Go for physical exercise, I hope you are playing out door games, which keeps you fit. Please don't sit for long time on tv, pc, tabs. Which will cause you this problems. Go out and play some games. Drink more water in a day along with your diet.

Intake of food for a diabetic depends on how he is controlling his blood sugar level. Whether is he under proper medication or is he doing proper work out to burn the excess calories. * whole grains, dal, vegetables, fish, meat (no red meat, egg, fruits are advisable. Avoid junk food, nicotine.

Few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast, khaari ,naan ,white bread. Can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water.

Weight gain is muscle gain. In your condition your energy requirement is very high so whatever you eat is used as a source of energy and you do not make muscle. To gain muscles you will have to eat at least 6 meals (high calorie) in a day at a regular interval with a proper ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. Proteins will help you gain body mass while carbohydrates will help you give energy. Protein foods are eggs, fish, chicken, milk and milk products, meat and dals. Carbohydrate foods are roti and rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. You have to eat vegetables and fuits and use healthy and good fats for cooking like ghee, cold pressed mustrad or til oil. You will also have to do some weight training exercise to help you build mass into the body. Also drink enough water to keep you hydrated.

Be particular about food choices & timings. Follow the proper do's and don't of diabetes avoid all refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Avoid high starchy foods such as rice, potato & colocasia. Include more fiber, pulses & green leafy vegetables in your diet. Avoid sweetend fruits such as banana, mango, litchi, chickoo, grapes from your diet.

Problem after having whey protein . I have tried several brands in whey but after drinking whey protein shek . I get 4 5 times bowl n gass also burning on anal . Some ppl suggest me go for hydrolysed whey or egg protein .

Hi Lybrate User, Right now you are about 15 Kgs extra. Plus you have discovered serious issues like Blood Sugar + Thyroid. 1. I think your focus right now should be on how to manage the problem of Blood Sugar. 2. Thyroid can be easily taken care of by regular medicines. 3. Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. How much is a difficult to answer. Baby suckles and gets about 20 ml, every hour or so for 1st month as stomach is small and demand is more due to rapid growth. 2nd month it increases to 40 ml, 2 hourly, 3rd month is double and so on the gap between feeds goes on increasing from an hour to 4 hours or so and many mothers prefer feeding on demand compared to a timely schedule - means if baby is sleeping for 6 hours being fed well, bathed and massaged, do not wake up to feed the baby. In our country expressing of milk and storing it is a new practice, neither we have' milk banks' but we do have wet nurses who feed babies of sick mothers who are unable to do so, some mothers after operative deliveries are made to express and store it in fridge but I feel expressing & storing of milk should not be encouraged, baby should be fed direct to avoid any outside contamination and infection.

Hi, do exercises, walking, cycling regularly. Take tab phytolacca berry (dr wilmar shawbe. German) 2tabs to be chewed twice a day for 1mth eat oats daily as it contains high fiber and helps in reducing fats effectively. Avoid bakery products and too much of fermented food revert back.

You have rashes and boils on your pvt. Parts from few days. For it you can use cream surfaz-sn thrice a day. And bath with warm water for few days. But you have not mention what is level of your blood sugar. Pl. Tell us your level of diabetes. Or hb1ac reports. Then I can help you in diabetes.

My father is suffering from diabetes since last 10-12 years. But nowadays his diabetes is getting uncontrolled. According to recent reports, his diabetes level were found to be elevated. His fasting sugar was 160mg/dl nd his post potential sugar level is 360mg/dl. He is undergoing medication. Basically he is taking combination of metformin and glimepiride. He is high BP patient also. So its my humble request from the respected doctors to please tell its treatment.

In diabetes the most important thing is diet and exercise.These two things can control high sugar levels.So do regular exercise like walking,yoga,sit ups and other free hand exercises.Take balanced diet.Eat small amount of foods more frequently.Take foods 5-6 times instead of 3 big meals.Avoid fast foods,junk foods,processed foods,sugar,sweetened juice,soft drinks,underground vegetables pumpkin,banana.Eat unrefined foods but not more.Take watery vegetables,whole fruits.Take egg white,lean meat,fish,dairy products and other protein sources more to control diabetes.Add small amount of healthy fats.Take walnut,almond,seeds.Drink lots of water specially before meals.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Use nutritional supplement in this regard.Take stress free rest and these will help you.

Hi lybrate-user to reduce belly fat you need to be particular about food choices & timings. Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink plenty of water. Avoid refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Keep check on your food intake.
