I have exams after few days but I didn't study anything when I try to read my mind goes somewhere else and I feel sleepy, tired what should I do please suggest something helpful.

Hello try to modify your schedule. Start your day with morning walk and exercise. This will help you to feel fresh. Take good healthy diet. Form a study time table. You can take help of study organizers. You can write number of chapters to be learnin one column and then make adjacent column naming them learn, then revised 1, then revised 2. Whenever you finished learning 1 chapter put a tick. When you are finished with revision 1 put another tick. This will help you to get an idea about your preparation and will increase your confidence. Goal setting can also be another technique, you can set goals like need to complete 1chapter within 1 hour. Tell yourself that you will not leave your preparation between. After achievement of your goal reinforce yourself by engaging into likeable activity. All the best. Please feel free to give your feedback. Take care.

Don't try to get up so suddenly. When you think that you want to get up now, try to do it a little bit slowly. Also get the number of your eyes checked. There might be some problem with the vision as well.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. It is good to know that blood glucose is well controlled and does not go up even after eating "2 doodh pedha" It wolud be better if you check HbA1c% and see if it is <5.9% then one can say you have no diabetes now. Whether you should stop medication is a difficult question to answer. My suggestion is maintain your healthy lifestyle, including diet and regular exercise, then stop the medication for about 2 weeks and check the blood glucose levels. If levels remain within normal limit then probably one might conclude there is no diabetes. Do try and come back after wards. Thanks.

Is it safe to take Whey Protein as I had anal fissure before now I got the surgery done but still I'm not sure would protein hinder my digestive process or not. Can you suggest me, should I take protein shake or not? I really want to gain some muscles.

Taking proteins depend upon your exercise level. Just by taking whey, one does not gain muscles. Also if you are a beginner, you should focus on basics. After one has achieved a basic level of fitness, they should start supplements to reach next level.

Hi, I am atul, 41 ys old. I got tested for vit -d, which is found to be low, 14.9 ng/ml. I got it tested 2 years back also when it was found to be around 32, but still doctor advised me vit D3 capsules of 60000 iu once per week for 4-5 months. I took it but vit D didn't increase much and went to 35. In between my medicine was also reduced to 2000 iu and also stopped in between for some time. Now I was taking it 1000 iu per day from last 2-3 months but still after taking medicine, it came too low today, 15 only. Report attached. So, I am surprised why it is not increasing when I have taken medicines also. I also have history of hypothyroidism and high lipids from last 10 years. I take 62.5 mcg Thyronorm daily and 5 mg rosulip from last 3 months. Lipids are in control now. Please suggest what I should do and whi h medicine to take to elevate vit D levels. I was told to take combination of vit D3 along with Vit K2. Please suggest. Thanks a lot. Atul.

Hello Sir, Ibis a little unclear when you had the last Vitamin D levels checked. Vitamin D is synthesized in the skin when the skin is exposed to sunlight. Vitamin D is present in the food in very small quantities. So the only way you could get a reasonable level of Vitamin D levels in your body is by exposing your body- that is the upper part of your body including arms and legs to sunlight for at least 45 min every day. As it is nearly summer season now, you can sit in the sun at around 9-10 am every day for about 45 min. Alternatively you can continue taking 1000 IU of vitamin D tablet every day. Your lipid levels would be abnormal if you have hypothyroidism, once he thyroid hormone levels are in normal range, the lipid levels will reduce too. You could even stop the Rosulip but check your lipid levels once a year. Hope this helps you Thank you.
