Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism along with your daily diet and exercise routine. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Weight gain is all about taking more calories than you burn. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. There is no one food that helps weight gain. Eat meals at frequent intervals. You need to eat at least 6 meals a day. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits, dry fruits, starchy vegetables, rice, bread, whole grain cereals, smoothies, masala milk, ghee in your meals. Just eating sugary, sweet foods is not good. Try to have healthy deserts. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. It helps development of muscle mass and improves appetite. Even if you were to take just medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation. You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal and good exercise routine, it's crucial. You cannot stop pollution so try to stay healthy and cover your face with a buff or handkerchief in case travelling in pollution.

Hi, lybrate-user You are gaining weight due to hormonal and metabolic imbalance in body. Hormonal imbalance can be treated with right food and supplement. You have fat deposit on tummy or belly this indicates that you may have insulin resistance. The food which helps in balancing insulin resistance will help you in losing weight faster. You are having a good diet.Just keep one thing in mind,dont overeat.otherwise what you are eating in dinner is ok.

EAT E- Eat right food A - Eat right Amount of food T- Eat right food in right ammont on right Time what is right food? Always choose easy preprations: those food itemts cooked easyly are healthier, contain more nutrition and easy to digest. Avoid deep fried extra oily food: Generally deep fried over cooked foods causes acidity and gastric problem which lead to indigestion and later on weight gain due to improper digestive system. Add colors to your diet: Use color full vegetables, and eat different color fruits, it will provide phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are natural compounds found in plant foods such as vegetables, fruit, whole grain products and legumes. These plant compounds have beneficial effects working with other essential nutrients to promote good health. Divide your plate into four sections with dairy on the side to represent the five food groups: Fruits Vegetables Grains Protein Dairy What is right ammount of food? (It means your Portion size): One easy way to size up portions if you don't have any measurements is to use your hand as a guide: A clenched fist is about a cup — and a cup is the amount experts recommend for a portion of pasta, rice, cereal, vegetables, and fruit. A meat portion should be about as big as your palm. Limit the amount of added fats (like butter, mayo, or salad dressing) to the size of the top of your thumb. Right time: Fix meal timings, and try to stick to those timings. Maintain a proper gap of meals to get it digest well.

It is 2 months now. After my cesarean and I didn't use a belt around my waist. I'm 5'4" in height and 76 in weight while pregnant and 66 at present. What precautions should I take in order to keep my weight under control and please suggest which exercises I can do.

1. Reduce Salt Intake: More salt in body means more sodium which gives a puffy look to your body. So, it’s advised to eat less salt and more potassium as it will reduce the amount of water in the body resulting in reduced weight. 2. Never Skip Exercise: Exercise daily because this is one sure-shot way of reducing weight because it burns direct fat. Especially cardio exercises can help in reducing weight but you have to be regular in that. 3. Manage Your Diet Well: Diet management is the first and foremost thing that can help you deal with the problem of obesity. It is not easy and everyone’s cup of tea to have a control on diet but half the battle is won, if you can deal with this dietary change. Your diet should be low in calories, with less carbohydrates and less fats. 4. Have Mint Leaves: Taking mint leaves in warm water half an hour after taking meals will prove to be beneficial in losing weight as it helps in proper digestion and boosting metabolism. 5. Drink Green Tea: Green tea, an antioxidant by nature can go a long way in helping you reduce weight. So, prefer taking green tea, if not more once or twice a day. 6. Switch To Lukewarm Water: Drinking lukewarm water every time you are thirsty will reduce fat deposits in your body, so you must go for it. 7. Make Homemade Food: Prefer eating homemade food and avoid fatty and fast food.

Current age is 28. Bike accident occurred at the age of 22 with knee ligament injury. and treatment taken was tablets, therapy, bandage. My ques is if currently there is no pain can it occur in future? or should I suppose that it will never occur in future? since it was occurred at young age can we say it got healed 100%? 8 hrs sitting job.

Dear, as you said you had an injury in leg. But now you feel no pain. Therefore the ligament that injured that time has healed now. But when the ligament is healed freshly it do not get its full strength initially. you have to do light exercises daily to recover your full strength back. That means you have a little chance of getting pain again if you are careless and do heavy execises, give sudden jerk and get injured on same site. So consult your nearest physiotherapist to get full strength and better future in Health. Be healthy.

Dear, you can get a healthy muscular body by following methods: - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. You can try protein powders like milk powder, soya protein for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Hello, Yes, it does make your bones, strong, but that isn't enough. You need to supplement your diet with other important nutrients and do strength training regularly for better results.

Is it possible for an indian 55 woman to shed 10 kilos weight without any workout but with help of diet restrictions?

It is possible but the weight you lose will be loss of muscles and bone mass and not so much of fat, causing a double gain the moment you go back to your old habits. Try to follow a balanced intake with at least some form of exercise 3 times a week.

Drink milk empty stomach eat ghee butter dry fruits regularly 1/2 strength simple exercise in morning will be beneficial avoid too much drinking of water at a time and also don't drink water before food drink water sip by sip along the food and after meals also avoid overeating of heavy food and frequently eating 4-5 times in day which makes your appetite poorer day by day and also your body immunity will decrease if your body constiuent is weak by birth and your parents are also of low weight then don't put extra pressure on himself take care for more details consult privetly.

Mr Ayyaz, overflow incontinence is a condition of faulty bladder emptying, which leads to bladder being overfilled and it overflows(leaks). This needs catheter insertion and later treatment of the underlying condition. Please be clear of what problem you have. If kidney swelling has disappeared, thats great, but just confirm with a followup scan. None of this has anything to do with protein intake or building muscle.

Hi lybrate-user firstly, start doing surya namaskar in morning and start eating triphla chooran (natural medicine) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. Start a fruit dieting every alternative day, means you have to eat fruits every alternative days & normal fruit every other alternative days. Avoid late night dinners and try to eat nothing after sunset. Sit in vajrasana after every meal you eat for 10 minutes. Walk atleast 30 min in morning.

Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1. Arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4. Lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.
