How can I reduce extra fat?
Hi, I am both a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in losing your weight as well as solve your other health problems through a dietary therapy. Let me know your food intake details. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0.5-1.0kg) a week I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Don't fall for self dieting or fad diets availiable online they have harmful effects in the long run, if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you may not lose as much fat as you would with a more modest rate of weight loss. Instead, you might lose water weight or even lean muscle tissue, since it's hard to burn that many fat calories in a short period. I will need to carry out detailed assessment in your case, after assessing your personal challenges to weight loss, I will recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. Also the overall objective should not be to drastically reduce weight but doing it gradually and help rebuild body tissues and to maintain ideal body weight. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies.

Chronic kidney disease also known as chronic renal disease is a form of kidney disorder where renal function is progressively lost over a long period. This disease has got unspecific symptoms and includes loss of appetite, feeling unwell, etc. People with high blood pressure or diabetes are more likely to have CKD. This disease leads to other complications, such as cardiovascular disease, anaemia and pericarditis.

Homeopathy is an ideal and effective form of treatment for chronic kidney diseases. Homeopathy is natural and tries to correct all the underlying causes of the condition. General symptoms and constitutional indications are considered in homeopathy before choosing the best medicine. Here is a list of several homeopathic medicines, which are used to treat chronic kidney diseases, along with the symptoms in case of which they are used.

  1. Apis mellifica: This homeopathic medicine is not used in acute forms of CKD. Symptoms of this type include oedematous swelling on the face, paleness, headaches, pain in the back and limb, oedema pulmonum, etc. It is used when there are dull aches in the kidney, reduced urination and micturition. The urine contains albumen in high levels and blood corpuscles. Eruption of the skin occurs, and the patient feels drowsy.
  2. Arsenicum: This medicine is used in all stages of CKD and is one of the best remedies. It is used in later stages of the disease when the patient's skin becomes pale, and he develops a waxen appearance, excess thirst and diarrhoea. The shade of the urine is dark and full of albumen. Dyspnoea attacks are also observed while lying down during the night. Taking aconite produces a mucus and the patient gets relief.
  3. Aurum muriaticum: This homeopathic medicine is used to cure renal diseases such as morbus brightii caused from a gout or from syphilis. Digestive and nervous problems are indicated along with great irritability. Vertigo may also be caused.
  4. Belladonna: Belladonna is the ideal homeopathic remedy for treating inflammation of the kidneys accompanied by piercing or burning pain in the lumbar region of the kidney. The pain reappears repeatedly with increased intensity each time.
  5. Cantharis: This homeopathic cure is used in nephritis. There is a cutting pain in the lumbar region, the urine contains blood and the flow is in the form of drops. Cantharis is used in post diphtheric kidney disorders with dropsy.
  6. Conavallaria: Conavallaria is used in case of nephritis occurring due to heart disorders. It is used when the heart functions irregularly and also in anasarca and ascites because of mitral insufficiency.

Homeopathic medicines are very efficient for the  treatment of chronic kidney diseases. There are homeopathic cures for all types of renal diseases.

Yes it is good source of protein but it is deficient in some essential amino acids so 1 pack in a day is good to take but take other protein rich foods also in your diet to get all amino acids.

The best way to get a flat stomach is to try high intensity cardio. This is because it burns a larger number of calories than low intensity cardio. A guideline for creating the best vegetarian diet for weight loss. Based on this, you can create your own diet plan as the food choices of each person may vary and the items available to you may be different from what mentioned here. Early Morning You can have any of the following items to start your day. 1 glass of lukewarm water with lemon juice added to it. This drink will have zero calories in it. You can add one teaspoon of honey to the above mix and have it in the morning. This combination is believed to burn the fat inside the body. 1 cup of green tea or black tea or black coffee without added sugar You can choose any of these for your diet plan or change the items daily to avoid monotony. Breakfast You can have a breakfast which contains less than 350 calories. Here are some options Two rotis along with half a cup lentil gravy or tofu gravy OR 1 quarter plate brown bread or broken wheat upma and a cup of low fat milk OR 2 Idlis and half a cup of sambar  and ½ cup of low fat milk Mid Morning Snack You can use boiled pulses, green salads, low- calorie fruits or nuts as a snack Take ½ cup melon/cucumber and carrot salad or 20 grapes or a fistful of peanuts/ almonds/ melon seeds. Make sure that the calorie consumption is between 50-70 calories. Lunch There are multiple options for vegetarian lunch. You can eat rotis with vegetables or go for brown rice and vegetable gravies or have some roti and rice, according to your preference. Make sure that the calories do not exceed 350 calories. Eat small frequent meals through out the day. Atleast 6meals per day. Include low fat curd paneer and buttermilk in your diet. Avoid carbohydrates at night. you can have proteins for dinner. Exercise regularly for 40 mins

