. Drink your food. Eat right before bed. Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day take banana milk shake. Take pranacharaya karsyatanashak capsule twice a day. Take sleep after taking meal drink lots of milk and eat lots of milk products. Like butter. Ghee. Eat sweets.

Hye. Thanks for the query. Maintaining body weight is not a one time effort that you try, succeed or fail or drop the actions that take you there. You are what you eat. Your weight is nothing but a balance of how much you eat and how much you burn or exercise. Understanding this art of balance will make it easy to maintain your body weight. Walking, swimming, strength training as well as eating are all calorie burning processes. Along with this if you eat sensibly; then you will see the scales move. There is no short cut to losing weight. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals.     Reduce your main meals by a small amount. Take a glass of lime water 10minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed.                        Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.     It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called fad, crash diets, medicines, pills or supplements will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, lose that fat not muscle mass.

Use antibacterial body wash by sebamed. The ph balance is well balanced in that body wash that will keep your pelvic region bacteria and odor free.

The cut is just a physical artificial body in you. It cannot in any way affect your weight. There are many other reasons for weight gain. You might not be eating right or you might have knowingly reduced intake. This can cause weight gain. Also change in stress levels activity levels can cause difference in nutrient needs but we still might be eating as before. Also not taking care of nutrition after delivery can cause hormonal imbalance and weight gain. So try to find out what changes have taken place in your lifestyle that has caused the gain. Lastly you can get your thyroid levels tested if gain is drastic.

Dear patient, desire to live is basic entity of life. And now you are in depression and frustration. As a psychotherapist, I can guess that you have problem either with your loved one, or you have financial problem. What i'm really trying to say is, if life is terrible, seek help within its framework before you start planning to seek a path that would cause you to exit that framework altogether. Think of it as time you're not going to miss if you're dead, it's a bonus round. There are lots of good doctors working in the world today who want to help make your experience more supportive and more hopeful than it might seem right now. A balanced diet is a diet that has sufficient amounts of all components of food like carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins & minerals with water. A healthy diet includes all these components of food without overloading oneself with just one component. Inclusion of dals, rice, milk, veggies, fruits & various oils in a balanced way will serve as a balanced diet.

I am 24 years old, Since 3 months, Often like every month Ive been suffering with mouth ulcers when I eat something spicy like pickles etc. But only once it was very much severe and painful and I got rid of it with some medicines anyhow. I wanna know the reason whether it's because of vitamin deficiency. No signs of fever or body pains when I get. Just mouth ulcers causing little pain.

Sir, I m suffering from diabetes for the last two yrs, last week I tested my diabetes (two hours after lunch), the report shows 281 but from that blood sample, my three months average diabetes shows 138, how it is possible? before 3 days my rendom blood sugar was 152, I m taking tablet for diabetes, please give me your suggestion.

I heard that if a hen is steroid, white part of boiled egg of this hen will not affect the steroid. It is safe to eat. Then yellow part, flesh and bones affect steroid, or have steroid content. Is this is true? Please reply.

White portion of egg is rich in protein and yellow portion is rich in cholesterol.Over weight people should take egg white and avoid yellow portion

Hi lybrate user, before doing yoga or gym, please do proper warm up exercises of 10-15 minutes. In these 10-15 minutes do some walk, jog and side jumps and light stretches. Your back pain happens because the instructors may not be getting proper warm up done. Plus whenever you start any exercises. It is important to build up slowly and gradually. Yoga does not mean training for acrobatics. It is just a way of increasing your physical and mental abilities. Do it slowly and step by step. Do not overstretch. Whatever you can't do. Don't do it. If your body is telling you to stop then stop. You know your body better than your instructor. Any exercise you feel uncomfortable. Do as much as you can and then stop. Use any balm to massage your back. It will get okay with time. All the best.

Lunch ? Salad of raw vegetables such as carrot, beet, cucumber, cabbage, tomatoes. In case you do not digest raw vegetables, either steam or boil them. Whole grain bread or whole wheat chapattis (Indian recipe) and a glass of buttermilk. It will be good to add some roasted cumin seeds, green coriander leaves, a little salt and some grated ginger in the butter milk.For further assistance and complete diet plan and treatment you can consult me privately.
