So I will be 12 weeks on tomorrow after laparoscopy to remove endo and ovaries along side an anterior posterior repair. Things are good! Definitely feel like myself again though do still get unnaturally tired if I have a busy few days on the run which is sometimes a bit disappointing but I know.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Tiredness is due to poor nutrition and deficiency. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep well.    Exercise at least thrice a week.

Please note the followings in respect to your queries: 1. Banana and Milk -- Bananas are full of calories and contain high amount of carbohydrates and potassium that give you instant energy. Whosoever want to gain weight must eat a banana daily in the morning with a glass of warm milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar in it. Moreover, you can also have it after your meals. Note – Don’t eat bananas when you are down with common cold. Do stretching exercises/swimming also. If you have any medical disease that needs to be treated. Find a great personal trainer and yoga instructor to keep you consistent. Take Five phos - 4 tablets twice daily.

Failing Libido- What You Need to Do

Your fantasies might have taken a backseat for the time- being or might have remained silenced for more than a while. The other processes of your usual life go on perfectly except for a few changes that you either consider as minute or you attribute them to any cause other than lowered libido. Failing libido can create hurdles in a man as well as a woman's life and thus should be treated at the earliest possible. Even if you don't care much about an impaired sex life; failing libido can bring about considerable changes in your overall health that can prove to be harmful in the long run.

The common causes of decreased libido can be listed as below:

  1. Terminal illnesses like cancer, diabetes and neurological disorders can hamper your sex drive.
  2. Acute exhaustion from performing at work, tending to a family or to a new born can rid you of all energy.
  3. An instance of sexual abuse in the past can result in lowered libido.
  4. A lousy lifestyle where you either smoke or drink regularly can prevent you from experiencing sexual desires.
  5. Irregular sleep patterns can be a contributing factor as well.
  6. In males testosterone levels may sharply drop due to aging. However, in females estrogen levels may drop after surgeries pertaining to the vaginal tract, after menopause or after childbirth and subsequent breast- feeding.

Ways to deal with your failing libido:

  1. Take Bupropion to help your case: Dopamine and norepinephrine are two basic hormones particularly necessary for a good sex drive. The consumption of Bupropion is capable of inducing the secretion of these two hormones.
  2. Try Eating a Mediterranean diet: A Mediterranean diet is perhaps the most reliable solution for a majority of diseases that plague men and women of modern times. This diet is known to treat failing libido in elderly people as well. A Mediterranean diet requires you to eat lots of vegetables and olive oil, while protein should be consumed in limited portions.
  3. Meditate on a Daily Basis: Meditation concentrates your complete energy on the well- being of your mind and body. It helps you to be conscious and aware of the sensations you feel or may feel. When continued over a long stretch of time, it can restore your interest in sexual activities.
  4. Make significant efforts to change your lifestyle: If you have an erratic lifestyle, sexual dysfunction is almost inevitable. You need to follow a routine to prohibit your libido from failing you.

Go for brisk walk 45 minute daily. Take 3 cup green tea daily (jasmine flavour). Have diet rich in fruits vegetable salads & multigrain aata roti avoid rice, deserts, and fried stuffed. Drink 2-3 liters water in a day.

Hi lybrate-user firstly, start doing surya namaskar in morning and start eating triphla chooran (natural medicine) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. Start a fruit dieting every alternative day, means you have to eat fruits every alternative days & normal fruit every other alternative days. Avoid late night dinners and try to eat nothing after sunset. Sit in vajrasana after every meal you eat for 10 minutes. Walk atleast 30 min in morning.

Dear lybrate-user, nice to see such an young boy trying to get help for mom. Diabetes and depression can co occur. Both need treatment. Most of the time your diabetes doctor can manage the depression also by counselling and if necessary with antidepressant tablets. Only when your mom is suicidal or not responding to usual dose and treatment, he/she will refer to psychiatrist. Please request her to discuss with the doctor freely about her depression. Alternately you can go in during her consultation and tell the doctor about her depression.

Dear u need to loose 10 kg weight. Try the tips they can help u:: Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 1. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 2. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 3. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 4. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 5.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice. 6.Drink 2 litres of water daily.

If weight loss was easy, no one would be fat. You need to work hard to see good results. Morning walk is good for health but does not really burn many calories, it burns 1calorie in eight steps, and we consume more than 1500 calories everyday. Your weight does not seem to be a problem with the info you have provided. You require toning. Lift weights and do ab exercises.

I have gain alot weight in past 2yrs of my marriage and finding very hard ro reduce. I have bp issues as well and face anxiety sometimes. I am a bit short tempered and loose confidence early. I am already 145 kg, how should I reduce weight. Either by jogging or gymnasium. If gym then what exercise I should do and avoid. Dear you need to do a lot of hard work for at least 6 months. 1. Do jogging 2 km early morning and aerobics in evening. Daily. 2. Skip dinner only take soups and oats at night. 3. Drink 3 litres of water daily and prefer luke warm water in evening. 4. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 5. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. Morning and evening. 6. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 7. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey in one glass of water. 8. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 9. Take 500 mg medohar guggulu and 500mg triphala guggulu twice a day with warm water after meals (chew it well before swallowing). 10. Revert me back after 20 days, good luck and take care.

Hi here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. Its called nursing bottle caries or could be rampant caries. After feeding the child the milk will be in the mouth leading to cavity. Make the child drink some water to wash away the milk. However once cavity occurs it requires proper management. Prefer to go to a pedodontist a dentist specialist for children.
