Hye, Thanks for the query. Side effects of supplementation only happens if you take it without it being needed by the body. Unless you create a demand supplemention cannot work. The moment you think of weight gain, whatever is your workout or diet intake, does not justify taking a supplement. You cannot gain weight by just adding a supplement to your diet. Weight gain needs additional calories through a balance of carbohydrates, proteins, healthy fats and exercise. Supplementation totally depends on your present food intake & activity levels. So, for weight gain you need a balanced, calorie dense diet and a good exercise routine. Even if you do gain weight it will reduce once you discontinue the supplement. So, before enough decide to start the supplement first work on a healthy diet and exercise routine. So, for supplement to work first you need to concentrate on improving your diet.

Dear lybrateuser, - You can have eggs in any form, boiled is good as it doesn't give extra calories like in fried & omelette, you can have 2 eggs if your cholesterol is not high & other parameters are also normal & you do regular exercise like walking for at least 30 min daily.

Black Pepper Powder And Lemon Juice •In a glass of hot water add 4 tablespoons of lemon juice and I tablespoon of honey. Mix well. •Add 1 teaspoon of freshly crushed black pepper powder and mix well. •Drink this every day in the morning to see effective results.

Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a.Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B.Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C.If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D.Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E.Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F.You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G.You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

Sedentary lifestyle can lead to lot of health issues mainly being overweight. This isn’t just a cosmetic problem. Excess body fat can negatively affect nearly every facet of life, including: Decreased mobility Poorer emotional health and self-esteem Increased risk of organ failure Poorer circulatory health Increased risk of heart disease Increased risk of stress fractures Increased risk of strokes Increased risk of cancers Fat cells can act as endocrine factories and produce hormones that influence numerous processes in the body — most of which lead to more fat accumulation. Beyond the health of it all, carrying a lower body fat is often considered more attractive and desirable. Bottom line: Carrying a lot of excessive body fat makes health, body composition. To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

For blood pressure: walk for 45 minutes daily, switch to sendha namak and strictly avoid iodized salt. Iodized salt is banned in 20 countries because it is one of the main reason of impotency and abnormal blood pressure. Iodine is mainly deprived from all pulses and vegetables grown beneath earth like onion, potato, radish, carrot, yams. In low bp drink luke warm water with 1/2 tea spoon sendha namak in morning (1 month. In high bp bath with salt water (sendha namak). Put 25 grams sendha namak in 1 bucket water and bath with it, do not put that water on your head. After the bath do not wipe your body with towel for 15 minutes, within 15-20 days high bp will be ok. For knee pain: take 5 to 7 leaves of parizaad tree (harsinghaar) grind it into a paste, now put that paste to boil in 100ml water and keep boiling until the water comes to half, now drink that like a tea for not more than 15 days. Never consume refined or double refined oil. Mustard, olive or cow ghee only. For swelling please consult with more details.

Take a balanced diet. 1. A balanced diet is one which contains 45% of carbohydrate, 30% of protein, 25% of fat, essential vitamins and mineral in proper proportion for maintaining health 2. The balanced diet includes fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grain (brown rice/whole wheat pasta, lean protein (chicken/fish), nut, bean like lentil/pea/almond/walnut/sun flower seed/soy bean, fat free cheese/milk/yogurt, low fat oil like olive oil. Avoid saturated fat/cholesterol/sugar/salt/ refined grain/ alcohol. Average person needs 2000 calories daily to maintain health. 3. An active person needs about 3000 calories per day. 4. Limit food which are high in calories like bacon/sausage, cake, cheese, cookies, doughnuts, energy drink, pizza, ice cream.

Dubin-Johnson syndrome is a benign disorder and does not require any specific therapy, although patients should be warned that pregnancy, oral contraceptive use, and intercurrent illness can exacerbate the associated jaundice.

To reduce belly fat you need to be particular about food choices & timings. Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink plenty of water. Avoid refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Keep check on your food intake.

Hip Joint problem of my wife: Full History of present complaints: At age of around 1 year: Old case of congenital dislocation of the hip, treated at that time with plaster. My wife Suffered from Left side Hip-dislocation when she was 1 year old. No surgical operation was done. The Hip-bone was put on the socket (by hand, by the doctor) and plastered for around 3 months. And then it was OK. After that, she did not have any problem till 2009 (at 37 years of age). In 2009: Since 2009, suffering from pain on left Hip-joint. Pain aggravated on standing for long periods. (By profession, she is a Faculty and has to do teaching standing). Pain also interferes with walking distance. Before that, she used to walk and run without any problem. Details of investigations done so far: X-rays taken. X-ray of PBH-AP and (L) hip lateral- Joint space reduction in the superior aspect of the hip joint. Sclerosis of the bone in the acetabular area (superior aspect). Diagnosis: Femoral Acetabular impingement secondary to old congenital dislocation of hip. QUESTION to the DOCTORS (Allopathic or Ayurvedic): Can my wife be treated and cured without surgery? Is there treatment available in Ayurveda? How many days of treatment required and where?

Hi, welcome to lybrate. Com I am here to help you. Most causes of sleeplessness are due to wrong habits and the good news is that it is very very easy to cure them 1. You have to first have a natural circadian rhythm a. Try to go to sleep and get up at the same time every day. B. And wake at the same time 2. Food a. Do not take coffee or tea after 6 pm b. Milk can be taken 3. Light a. Cover the windows and doors with curtains and avoid light b. Avoid watching tv lying in bed c. Avoid mobile phones / tablets 4. Exercise a. I think you are allergic to milk. Avoid it and replace with soya milk, almond milk from only almonds or any plant based protein powders. Check for a week if you are feeling comfortable after avoiding milk. Take probiotics blend for a month with lactobacillus acidophilus and start again drinking milk in small quantities. if you are still facing same problem. Dear Lybrateuser, - To build your body you have to have a well balanced diet with more of proteins & do regular exercises including lifting weights - do not go for supplements as they may affect your kidneys & liver in the long run instead increase your protein intake in your diet - some protein rich foods are eggs, milk & milk products like cheese, paneer, yogurt, butter milk, soya products, tofu, soyabeans, legumes including pulses, peas, non veg such as seafoods, chicken, meats, nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pistachios, cashews, peanuts - add some protein food in all your meals, also have snacks in between meals - have 8-10 glasses of water per day for proper digestion - do regular exercise like jogging, swimming for 20-30 min on most days, on alternate days do moderate weight lifting which will help build muscles, also do resistance exercise like pushups, pull ups to build chest muscles.
