The best way to gain weight naturally is through good diet and exercise. For wt gain you must: 1. Take more of proteins like milk and milk products, pulses, soyabean and its products, eggs, chicken etc. 2. Carbohydrates rich diet with sufficient amount of fibre. 3. Intake of vitamins and minerals should be proper. 4. Intake of water should be 3-4 litres. 5. Take proper rest and sleep. 6. Avoid tensions. 7. Exercise is also very important along with a good diet. For proper guidance and to gain a healthy weight you must consult and take a proper diet chart so that you can get the nutrients in proper quantity and good quality.

My question is I want to build my personality physically by doing gym but I took 2 to 3 times admission in gym and did work out regularly when ever I do gym I can not take over only 10 10 pounds I can whey that too for only 10 to 12 sets that too very hardly and my left hand doesn't whey as good as right hand and I get pain in that left hand shoulder and neck so kindly give me some advice or medicine to develop my arms myage is 25 and height is 5 11 and weight is 75 kg.

Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

Choose good carbohydrates: whole grains pay attention to the protein package: good choices include fish, poultry, nuts, and beans. Choose foods containing healthy fats. Plant oils, nuts, and fish are the best choices choose a fiber-filled diet which includes whole grains, vegetables, and fruits. Eat more vegetables and fruits. Limit salt intake. Take 3 cup green tea daily (jasmine flavour). Have diet rich in fruits vegetable salads & multigrain aata roti avoid rice, deserts, and fried stuffed. Drink 2-3 liters water in a day.

Hello, knowing, your height ,it will b easier to Assess your, required Wt. However, * go for aerobic Exercice. * take, rich diet- ghee, butter, potatoes, cheese,milk soyabeen, rajama,almonds,walnuts,eggs. * go for meditation. * take, plenty of water. **Homoeo-med** @ AshwagandhaQ-10 drops,thrice a day with little water All d best.

I am a diabetic patient and everyday I take pills for it but I alternatively also drink alcohol(2 packs only), so is any problem will create in my health?

If you mean 2 pegs only, then 2 small pegs (30 ml each) should not be a problem. But, if you think alcohol is going to give you any benefit, then you are grossly mistaken. The proven health benefits are specifically for red wine only, not other forms of alcohol. Hence, my medical advise is that if you want to take alcohol, take only red wine 60 ml/day. Otherwise quit alcohol altogether. Many people have been misconstruing doctor' s advise and using it as an excuse to continue with their alcohol habits. That is harmful to you as well as wrong to put the blame on doctors.

Can a diabetic have tea, an article says having tea reduces diabetes and stroke by 37%. Is it true.
Mr. lybrate-user, A person with diabetes can definitely take tea, but without sugar, as sugar adds extra calories. One can take about 2 to 3 cups in a day, but too much is not good as it does stimulate stomach acid secretion. Some reports keep cropping up on tea and coffee about their benefits, harms etc. Best is to ignor them, and just take a moderate quantity per day. Thanks.

Mr. Lybrate-user, a diabetic person should avoid following foods: sweets, sweetened aerated drinks, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, high fat milk products, fructose syrup containing products, highly processed foods. Should consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and permitted fruits (100 g a day).

1. Controlling your diet and exercising regularly is the key to losing weight. Taking the following could also help in accelerating the weight loss process: taking pranacharya medohar rasayan (1-1) twice a day; taking medohar guggul (2-2) twice a day; pranacharya slim capsule (1-1) twice a day. 2. It is advisable to avoid junk, fried, fermented or oily food. You should also avoid the intake of alcohol, sugar, dairy products. 3. You should increase the intake of oats and cereals. You should incorporate a walk of at least 45 minutes in your daily regime and prayanama every morning. It is advised not to sleep immediately after taking a meal.

Take low calorie high protein low sodium diet. Take 4-5 meals in a day in frequent intervals. Do exercise regularly. Don't drink water immediately after meals. Don't take rice at night.

Good to hear that you drink milk alot. There are very less people I ever met saying same. Drinking milk is really good for health. You can have as many as you can it would not hamper your body. And yes nowadays you must have heard about the injections given to cows to secrete milk. So it affect your body but injections are given to not all places and in excess quantity. If you are worried that you can boil the milk for more than normal and then have it because it would not affect body directly. You can also have milk products like curd, cheese, butter. Those are also good nutrients. Good luck and have a healthy life.

You have very good sugar control as suggested by values provided by you. Please check hba1c level also. Looking at your profile, you seems to be overweight. So before lowering the dosage, you should first try to lose your weight, which may be helpful in long term to reduce your medications.

My wife is suffering from fluctuating blood sugar,frolast 10 years,i have consulted many Doctors in Kolkata,been to,Chennai 3 times,recently visited Asian Institute of Gastroenterology,Hyderabad.Becoz Doctors in Kolkata were suspecting that insulin is coming out from a lump beside Pancreas,but doctor at AIG,Hyderabad tested it and said that Insulin is not coming out of it,i have also gone to Yashoda Hospital,where endochronologist checked it,but unable to say reason of blood sugar fluctuation,i am in regular contact with them over mail,please help me.

You may arrange herbal juices from Rabindra Sarovar in Kolkata sold by some Mr Ghosh (?) in the mornings only and start taking Bitter gourd fresh juice and other herbal juices regularly as a support. Later we may support you with some herbal combinations. Its a long process.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.