1. Avoid all snacks and commercial products with sugar in them - biscuits, cakes, bournvita, horlicks, coke, pepsi, energy drinks, sweetened yogurt etc. 2. Cut down on your daily intake of tea/coffee and maintain it at 3-4 cups a day. 3. Try to add little sugar to any beverage (coffee, tea, milk, lemon water etc.) that you have and ideally you should refrain from adding any sugar altogether. 4. If you have a sitting job then ensure that you do not sit for more than 30 minutes at one stretch. Get up and move a little after every 30 minutes. 5. Try to work out for 20 minutes each day. You do not necessarily have to go to the gym. You can incorporate some pretty powerful exercises in your daily routine like - squats, skipping, surya namaskar and core exercises. 6. Do not eat for 3 hours before you go to sleep. Eating before going to bed is one of the main cause of rapid weight gain. 7. Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday but remember that tea/coffee are not substitutes for pure water.

Female 23 years married, under pursue with Medication of Pott's Spine/ Bone TB. My weight is still 35 kgs and want to increase my weight, although I eat very less but I feel my stomach is full or will get feeling of vomiting if I try to eat little much. Also don't have any carving. Throughout day I can have maximum 2 chapattis, 1 bowl rice, little cooked vegetables and 2 glass milk. Egg protein is best protein, so if you are an eggitarian you can have one or two eggs daily, if it suits you. Second thing recommended to you is to take small meals but frequently. I you should take 5-6 meals in a day but small in amounts rather than large meals 3 times a day.

Dear. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight. * body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soup or salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. Repeat it for 5-10 times daily for flat tummy. * do surya namaskar yoga everyday, as surya namaskar have 12 forms of yoga. Do it for in morning everyday to get in shape in short period. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories.

Please do stretching exercises daily in morning. Avoid sedentary life. Keep moving as often as you can. Find a great personal trainer and yoga instructor to keep you consistent.

I have less weight and fitness than my age. I want to be fit. I am taking full diet after that I have not been increased my weight. What can I do sir?

Maybe you are not eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy eggs nuts fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements. They will not work in isolation. You have to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

I am highly unmotivated with no daily routine. I suffer from low self esteem can't sleep at night and cry abruptly when I am alone. But when I am with people around me I talk and joke around too much which fills me with a sense of guilt. Should I consult a psychiatrist.

Girls do get pain in breasts before periods and it is called pre menstrual syndrome, water 'logging' is in entire body but felt more in the breasts due to tiny baloons present whose function is to store milk ,not extra water. It is due to some hormonal imbalance and treatment is simple - reduce salt intake because just observe in your kitchen ,salt has a tendency to 'retain' water , take more potassium present in lemons ,oranges etc. potassium automatically reduces the effect of sodium present in common salt , I am not asking you to eat saltless bland food , but reduce extra intake through chutneys , papads , sauces and pickles because salt is a preservative too. take green tea , because all of the above things rich in potassium leads to more urine , and extra water and salt are out of the body , one does not have to take medicines to induce urination , I hope you know how to do self analysis of breast , look for any lumps ,just to rule out any other reason of pain in breast.

Increase of 15 kg weight in 30 days is not possible. It will take atleast 4 to 5 months minimum. You can take Alfa tonic thrice a day with Cal. Phos four tablets daily once for three months. Also you may take banana shake daily in morning and date milk at night for one month. Add butter 40 gram with sugar in your daily meal.

Steroid inhalers are very bad for health. And addictive. So start cow ghee 1-1 drop in both nostrils at night time before sleep. And take shwas kuthar ras. Gandhak rasayan and shukti bhasm with honey 2 times a day.
