Hi Sir, my father is diabetic. His sugar is 344 post breakfast and on fasting is 180. Now we have seen doctor, he advised for insulin injection needs to be injected daily in stomach. please suggest whether insulin injection is good and now this is the only option for whole life? please help and advise. What all medicine he is taking and in what dose, write in details on private chat 1.no alcohol 2. Reduce body wt 3. No smoking/ tobacco 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. No sugar, potato, rice 5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil massage to get vit d. 9. Take more water for medicine contact on private chat. Good luck.

Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control....take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day....medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day....and pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day...avoid junk food...oily food...fermented food..alcohol consumption..sugar....milk products and sweets....take oats and cereals more..and do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day...and do exercises....dont sleep immediately after taking meal....

When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. So you should take following remedies improving weight a]triphala kadha 4tsp before lunch and dinner b]amala juice 4 tsp + sugar 2 tsp+ honey 2 tsp empty stomach in the morning umami flavor increases satiety and enhances appetite. Hi to increase weight you should improve your digestive system. By digesting your indigested food with the help of remedy and medicines will ultimately increase your appetite and digestive system. Take chitrakadi vati after meal. Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day. Take banana milk shake. Drink lots of milk and eat lots of milk products. Like butter. Ghee.

Know Everything About Impulse Control Disorders

A certain psychiatric condition, which causes a person to be functionally impaired in social and occupational settings is known as Impulse Control Disorder. Most of you are granted with the ability to think before you act but it isn't the case for people suffering with such a condition. People diagnosed with this condition are not able to withstand the urge to do something detrimental to themselves or other people.

This condition is similar to other disorders such as kleptomania, compulsive gambling and pyromania to name a few. Although people suffering from this disorder do not plan their acts, the acts they do perform generally fulfill their conscious wishes. Other disorders of such similar nature like Kleptomania and ADHD (Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder), which are associated with difficulty in controlling impulses but that is not their chief feature. Patients of impulse control disorder find it highly distressful and are hence often seen to lose control of their actions and consequently their lives.

What causes this disorder?
Some medical practitioners are of the opinion that this disorder is a subgroup of other conditions, such as stress, anxiety, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and etc. Scientists and researchers are not particularly sure what causes this condition but have determined that it can be caused due to a combination of physiological, emotional and psychological factors pertaining to cultural and societal aspects. Also, certain brain structures linked to emotions and memory functions in and around the frontal lobe are linked to planning functions and impulses.

Some studies show that certain hormones such as testosterone which are associated with aggression and violence may also play a role in forming such disorder. Aggressive and violent behaviors are apparent in people suffering from this disorder. Certain studies have shown a connection between certain forms of seizure disorders and aggressive impulsive behaviors.

People with such disorders are also more likely to contract addiction and mood disorders. Antidepressants are usually prescribed in treating such disorders. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a psychiatrist.

Hi, try to loose your weight naturally you have to do some dietary changes and physical activity. Take small & frequent meal (2 major meal and 3-4 small meal). Avoid taking heavy dinner. Cut or stop simple sugar and simple carbs, preserved, tinned and canned products from diet. Avoid outside food. Try to take 4-5 meals of green leafy vegetables & fruits. Take sufficient water (10-12 glasses in a day). Start work out approx for 30-40 minutes daily like brisk walk, running, jogging, skipping, swimming whatever you like.

According to his age his weight is more. You have to work towards his weight loss programme. Overweight causes lot of lethargy and fatigue. Drink lots of water or fluids like tender coconut water, buttermilk, lime juice etc. Eat lots of fiber i.E veggies and fruits .Fresh fruits vegetables broth based soup low fat milk promote hydration. Avoid fatty fried foods ,junk,soft drinks high fat cheese,cookies,pickel, papad all all these food emphasize on low of fiber fare and lead to constipation and bowel movement strain. One should use more of papaya,musk melon,spinach,radish and green leafy veggies. Hello. Eat high carbs and calories in diet. Take full cream milk and milk products. Take soya products and also soya milk. Eat nuts daily because it rich in omega 3 and healthy fat. Take protein shakes daily. Protein powder is easily available in market. Take it twice a day. Take avocados, banana, cheese, white rice, potato, sweet potato, dark chocolate, peanut butter, soyabean etc. All these are natural weight manager. Insufficient food or insufficient nutrients sometimes might lead to lethargy, weakness etc. Get motivated enough to ensure the quality and quantity of food consumption is not compromised. Lybrate-user, please clarify whether you want to know how to control weight gain in pregnancy or want to reduce weight even otherwise. Because during pregnancy a gain of 12 to 14 kg weight is natural. Because of uterine size increase, placenta, amniotic fluid, fetus, mothers tissues particularly breast and in general. So weight gain is inevitable and necessary. If you have hypothyroidism and it is not in complete check, then also weight increases. When fully under control tsh should be between 3 to 4 milli units/l. Then only all symptoms are under control. Further, in pregnancy tsh levels should be still lower. Recommended levels are 1st trimester 0.1 to 2 milli units, 2nd trimester 0.3 to 3 milli units & 3rd 0.3 to 3.5 milli units/l. If levels are higher than these then that can lead to improper development of fetus, miscarriages and over all bad out come of pregnancy. If you have any doubts please come back. Thanks.

Hello You need not worry. You can visit a physician so that multi vitamin can be prescribed. Along with include the following in your diet: Milk and milk products Soya and soya products like tofu. If you are non vegetarian include eggs, red meat. Thank you.
