Hello, Small frequent meal. High rich protein diet milk shakes allowed like banana shakes, mango shakes, chiku shakes •Increase your appetite by eating more to gain weight. But do it step-by-step and not by stuffing yourself too much at one go. Add one extra chapatti or more rice than you normally consume, or you even start with fruits by eating an extra one every day. Carbs are needed to gain weight but include healthier options like banana, potato, mango, whole grains, rice, etc. Instead of sugar-rich foods, chocolates, and other junk foods.

Dear Lybrate User, Light to moderate exercise doesn't have any negative effects on ovulation. However, excessive exercise can drastically reduce estrogen and progesterone levels, delaying ovulation or even suppressing it altogether. So, there is no harm in doing household work or yoga.

Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.

In the recent years, with the building work pressure and the increasing stress in our everyday activities, our regular lives have become choc-a-bloc with all sorts of engagements. This often renders our bodies prone to fatigue and listlessness. This phenomenon can often be observed in an intensified form by way of a disorder called Fibromyalgia or as it is deemed in common parlance, "rheumatism". 

Fibromyalgia is an ailment, which causes pain in the body tissues. The tender and fibrous tissues like muscles, ligaments and tendons are often affected by this disease. As a consequence of Fibromyalgia, one feels incapacitated to work or perform any physical activity. Sometimes Fibromyalgia is accompanied by extreme headaches, sleep disturbances, muscle pain and consistent dizziness. 

The degree of chronicity of the disease may vary but the underlying cause remains the same. Given the high incidence of the disease, the treatment for the same is also widely available. However, for a more effective and lasting cure, many resort to homeopathy.

Homeopathy offers several remedies to Fibromyalgia, classified on the basis of the discrete symptoms of the disease: 

  1. Rhus Tox: Rhus Tox is an excellent antidote for rheumatism induced stillness and muscle pain. When paired with suitable exercises, it can afford a lot of relief. 
  2. Ruta Grav: Ruta Grav aids in relieving tendon pains and sustained usage helps in restoring muscle strength in case of Fibromyalgia.
  3. Rhododendron: Often the Fibromyalgia pain gets aggravated with a marked change in the season. Rhododendron mitigates the intensity of the pain. 
  4. Arnica: For any injury induced body ache, Arnica is an extremely effective cure. It also functions as the foremost option, when the precise causes or the symptoms are unknown. 
  5. Causticum: Certain forms of Fibromyalgia are accompanied with soreness, weakness and a feeling of stillness. Causticum soothes such ailments.
  6. Bryonia: Bryonia alleviates chronic pain in the soft tissues of the body. Exposure to heat needs to be avoided mandatorily in order to optimize the effect of Bryonia. 
  7. Kalmia Latifolia: When besides the obverse symptoms of Fibromyalgia, the pain in the muscle is accompanied with a feeling of cold and numbness, one of the best homeopathic cures is Kalmia Latifolia. 

Fibryomalgia is an ailment, which not only manifests physical troubles but also affects one's emotional status adversely. Therefore, to mete out the best remedy, homeopathy carefully assess both the physical and the psychosocial bearing of the patient before recommending a particular cure.

Only pills will not be effective, increase in weight with abdominal fat accumulation are bad for health, in longer creates problems. Reduction requires, weight reducing specific diet and herbal supplements along with regular specific tummy flatten exercises and yoga practices, if interested for full regimen, inform.

My query is for my sister. She is 37 years old and unmarried. She has diagnosed with Schizophrenia and her treatment is going on for this problem from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital from the past one year. Her problem related to his is under control. But her weight is 109 kg. Her doctor advised to reduce weight otherwise many problems will arise. We consult gynecologist, Dietician as advised by her RML doctor. Hye. Thank you for your query. There are many ways to lose a lot of weight fast. However, most of them will make you hungry and unsatisfied. If you don’t have iron willpower, then hunger will cause you to give up on these plans quickly plus all you lose is unhealthy muscle mass and the fats are still around. Eating sensibly and as per your body's nutrient needs will reduce your appetite significantly, Make you lose weight healthily without hunger and improve your metabolic health at the same time. Here are some tips to help you lose weight. Eat a high-protein breakfast. Eating a high-protein breakfast has been shown to reduce cravings and calorie intake throughout the day. Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice. These are the most fattening things you can put into your body, and avoiding them can help you lose weight. Drink water a half hour before meals. Drinking water a half hour before meals increased weight loss by suppressing appetite and avoiding overeating. Choose seasonal foods. Eat smaller but more frequent meals. Eat soluble fiber. Eat fruits and vegetables. Eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods. Base most of your diet on whole foods. They are healthier, more filling and much less likely to cause overeating. Eat your food slowly. Fast eaters gain more weight over time. Eating slowly makes you feel more full and boosts weight-reducing hormones. Use smaller plates. Studies show that people automatically eat less when they use smaller plates. Get a good night’s sleep, every night. Poor sleep is one of the strongest risk factors for weight gain, so taking care of your sleep is important. It is best to do some sort of resistance training. Take 1 protein food in each and every meal. Take roasted chana, nuts ,nuts powder to add in milk as you are staying in hostel. Take all milk and milk products, eggs, pulses, sprouts, nuts, tofu, rajmah, chole, soyabean, paneer, chicken, fish etc. To gain muscle mass. Take Small and frequent meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs.
